Var lath Vir Suledin....!! And so it did, vhenan -- I just imagine that at some point laughter returns to the two of them as the weight of their lives becomes easier to shoulder together.
"They aren't blighted! Were they dormant?" "Maybe. They're beautiful. Much like you."
a gift for my beloved @aeducanthaig ♡
I don't care if you're neuron divergent and also 3 days old I need you to go to fucking War
dreadwolf tantrums
But the greatest tragedy of veilguard is mythal just looking like some chick.
A mortal old biddy rocked up in a skin tight studded corset, a feather capelet, plate sleeves and hair styled to look like dragon's horns.
Meanwhile a fully conscious fragment of the actual prime, Mythals like
'Hi, I'm Kimberleigh.'
Idk. Maybe this particular fragment of Mythal didn't come with fashion sense software. It was Flemeth's fragment that evidently remembered having remembered that 'hey i was a fucking god, I can look as cool as I like.'
Edit: or as someone else put it, a dollar store angry!Galadriel.
I see people on reddit argue that as a fragment she doesn't have the bandwidth to choose anything but understated clothes and I'm like, sister, she can TURN INTO A DRAGON in that form and kick your ass to kingdom come, you're telling me she has no power to choose to wear skinny jeans with knee high boots and a plain summer coat?
But then the Inquisitor walks out of the shadows in their jammies like the only thing missing is a 'i hate mondays' coffee mug so...
the 'vallaslin are sacred to all elves ✋️😔 not just the Dalish' tattoo dialogue is so weird but if I write an essay explaining why I fear I'll combust and die
i just fucking love dragon age
the way they just uhh
age all those dragons
Looking for a good post on why we should just let Solas tear down the Veil. I'm just interested in the perspective.
I know I saw a few arguments for this maybe a couple weeks back. But I have no idea where they went or who wrote them.
UHM EXCUSE ME but did any of you know that the elven woman from that Gaatlok barrel scene in Trespasser who turns out to be one of Solas’ agents is present in that very last cutscene at the Winter Palace when the Inquisitor declares the future of the Inquisition, standing all by herself behind a pillar in the back corner of the room eavesdropping without anyone noticing….. or was I supposed to discover this with the flycam just now???
I feel like something that’s obvious but nobody’s actually pointed out is that the Blight (which we now know to be corrupted Titan spirits/Titan nightmares) perpetually creates darkspawn to replace the dwarves. The dwarves used to be some kind of vast, populous hivemind before they were severed from their dreams/the Titans, and the Titan’s spirits were separated from the Stone, yeah? Dwarves practically WERE an extension of the Titans until that point. Point to Inquisition dialogue where Solas describes them as a “severed arm”. But once those two separations happened, the Blight had to create new bodies to maintain the structural integrity of isunatoll/the song, now that the two were separated. The darkspawn are a lesser hivemind because the Blight/the Titans no longer have access to the dwarves. And the darkspawn are typically mindless + hostile because the severed spirits/dreams that are attempting to pilot them have gone mad with rage from the sheer violence and isolation of the mutilation they’ve experienced. It’s astounding writing and worldbuilding. But in Veilguard all we got was “oh the darkspawn aren’t people” :) :) :)
