I know not many people see my posts or my page or anything but as of right now? I don't give a shit.
If you're pro-life have fun with that right now:) Cause there are a lot of people that are completely against you and will do anything and I mean ANYTHING to let you know that. This is not a threat. It is me telling you to keep an eye out.
I personally am pro-choice. That does NOT mean I am pro-abortion but I'm not against it. They took away our right to a SAFE abortion, not to abortions in general because no matter what there WILL be unsafe ones where people can die and the fetuses ( obviously ) are included. Why should old, white, cis straight men who are gonna die in a few years dictate what we should do with our bodies? I'd doesn't involve them so they don't give a shit what happens. They could be doing this because during covid over a million people died here in the US and they could wanna repopulate us pr they are just being complete jackasses who don't give a shit about the people that are already living and only about the cells that aren't even people yet.
If someone wants an abortion, let them get one! I understand that there will be people that are like "it's not just up to the woman. There is a father too." Okay? is the man ( talking about cis - trans men are men too but this targets cis men ) carrying the fetus? is it the man who has to grow it to be a human body in their stomach? Are they the ones that have to have their stomach cut open or a being pushed out of their vagina? No. Women should be the ones controlling this.
Some people may want to keep the fetus, and some may not. We are entitled to our own choices on what happens with OUR bodies. If you aren't the one carrying it, keep your opinions to yourself unless it's asked for.
Quit worrying about taking our rights from us.
You should be worrying about all the kids in foster care, adoption or orphanages. Take it from someone who was in foster care for 2 years. It is a shit place. So many houses and places will treat you like trash off the street. Adoption and orphanages are worse.
Worry about getting formula and food for the kids we ALREADY have. Worry about giving THOSE kids a better home BEFORE you start worrying about others and THEIR choices with their bodies.
There are going to be some men that think of this as a way to kee a woman to stay with him. THERE WILL BE MEN!! Who will think of this as a loophole to rape! PLEASE! PLEASE WOMEN!! PLEASE KEEP SOME SORT OF WEAPON OR PROTECTION ON YOU AT ALL TIMES!!! Make sure it is legal so you cant get into trouble.
If you plan on illegally leaving the country ( I don't advise ) please be cautious because border control HAS doubled! They can and WILL do anything they have to if it means you stay! Even murder and they can get away with it because they are the only ones that can look into it!

its like they keep forgetting the fact that its possible for us to get pregnant. like i know this is a hard topic for many trans men as it causes dysphoria but its also something that needs to be discussed.
they keep forgetting that the laws that are put in place about abortion rights, reproductive care, etc also affects trans men but they never fucking mention it probably because they dont fucking care to.
if i were living in the a different state, one that has made abortions illegal, and i were to be attacked as a trans man, my rights to abortion would be the exact same as a cisgender woman. we are equally in danger.
because fun fact not all trans men get rid of their eggs. not all trans men want to get that surgery. some trans men actually WANT kids that are made using their eggs. IM one of them. why as a trans man is it expected of me to have that surgery? why do people assume that i want to? why are we never mentioned when it comes to healthcare the same way others are? why are they even BEING gendered? if it were like something someone with a certain sex organ should have then *sure, whatever, but that’s not whats happening here.
nothing should be specified to a gender as people who ARENT WOMEN can get pregnant and do not have access to abortions. people who ARENT MEN can get other people pregnant. lets go back to using gender neutral terms.
*(i also think its weird to have classes based on sex organs alone i personally think that everyone should learn about each organ and how to properly protect yourself and your loved one no matter what organ you have)

Note, I am finding these threads on the twitter feeds of ICU nurses who are now dreading the horrors that Roe falling will bring to their hospitals. This, on top of the horrors that they’ve seen and continue to see because of the pandemic. They were already exhausted and hanging by a thread.

i am so fucking angry that roe v wade got overturned. the GOP is winning and i can't fucking stand it anymore. i am turning 18 this year and i will try my best to get those assholes out of legislature. vote blue or this country will fall.
You don’t have to love abortion. You can dislike it. Maybe it even makes you sad. The way you view abortion is up to you.
And maybe if you don't like abortion, you spend your time advocating for proper sex education, access to birth control and other things that have been shown to lower the types of pregnancies that often result in abortion. That's fine.
But what you shouldn't be doing is disrespecting other people for having abortions. You can't take that choice away from people just because you don't like it. Your feelings aren't more important than anyone else's bodily autonomy.
You don't have to like abortion. But you definitely have to respect other people's rights and that includes their right to safe, accessible, abortions.

