"i brought you flowers." "for what?" "there has to be a reason?"

you were making dinner when you heard the front door open. today was jack’s day off and you asked him to run to the store because you ran out of a few ingredients.

“babe they didn’t have the brand of pasta you liked so i just got these.” he said putting the bag of things on the kitchen counter next to you.

“aww it’s okay thank you for getting everything.” you said as you took his hand and pulled him into you. “whatcha got there?”you asked when you saw a bag behind him.

“oh i got you these!” he said with a big smile on his face. he shoved a big bouquet of flowers in your face. “well damn.” you giggled and took a look at the bouquet.

“thank you but why ?” you asked looking up at him, “why what?” he raised his brow at you slightly. “why did you buy these? did i miss something? it isn’t even valentines day yet?” you questioned.

he laughed at you and shoved your head to the side. “dummy i don’t need a reason to give you flowers. i saw them and thought of you.” he said grabbing the back of your neck and kissing your forehead. you pouted at him and grabbed a vase to put your flowers in.

How to use reverse psychology to get your desires

Hey y’all, this is for the people who feel utterly exhausted by their spiritual journey. Whether you’re struggling to manifest your dreams, tapping into the void state, or lucid dreaming every night, I totally get it. But you can use your frustration to your advantage.

So, I’ve been really into reverse psychology and that’s what this “technique” is. For those of you who feel stuck or frustrated, this might be just what you need. Your annoyance could actually become your greatest ally.

Keep complaining. Script it out, affirm it, vent it to your friends, but just the opposite of what you’re already saying. Say things like "Ugh I'm so tired of always easily slipping into the void state" or "If I lucid dream one more time, I'm going to lose my mind!".

Here's an example of how you can do it:

"Bruh, I'm so done with waking up in the void state. Each morning is the same story - I'm tired of it! And let's not even talk about how I lucid dream every single night. It's exhausting being conscious all the time, and it's starting to annoy me and tire me out. I just want one peaceful night without lucid dreaming or getting into the void state. Is that too much to ask? I can’t even escape the void state with lucid dreaming!”

You can apply this same principle to shifting as well. Express your frustration:

"Why does my subconscious always feel the need to wake me up in my dr 🙄For once, I want to focus on my cr. If I wake up in my dr one more time, I swear... Can't my subconscious for once let me wake up in my cr?"

Even visualize yourself waking up in your normal bed and plead with your subconscious to let you wake up in your cr for once.Channel your current frustration into not waking up in your dr to always doing it. You should end up feeling frustrated when you actually go to bed, trying to NOT be successful for once.

Make it realistic too. honestly? I'm just so tired of shifting with ease. It's gotten to the point where it feels mundane. There was a time when struggling with the void state was actually exciting, it kept things interesting at least. I know this might come off as a "ugh, I'm too pretty everyone hates me" pick-me-girl moment, but seriously, I could do with a little less success in the shifting department. Y’all wouldn’t understand how hard it is to be successful 24/7. Genuinely be annoying about it lol.

So, go ahead. Complain. Vent. Be frustrated. You’re way too successful with manifesting and shifting and need a break. I get it, shut up. We don’t care.👍

boss katsuki in his agency ordering people around and overseeing work. always wears a black t-shirt with his name printed in his breast (his merch), chunky black boots that make him an extra inch taller and his black cargos as his uniform while everyone else is in office attire. lots of pointing and snapping demands and reading through documents and looking at graphs on screen. all the interns and his workers are a little terrified of him, they try to say the just right amount to get a decent response before pottering off to continue.

and you seeing this all, entering a room from the back and he hasn’t noticed you yet. he’s frowning, like usual as him and two other people check a map and he literally towers over them. biceps thick and tight in his t-shirt with his tattoos sneaking down his arm. you can see the tattoo of your birth flower on the back of his forearm at this angle and the ownership makes you smile a little.

though your boyfriend always has a second sense when it comes to you. after thirty seconds his head jolts up and looks right at you. you don’t know how he does it, the room is packed and busy in the dark minus desk laps and the screen all around. you know if you told him he’d mutter something like, “it’s ‘cause we’re fuckin’ soulmates baby.” and perhaps that might be true.

he stomps over to you, never liking you being around his work because of all the violence and graphic details. you can barely handle when you know he’s in the hospital for a check up let alone knowing what he’s about to fight. he tries not to show much pda at work, he doesn’t want his team to see him so loved up and getting babied by you when they equally need to respect him. he does kiss you though as a hello, then puts his hand on your jaw to look at you properly, “have you not been sleepin’?”

you slap his hand off you, “are you saying i look like shit?”

he huffs a laugh, always amused by how quick you are to jump at him, “no, i’m sayin’ you look tired. y’can have a nap in my office if you want. i’ll wake you when it’s time for lunch.” you just look at him for a few seconds, his eyes flicking over you for any issues, always flooded with care. then his hand slips from your face to your hand to play with your fingers. “and for the record, i never think you look like shit. y’know i always think you’re beautiful, baby.”

you’re lost in him like always, wanting him to wrap his arms around you in a cuddle when someone walks over. it’s the guy who takes care of the finance side or something, you don’t really know. “dynamight! i’ve rounded the numbers and—,”

everyone loves you around the agency. not speaking to many people but always smiling and nodding a polite hello. you’re also so pretty most people do stop to get a quick glance and often wondering, how the fuck did dynamight get her?

“o-oh yn! didn’t see you there, h-hi,” he stumbles, and he’s cute. a little young and small, definitely nothing compared to katsuki. he holds his clipboard to his chest, completely forgotten about the prohero he needed to talk to and nervous around you. honestly he should still be nervous of bakugou.

“the fuck are you doin’?,” bakugou looks him up and down incredulously and the man suddenly remembers him, “i’m clearly busy.”

the man’s eyes drift from you to bakugou and his face flushes in embarrassment, “oh yes, yes sir. sorry.”

when he scatters off, bakugou turns back to you with a clenched jaw though you giggle, lightly slapping his chest.

“you’re so mean.”

“why’s he lookin’ at you like that? i’m fuckin’ talkin’ to you and he’s interruptin’.” he grunts, fingers tightening around yours.

“be a little nicer to them, they’re working hard baby,” you smile, reaching up to kiss his cheek, “i’m gonna have a nap in your office though. get me when you want a break.”

what you both fail to notice is how everyone in the room, all thirty people who dynamight is supposed to be tending to and looking over aren’t doing any work at all in this moment. sure, their hands are flicking through random papers to look busy but really they’re staring at you both. the fluttering touches bakugou leaves at your waist and how he delicately (who uses this word to describe the hero?) plays with your fingers. how there’s so much being said with your eyes; how the black of his pupils expand when they stare at you and how your eyes squint when you smile at him.

“wanna go with you now. they’re all fuckin’ useless here,” he sighs, not even bothering to lower his tone around said people.

you tilt your head, taking in his grumpy furrowed eyebrows and tight black top across his chest, “one hour and come get me.”

bakugou firmly nods, licking his bottom lip, “fine. love you.”

you hum, reluctantly letting go of his hand, “love you too. be nice.”

“no.”
