Request: what about a fluff / angst one shot where reader and tom get into a fight and tom sleeps in guest bedroom but in middle of night reader goes to join tom in the bed and he’s confused and she’s like “im still mad at you but i missed you” and they cuddle and fall back asleep
Warnings: Angst? Little bit of fluff, if you really search for it? Language
Word Count: 1550
A/N: What happens when Hannah has a really shitty couple of days? She writes equally shitty angst. Anyways, here is some angst that may not actually be as angsty as anticipated.
Masterlist
Anger is the most impotent of passions. It affects nothing it touches and hurts the one who is possessed by it more than the one against whom it was directed. Both you and Tom had an unspoken understanding of this without really knowing so. But still, anger was easily passed between the two of you with careless words and meaningless remarks.
There was little to no reasoning between the uneasy tension between you and Tom. In fact, you weren’t even sure if you could remember why you were arguing. Nonetheless, you were still upset and so was Tom. And that was why, you figured, Tom had chosen to sleep in the guest bedroom instead of the bedroom he shared with you. It was hurtful for the both of you but neither of you were in the right mind to make rational decisions.
You blamed it on stress. Tom had a lot of pressure piled onto his shoulders and you were sure there wasn’t enough time for you to juggle work and your college assignments. Maturity and common sense were important in situations like these and this is what prompted you not to go chasing after Tom when he made his way to the guest room. He was angry and he needed space, that you understood. Of course, you were angry too but you weren’t as far gone as your boyfriend.
There was an ache in your chest when you thought of the argument you had just put to rest between you and Tom. It wasn’t an argument you thought was not worth anything more than the shake of a head but there was so much piled up tension that you both just had to get out of your systems. And this seemed to be the perfect outlet.
Of course, Tom had still crossed some lines. There were definitely things that fell from his mouth which were totally uncalled for. You understood that all of this was coming from anger and stress but that didn’t mean you weren’t upset about it. And you weren’t going to deny it; it did fuel the frustration you were feeling.
“We were doomed from the beginning.” he had said, running a hand through his already tousled hair. “Bloody hell, I wish I’d never met you!”
“You don’t mean that-”
Tom shook his head, glaring at you as he threw his arms up in exasperation. He had cut you off before you could finish your sentence. “Would have saved me so much wasted time and effort!”
It was easier for you to put your foot down and end the conversation than it was for you to hold back the tears that formed in your eyes. And that was no easy feat either. Tom wasn’t oblivious to the hurt expression that crossed your features but in a moment of selfishness, he made no attempt to apologise and explain so that his pride wouldn’t be dented.
Nonchalantly, you changed into clothes that were more comfortable for you to sleep in. Despite the chill in the air, you gulped down a glass of cold water in an effort to calm the heat that burned your skin. You set down the empty glass once finished and made yourself comfortable in the bed you usually shared with Tom.
It felt almost unreal this time. Sure, this was not the first time you had argued but it seemed to hit harder than the times before. Biting your lip to stop it from quivering, you squeezed your eyes shut and tried to calm yourself down so that you could sleep peacefully. Crying yourself to sleep is a one-way ticket to waking up with a headache at best. You were lucky if it wasn’t a migraine.
But it wasn’t working as well as you’d like. Tears still managed to slip down to your pillow, a few pooling in the dip where your eyes met your nose because you were laying on your side. Your jaw kept on clenching and unclenching as you thought about the way Tom had spoken to you only an hour earlier.
“Just-why do you have to be such a fucking pain all the time?” Tom had groaned, wiping his hands down his face.
“Why do I have to be such a pain?”
“Yes!” He almost yelled, his voice dripping with a venom you didn’t know Tom possessed. “All you do is make things worse for me!”
Wondering where the argument had come from and where it had gone so terribly wrong, you noticed that your breaths became uneven. There was a lump that had grown in your throat and you were sure you were trembling as if you were cold. And you were cold but you were not that cold. It was because you were hurting and you knew you wouldn’t stop hurting until you heard Tom take back the things he had said.
It was much out of character for Tom to speak to you like that. He wasn’t usually aggressive with you, even if he was tired or if he had a particularly rough day on set. Usually, he kept his work life and his domestic life separate and never let his frustrations come home with him. Today must have been an exception.
No matter how upset you were with him, you still missed the familiar body that would be pressed up against you at this time of night. Once again, you ignored the discomfort you felt in the pit of your stomach. It would go away on its own, you thought, soon enough. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem as if it were going away.
Shaky breaths left your lips as you stared wide-eyed at the wall beside your bed. You were tired. So damn tired so why couldn’t you sleep? It was frustrating, if anything, that you weren’t able to fall asleep. Your eyes stung with fatigue and you rubbed at them with your fists to try and extinguish the discomfort. If Tom were here, you remembered, he wouldn’t have let you do that. He was always adamant that rubbing your eyes would always make the problem worse.