A message to everyone who is against Trump in the U.S,; don't give up.
I understand that statement may seem cliche and useless to many people. But everyone needs to understand the significance it holds.
I am heartbroken about the election results in the United States. But I will not stress how important it is to stay strong, and not give up on our democracy. I won't tell you it's not terrifying.
But we can't stop fighting for the rights of ourselves and others. No matter how hopeless it may seem at the moment, we must work together to maintain democracy in America.
If you feel like it's not worth it to keep trying, think of the genocide against the Palestinians, which will only reach new extremes under Trump's presidency (he has said he wants Netanyahu to be even more aggressive and tough on Palestine than he already is being—sit with that for a moment.) the transgender people who won't receive the affirming care they deserve, the people of color who now have nearly no protections against racism and police brutality, the children who won't have access to the education they need, who won't be protected against rapists and gun violence, the people who will not be able to get abortions no matter how dire their situations are, the legal and illegal immigrants who will be deported, the Ukrainians who will now longer have protection from America against the Russian invasion in their country. And there is so much more, so much more that we won't even see coming.
However, we can still do things to make a difference. Go to protests, educate yourself and others, donate to Palestinians/charities that help Palestinians and other people in need, volunteer at organizations that help women travel to different states to have legal safe abortions, flood your congressmen, representatives, mayors, governors, anyone in our government, with letters and complaints.
Use your voice! Remember, you have free speech no matter how much you are made to feel like you don't.
Now is not the time to worry about hurting anyone's feelings or being annoying. Be a bother. Force everyone who is using their power to ignore you and your rights to notice you.
Don't be scared to aggressive as you fight against the fascism that threatens our country. We cannot and will not allow this nation to slip further into hate, homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, white supremacy, xenophobia, misogyny, and anti immigrant ideology any more than it already has.
We cannot afford to be selfish or weak. Even if your state has voted to add protections for women and trans people in their state constitutions, doesn't mean you're safe. Do you think Trump won't do everything he can do outlaw these rights everywhere eventually? Fight and keep fighting. For everyone.
This may seem dramatic to some. I've heard the argument "Trump won't follow through. He's not being serious. He won't actually try to become a dictator", several times. Wake up! He has presented these intentions time and time again. Take his words at face value. He will strip people of their rights, especially if we actively chose to ignore his clearly communicated intentions. Do not think he won't do everything in his power to pass Project 2025 and other hateful, controlling, unconstitutional policies.
Believe it. But also believe in hope. It's easy to feel alone during this time. Remember, however, that there are millions of people behind you, and we can keep it that way if we remind ourselves and each other that we are fighting together and we will not give in.
No matter what, do not give up on our country and every single citizen that still needs our protection and support.

Abortions Debate Pt 2: Are They Really Murder?
Murder (Noun) The unlawful killing of another human being by another
So firstly, is a fetus a human in the womb? Some might say that life starts at conception, but I disagree. I, personally, think that life starts only once the baby is born and has actually taken a breath. A fetus cannot survive outside of the womb up until a certain point. That point is 6 somewhere in between 6 - 7 months. At that point, an abortion could potentially be illegal. That’s just a way of appeasing the pro lifers, to try and please everyone.
When you think about it, at its core, a fetus/embryo (Or a zygote for biological terms at conception) is basically just a clump of cells undergoing a reaction and evolving. The cells start off as one which goes through mitosis to create two, and then that creates, four, and so on, until they differentiate. One could argue that all animals do that, but it doesn’t make sense. When a fetus does it, it is growing new parts. When we do it, we’re simply healing and generating new cells. There’s a difference. A fetus cannot feel pain, does not have an opinion, and does not have any thought processes.
When it’s conceived, and when it’s developing, a fetus could technically be considered a part of the mother. It’s using nutrients from her body, using her body as a host, and so on. Even after birth it still uses her body (Breastmilk).
Religion’s Role
Compare two countries that use religion a lot. Christianity (USA) and Islam (UAE). In Christianity, no matter the circumstance, be it a woman’s life is in danger, or the fetus will be born with fatal deformities, an abortion is murder. However in Islamic countries (UAE for example), an abortion is justified if the mother’s life is endangered by the pregnancy or if the fetus will be born with fatal deformities. When you look at the religious aspect of things, you can’t just look at one. You have to look at multiple.
How Can A Fetus Possibly Consent?
A fetus can’t. A fetus can’t consent, but you’ve also got to consider that at the same time, it can’t ask for anything. If we’re bringing consent into this, then wouldn’t a fetus need to consent to the mother taking vitamin supplements? Vitamin supplements can affect the fetus’s development. So can alcohol and smoking. Doesn’t the fetus need to consent to the mother drinking and smoking too? How does it possibly make sense?
What About Adoption?
Adoption is not a solution. There are thousands of children in foster care, and 25% - 40% of them are abused. If a woman got an abortion instead of condemning a child to a life of foster care where they’re more likely to be abused than adopted, which one is more morally correct? In 2019, only 26% of children in foster care were adopted, and that number has been steadily decreasing, with the abuse rates increasing. Not to mention, studies show that youth in foster care are two and a half times more likely to contemplate suicide than youth not in foster care. If abortion is murder, if it does take a life, all it does is speed up the process. If a woman gives birth to a child and puts them up for foster care, only for them to kill themselves 10 -15 years later, thinking that they’re unloved, what’s the difference? You’re still condemning them to death. So pro lifers need to ask, which is better? Foster care or abortion?
Whose Choice Is It Really? The Fetus’s Or The Mother?
We need to ask, why is it that an unborn human being has more rights than a human being with family, friends, a job, people they love, etc.? Why does bodily autonomy apply for one person instead of both? In the end, who is more affected? If the fetus is aborted, what does it lose? Emotionally? The fetus has no friends, no emotional connections, etc. The mother on the other hand has everything to lose. If she can’t financially support a child, what happens? She could end up on the streets. What about emotional support? The child will end up with a distant parent. In the end, the topic of abortions affects the women more than the fetus.

