I have repeatedly seen my hedgies do this.
Welcome to a world that equally represents. They recast a large number of POCs, and didn't erase LGBTQ+
Some "helpful" reviews, in case anyone is on the fence about watching The Sandman:
I'm in my 40s. I remember putting the phone on the internet cradle and dialing the appropriate network.
I remember drawing a turtle 1 pixel at a time, and doing all that early internet nonsense.
Just load already!
It made me think of the time 3 raccoons tried to open my kitchen door.
Im a white, cis woman and in a monogamous relationship with someone of the opposite gender for the past 13 years. Before that a girlfriend, before that a boyfriend, etc.
So excuse me if I don't stand up as proud and out. Because most of the time I'm not the person who needs pride events. I pass as a normal relationship (well as normal as 13 years without getting married can get you.)
And yet, love is love. Even if you are a bi or pan or omni or whatever.
biphobes make me sick
I trace lineage through a local Lenape tribe, but I'm not part of the culture. It is important to support your local tribes.

Having internet friends is an experience. Did you eat today? I can't believe your sister hasn't apologized yet, what a bitch. Drink a glass of water right now. Want to see a cat picture? I love you. I know you better than your parents. I don't know your name. I'm having a rough day, can you talk to me about your favorite videogame? I love you. Good morning means good night means good afternoon means go to sleep. Here's a doodle I made in class. I'm stealing your clothes as we speak, they're so pretty. I love you. I love your pet. What does your hair look like? I'd love to see that weird leaf. I love you. I'm making you your favorite food. Thank you for holding my secrets for me. I love you. We're having a coffe date. I love you. I'm giving you a screen-sized hug. I love you. I love you. I love you.

I'm totally in a rabbit hole, and I'm about to make the dress tomorrow
Reconstruction of the clothes of women from the Minoan era in Crete (reconstructions made by Dr. Bernice Jones).
The clothes of Minoan women were surprising with their style and variety of patterns. Greek women of later times wore clothes with completely different stylistic solutions. The exposed breasts were a characteristic feature of the dress of Minoan and Mycenaean women. They attached great importance to their attire, wear and used jewelry. They wore a wide and long skirt with a decorative belt tightening the waist and a tight-fitting bra with a metal frame revealing the breasts. They put on coats or capes on cooler days. Hair, intricately combed, was decorated with brown or gold ribbons, beads or headbands. Others wore appropriate headgear. They wore unusual hats. Some were wide, while others were tall, almost completely covering their hair, decorated with feathers or ribbons.
It can be seen at the Hellenistic Museum in Melbourne, Australia. The reconstructions are based on frescoes.

if our body replaces all cells every 7 years, then why tattoo stay?
the simplest version of that answer is- yes, you're right!
the cells containing the tattoo ink DO periodically die and get replaced by new cells, but the reason this doesn't destroy your precious skin art is this- those cells are actually carefully passing the ink particles along to their successors when they kick it, so each new generation of cells picks up the same exact ink particles from their elders in a cycle of inheritance that only ends when you die!
and the long version is, as soon as the tattoo gun fills your arm with ink, your immune system is on top of it; it sends a battalion of white blood cells called macrophages to the area, and they all gobble down the ink in an attempt to break it down and protect you! but. the ink particles are very large, and cannot be broken down by the macrophages, so once an ink particle is engulfed the macrophage that grabbed it is literally just stuck wherever it currently is in your skin and can't go anywhere or do anything else.
this is fine, the cell still gets nutrients and will live a normal macrophage lifespan, it just can't wander off and ruin your ink. but eventually, your trapped ink macrophages WILL die, and when they do they just kind of vomit their captured ink everywhere! whiiiich triggers your body's Intruder Alert defenses and sends a new set of macrophages to the area, who immediately just hork down the SAME DAMN INK PARTICLES and get stuck again. and on and on it goes, ad infinitum!

About the only dance move I can do right now.
Do they? Or do they just know their value?
Farm children learn sex ed early. It doesn't groom them for anything (other than stewardship and land/herd management). I would argue that me (not a farm kid, but critter-adjacent) knowing about animal reproduction made the whole sex thing less interesting to look for. It wasn't taboo and exotic, it was just part of life.
genuinely so fucking tired of people leveraging the "groomer" argument against people who support sex ed because scientific literature over decades shows that comprehensive sex education starting around kindergarten actually prevents children from being sexually abused and groomed because it teaches children the correct words for their body parts and also teaches them concepts of privacy, personal space, bodily autonomy, the difference between appropriate and inappropriate touching, and the fact that sex is something that only adults do. children with this knowledge are not only better equipped to identify abuse and predatory behavior and communicate that its happening to a trusted adult, but also prevent it from happening in the first place by recognizing when something is happening that shouldn't.
sex education does not sexualize children, it prevents children from being sexualized. anyone who is against early foundational sex education and claims they are doing it to protect children is a fucking liar.
That time we had to tell the planner, "A triangle is a shape, not a battle plan." And "Flying W for the loses."

So far I'm still coming out on top. I can do this.
These are amazing. And I need to make them into something subversive and amazing.
Ruthless Rhymes for Martial Militants. These conservative cartoons from ~1913 depicting angry suffragettes as brutal anarchafeminists were somehow actually supposed to make the subjects look bad, instead of amazingly badass.
Let's talk about it. A co-worker said they were worried that there would be discrimination against Russian people in the US (like after 9/11 or pearl harbor, etc). But how would you know they are Russian decent?
Also... there *is* a long history of war in Europe. And I liked this video for some of that regional history.
HELLO, THIS
It's almost like I've forgotten how to set pleats. But it will be fun when it's done.
Imagine just how amazing my playing and dancing would be...
