Okay so if you’re anything like me you see those lists of au ideas floating around and you like them but when it comes time to write something and you need an idea you have no idea what you tagged them as or if they’re buried somewhere in your likes so….have a list of some of the ones I’ve come across! You shifted uncomfortably in your seat again, glancing down at the dim screen of your phone for the time. Minutes had dragged on into hours, and now you were convinced that time had stopped altogether.

Seated behind the soundboard and its rainbow of buttons and knobs, you looked on as the sound producers carefully listened to Harry’s vocals, adjusting things as he sang through the chorus of a new song for the umpteenth time. It was just him in the booth now, as Mitch and Adam had already recorded a majority of their tracks, and the girls were working in another studio to mix their harmonies for Harry.

It was nothing more than a normal day at the studio.

A very dull day, you decided.

You’d woken up that morning with a itch in your tummy you knew only Harry could help solve, that he could reach, but he’d already bounded out of bed at the sound of his alarm, eager to get in and “get working.” The usual tricks you played to get him to stay in bed just a little longer had failed to work (even batting your eyelashes and smiling sleepily, pretending to be so pure hadn’t phased him), and you were left with a buzz inside of you that would only prove to be more distracting as the day progressed.

So now you sat there, watching him sing to his heart’s content, cosy in an oversized jumper and a bit of scruff on his chin. Harry’s eyes were closed, lost in the melodies he’d written out straight from his heart, and the look on his face was absolutely cruel.

Though his outfit was more relaxed than he left most see him in, his hands were faithfully dotted with rings and rudely exaggerated the veins running through them. It was as if he’d chosen them specifically to frustrate you from a distance and was playing innocent just to see how far he could push you.

He flashed a few smiles your way throughout the process, looking amused with himself after each take. You played along, giving your best grins back and even a cheesy thumbs up at one point, but you didn’t know how much longer you’d be able to sit here and watch him looking like that.
