Thanks a lot OP, I really needed this. :)
you’re enough. maybe someone can better grades. maybe someone has more talents. maybe someone has features you wish you had. but you don’t need to be like them. none of that matters. your existence is important and you have impacts on people you’ll never know. there are things you love and things you created. there are places to go to, people to meet, dogs to pet, art to make, sunsets to see, dreams to achieve. there are people you love with your whole heart and people who love you with their whole heart. that’s enough. life isn’t about competition. it’s about loving others and doing things that are meaningful to you. “better” is subjective and meaningless. your existence can’t be replaced. someone loves you for being yourself. you belong somewhere. you matter deeply to someone. you’re doing your best, and that’s enough. never change.
☕️ Cuphead and Mugman make quite a pair. When debtors spot em, they’re in for a scare.
💥 Happy 2/22/2022. The new cuphead show is a real blast. Really love the old timey feel.

Happy Strike Day Fansies!!! Here’s a look at Jack in my upcoming Newsies American Wizarding School AU fanfic: Jack Kelly and the Enchanted Isle.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
Pardon me if this has been asked before but I was wondering if you had any information on the popular past times that the Newsies liked to partake in? I heard from a friend that they enjoyed watching vaudeville performances but I couldn’t find a source on that.
Yes vaudeville was very popular among the newsies! According to Children of the City: At Work and at Play by David Nasaw the boys used to sit in the cheap seats in front of the stage and throw things at people they didn’t like. This meant that actors would often play to the boys in the cheap seats rather than playing to the boxes as they do now because the children could destroy a whole performance if they didn’t like you.
Other common pastimes were penny arcades, nickelodeon theatres, and gambling games like craps. Boys staying at the lodging house also had access to a games room featuring dominoes, cards, and a billiards table.
If you’re interested in learning more, I recommend Children of the City very highly. There is also a great chapter about newsboy culture in Darkness and Daylight, which, while definitely biassed to encourage sympathy for the charity that published it, is still a great primary resource on New York in the 1890s.
So does this confirm Jack and the Newsies have been banned from Disneyworld?!?
i was in disneyworld for thanksgiving and can u believe they don’t have ANYTHING newsies in the entire park?? the audacity,,,
