the most important thing is to be snuggly in bed
this looks like that one COD map a little bit
that’s only like 45 sheep tho
god forbid 5000 year old girls do anything
tbh there’s two types of people: the ones that recognize it’s just a way to relate and the ones that take it as being one-upped.
i’m the first kind idgaf either get mad at me if u want but i’ll either have a relatable scenario to add to the discussion or imma hit u with something like “damn bro that sucks”. bc idk what else to say
this guy asked me to help him find a class one of the first days back and i was like “it’s like right there” and he was like “? someone’s in there and i think it’s another class” and it was another class. because after i personally walked to the room to see, he pointed out that the class was at 10, and it was literally 9:00. like yeah dawg there’s another class in there because yours doesn’t start for an hour, but it’s clearly still room 212.
song goes hard but he loses me when he’s complaining about people on food stamps. id say many consumers of country music, and especially this song, are those who are close to being or are already on food stamps. and it’s true that a lot of people take advantage of WIC or EBT or PEBT but ultimately there’s a lot of people that desperately need it. and the exact people he’s singing about are the people who allow these means of survival to be abused and want them taken away.
just because a system is in desperate need of reform doesnt mean it’s a bad idea. and just because some people on food stamps are deadbeats doesn’t mean they all are. their parents, partner, whoever let them down in life- and now they’re the ones who have to bear shame for needing help from a system that claims to serve that goal.
and there’s more to say as to why someone on food stamps would still be buying fudge rounds instead of the almighty fruit and veg: i know people who live a 30 minute drive from the nearest store (that accepts EBT) with fresh produce. but there’s a non-market Dollar General a five minute walk from the house.
and that’s all i’ll say bc probably no one cares but yeah i like the song and he’s talented but had to come hit us with a white-man line that really reduced the value of the song for me personally. otherwise bop