Letting out a noise of distaste, you pushed yourself off of the bed and through the door to your shared bedroom. Your bare feet padded down the small hallway and towards the guest room without your consent. Cursing yourself out for doing so, you just stared at the closed door in front of you. Tom was asleep, that you were sure of. The sound of muffled yet drowsy breaths that only came from him when he was sleeping were just barely audible if you strained your ears.
Shaking your head, you turned away from the room, ready to get back into your own bed without Tom to help you fall asleep. But then you turned back around. Was it really worth it? Besides, you didn’t want to wake up to any awkward tension between the two of you. This would at least tame said tension a little bit.
Before you could have any more doubts, you pushed the door open quietly and stepped in slowly. Being careful not to make too much noise, you closed the door softly. Tom was a light sleeper, you had come to learn. And the last thing you wanted to do was wake him up and have to talk to him. All you needed was to fall asleep and Tom was the only person that could help you achieve that goal.
Trying not to shift the sheets around your boyfriend too much, you peeled them back enough for you to slip underneath them. Making sure that there was enough space for you to fit in beside him without too much discomfort. The bed was definitely smaller and it didn’t do much to help that Tom was sprawled out smack bang in the middle of it. Chuckling at the sight of Tom’s cheek squished against the mattress just below the pillow, you quietly and carefully slid into the spot beside him.
When you were finally happy under the sheets, you slowly inched closer to him. Cautiously, as not to wake him, you moved his limbs so that he didn’t resemble a starfish and so that you could comfortably lie against him. Tom’s lips drowsily curled into a smile in his sleep and he shifted at the warmth that came from your body.
Your attempts at not waking him up had failed but Tom didn’t let you know that he was no longer asleep. He was sure you were going to leave if you knew he was awake. But still, he wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you closer to him. You felt him bury his nose into your neck.
“I’m still mad at you,” you mumble, just to make sure that he understood he wasn’t off the hook until he apologised. He sighed. Everything about him screamed ‘sleepy’ but he didn’t let his disrupted slumber hold him back from speaking.
With a husky and sleep filled voice, Tom said, “I didn’t mean what I said.”
“I know,” you replied, refusing to turn around and face him.
“I love you.”
You hummed, your eyes fluttering shut as you finally welcomed the sleep that was pulling both you and Tom away from consciousness. “Love you too.”
Hunter’s fine. He’s fine. He’s absolutely ok.

Super curious to know what your version of live action Anakin & Obi-Wan look like 🙏🏼 #request
It’s super strange to draw their live action versions lol I’m definitely not used to it and need more practice with them 😅 but yeah, here you go?
and i just watched bullet train again so the pose and background reference is from there :D
i'm begging you guys to start pirating shit from streaming platforms. there are so many websites where you can stream that shit for free, here's a quick HOW TO:
1) Search for: watch TITLE OF WORK free online
2) Scroll to the bottom of results. Click any of the "Complaint" links
3) You will be taken to a long list of links that were removed for copyright infringement. Use the 'find' function to search for the name of the show/movie you were originally searching for. You will get something like this (specifics removed because if you love an illegal streaming site you don't post its url on social media)
4) each of these links is to a website where you can stream shit for free. go to the individual websites and search for your show/movie. you might have to copy-paste a few before you find exactly what you're looking, but the whole process only takes a minute. the speed/quality is usually the same as on netflix/whatever, and they even have subtitles! (make sure to use an adblocker though, these sites are funded by annoying popups)
In conclusion, if you do this often enough you will start recognizing the most dependable websites, and you can just bookmark those instead. (note: this is completely separate from torrenting, which is also a beautiful thing but requires different software and a vpn)
you can also download the media in question (look for a "download" button built into the video window, or use a browser extension such as Video DownloadHelper.)

I don’t want Crosshair to have an Anakin Skywalker redemption arc.
I want Crosshair to have a Bucky Barnes recovery arc.
I don’t want Crosshair to do a bunch of dark, evil things, get the chip out or have a change of heart or realize what he’s doing is wrong, do one good thing or save someone’s life, and then die for it.
I want Crosshair to do a bunch of dark, evil things, get the chip out or break through the chip and realize what he’s doing it wrong, do something good and/or save someone’s life, and then survive to have to deal with the repercussions and face the consequences.
Not legal consequences. Crosshair is, at the end of the day, a victim of the Empire. He’s being mind controlled. He’s been brainwashed. He’s been Winter Soldier-ed.
Yes, he’s killing civilians. He’s hunting his brothers. He’s hurting people. He’s ruining lives. He’s killing people. But his actions are not his fault. He’s just the puppet, the Empire is pulling his strings. He has no control. He’s being forced to commit these crimes. However… he’s still the one doing them. And he has to face the emotional repercussions of doing that. He has to redeem himself to the people he hurt in able to recover from that trauma.
I could go on and on about the parallels between Crosshair in just the first 3 episodes alone, and the Winter Soldier. There are direct, scene for scene parallels between the two characters. I want so desperately for them to continue that trend.