Abortions and Birth Control
Where to start with this?
Firstly, men who say "Women who were irresponsible enough to be pregnant need to take responsibility." are idiots. A man helps to create a baby too. By that logic, a man should take responsibility for a baby too. If a woman is forced to raise a child that she doesn't want, then a man shouldn't be allowed to leave her while she's pregnant. And the quote "Women who were irresponsible enough to be pregnant need to take responsibility." doesn't even begin to touch on the topic of women who were raped, women who's partners slipped the condom out halfway through, women who's birth control failed. What if a woman's life is at risk with the pregnancy? Women have a heartbeat too. And people who say that women can just get their tubes tied are big fat uneducated morons.
Women have had experiences when they went to have their tube tied where their healthcare provider would ask things like "Oh, but what about your husband?" "Are you married?" "What if your husband wants kids?" "What if you regret it?" and are told things like "You're too young." "You'll regret it.". There are so many obstacles standing in the way of women trying to get their tubes tied compared to men getting a vasectomy. When women get their tubes tied, there are also hormonal side effects. When men get a vasectomy, there's NO hormonal side effects. But the hormones side of things is just basic biology, there's no arguing that. But, for whatever reason, birth control is pushed onto women. It only takes 24 hours to recover from a vasectomy whereas it takes 1 - 3 weeks to recover from getting your tubes tied. And yet, men will refuse vasectomies but pressure women to get their tubes tied or get a hysterectomy. And if a woman is pregnant, people only care while the baby is in her womb.
People don't care about the baby once a woman gives birth. A prime example of this is how pro lifers push for abortions to be banned because "A fetus is a human." And "Abortions are murder.". Like, bitch, a fetus is a ball of cells. They don't even have pain receptors until the fourth month of pregnancy. And how are abortions murder? And you only care about the baby while it's in the womb. Once it's out, you don't give a shit. If all lives matter, what about the black lives? What about the thousands of kids in foster care who are being raped and abused daily? No one bats an eye. If you really think all lives matter, then you should also help kids in foster care and homeless people. What about the people who can't afford a hospital or treatment for something such as cancer? What about them?
My opinion is: Abortions should be made widely accessible to women. It should be a woman's choice if she gets an abortion or not. She should not be denied basic healthcare.

as a girl in america, i am frightened the end of roe vs. wade. i am devastated, i am angry, i am exhausted. i'm probably not the only one feeling this way, i can imagine. and you are every bit allowed and justified to feel this way.
i guess i just want to say, that far too often, our emotions are portrayed as just another emotional woman, just another crazy person. but we're not crazy to feel this way, at all.
so before you channel your anger into resources, protests, bills, funds and more, please take a moment to yourself. i know that it seems like everything is falling apart, and it might be, but life is too short for your justified feelings to fester inside yourself. let yourself cry, let yourself scream, let yourself feel those emotions that you are allowed to feel without being crazy, horrible, lazy or emotional. you are none of those things.
and perhaps, when the dust has settled and you have let out your feelings, i hope you can feel a little bit better, before we jump back into the fight for our rights.
Republicans are the type of people to want a woman dead for aborting a 1 day old fetus that was going to grow up in an abusive foster home and then starve to death after aging out of the system, but will tell you to put down your dog if it stubbed its toe