To talk about Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier for a second: obviously, Bucky is not to blame for what he did during his time as the Winter Soldier. Hydra was the one in control - they tortured him, they hooked him up machines and wiped his mind, they took away his free will, they made him fight and kill and torture strangers, friends, foes, the guilty, the innocent, civilians, criminals, politicians, etc. As an audience we know this, we understand it and we sympathize with him.
But… he still did all those things.
One of my favorite Bucky scenes (and honestly probably the scene that really made me fall in love with him) was in Captain America Civil War when Bucky and Steve are on the quinjet to Siberia to fight the other Winter Soldiers.
Bucky: I don't know if I'm worth all this, Steve.
Steve: What you did all those years... it wasn't you. You didn't have a choice.
Bucky: I know. But I did it.
Bucky is able to acknowledge that while he didn't have any control over his actions and what he did, he still did bad things to innocent people. And those innocent people are still going to look at Bucky and see the man who caused them pain, hurt, and suffering. Sure, they might understand logically that he wasn't in control, that he wasn't the one who did those things. But we don't always think rationally when we are angry and scared and hurt.
We can see this later in Siberia when Tony attacks Bucky. Immediately after watching the video he turns to Bucky. We can see the resigned look on Bucky's face. Bucky understands. He understands that in that moment, Tony isn't thinking rationally. He is thinking with his emotions. And his emotions are blinding him, in that moment, to the fact that it wasn't Bucky who did those things, but Hydra using Bucky's body as a puppet. "It wasn't him, Tony." "I don't care. He killed my mom." Was Tony right to attack Bucky? No. Did Bucky deserve it? No. But we can see on Bucky's face right before the fight starts that he understands why Tony is doing it and honestly? Probably doesn't blame him. He understands that even though he wasn't in control when he killed Tony's parents, he still did it. He still caused Tony real pain that doesn't pay attention to things like fairness or blame. All Tony can see is Bucky's hands killing his mom, and they both have to face the emotional repercussions of that.
Another great (and less discourse-y) example of this is in Falcon and the Winter Soldier. We see Bucky continue to have to face the emotional repercussions of his time as the Winter Soldier. He's making amends for his actions and working through the psychological pain of it. He may not have been in control when he killed Yori's son, but it was still his hands that pulled the trigger. That is why he's so afraid to tell Yori the truth through the whole series. He thinks he's protecting Yori from the pain of knowing what happened to his son by not telling him, when in actuality he is protecting himself from that pain of what Yori might think of him after Bucky tells him. He's aware enough to know that Yori might hate him, never speak to him again, that he might lose a friend. Because while he wasn't in control when he shot Yori's son, at the end of the day, he died by Bucky's hands. Yori's son is still dead because of Bucky. It's not fair, but sometimes life isn't always rainbows and butterflies with a fairy tale ending.
Back to the Bad Batch: I want Crosshair to get his chip out and go back to the Batch and have to face the repercussions of what he did with the Empire. I want the Bad Batch to be distrustful of Crosshair at first. I want Crosshair to be afraid to be left alone with Omega. I want Crosshair to not trust his own mind. I want Crosshair to be hurt or get frustrated after the 15th time he moves too suddenly and Tech flinches. I want Crosshair to have nightmares. I want Crosshair to have to recover from his own trauma while also redeeming himself after the trauma he caused the Batch. Not just... die. Sometimes recovery and redemption is messy and ugly. But it's necessary and it's more interesting narratively than killing him off.
Do I think the show is going to do this? No. It's a children's show and they've already shown they aren't going that deep into the emotionality of everything. I just think this would be a much more interesting and complex way to carry on Crosshair and the Bad Batch's storyline while also providing opportunity for character development in the Batch outside of Hunter and Omega. They've already shown they know how to write a redemption arc - they managed to write a redemption arc for Kallus successfully and, while I love Kallus, he did work for the Empire and commit war crimes and participate in genocide of his own volition without a chip in his brain. If they can do it for Kallus, they can do it for Crosshair.
If they kill Crosshair off I'm going to be genuinely angry because it seems like such a waste of character and also a waste of good content and character development for the entire Bad Batch going forward. With the confirmation of season 2, I don't think they're going to kill him (yet). Right now my worst fear is that they'll get the chip out and he'll stay with the Empire or he'll reveal the chip has been kaput for months and he's doing all this because he wants to, which would make no sense based on what we've seen of him in season 7 of tcw and throughout this show. But that's for a different post. I guess we'll see with tomorrow's episode.
mr 'we're smarter than this' Tech vs 'I'm so done with you' Crosshair
I don't know why people say the plot of tbb is more interesting if Crosshair doesn't have his chip. I mean think of all the MEMES
Crosshair unable to directly tell them he's being mind controlled and dropping subtle hints only to faceplam through his skull when they fly over the batch's heads like
Crosshair: *grips his head*
Hunter: I see nothing.
Crosshair, internally: oh my god you daft KRIFFING BI-
