WOWOW!???!!??
anyways
Super awesome Fruitbowl trivia !
Even tho I don't want it to be explicitly tied to his gender, Fruitbowl's ability to change forms (outfits...???) does (by extension) represent gender identity !! Fruitbowl has three forms, to represent masculinity, femininity, and androgyny respectively. At least that's partially what they represent - outright they're more supposed to show & change based on how Fruitbowl feels.
His changing of forms is not something he can control. It started at some point, and it's been happening ever since, he can't stop it.
A majority of Fruitbowl's miniature bit of lore revolves in some way around identity as a whole. Before he started randomly changing forms, he sort of lacked a sense of self. He was just "a medicine seller", doing his job, what more would there be?
While the forms themselves felt a lot more comfortable to him than his former look, he thought of it as something shameful and out of order. He felt like a part of him he'd been desperately trying to keep alive had just been brutally killed off, replaced by something completely out of his control. (Teehee now I get to draw Fruitbowl dramatically holding his past form.........)
The start of him changing forms allowed and basically pushed him into actual self expression and simply realizing he actually has things to express..!!!! It took a while for him to adjust to, but it's something he holds very dear now....
Silly dude !!!!!
Allowing myself to geek out over non-fandom ocs..
(TW ; mentions of non-con & abuse(?)/severely unhealthy relationships)
Some background before I fully rant on
I have this little world somewhat set up and the deities there work like this :
Representative gods - Representatives are immortal beings who, while being very powerful and considered Gods by mortals, aren't actually fully in charge of what they represent. They can be chosen both my mortals (/religion) or divine cores to be the representatives of certain things e.g. sleep, death, etc.
Divine cores - Divine cores are the very concepts of different things personified. They can be found in either conscious forms as living beings or inanimate objects (these happened during a phase in the world where the divine cores were oppressed and hunted down by the world's first gods, they weren't recognized as gods themselves at that point). They can, with enough power, be forced into taking form as objects which can be used to claim their power as the user's own. Divine cores can exist for nearly anything and everything, though they are limited to mortals and their beliefs manifesting them.
Celestials - Celestials are considered Gods & a lot of them have roles as representatives. They are the souls connected to things such as stars & moons. Celestials can, much like divine cores, be forced into object form.
First generation gods - the first gods are a specific group made up of 7 immortals created by the personifications of Life, Death, Fate and Time (The primordials). The planet that the stories in this world takes place on was originally a gift to them specifically, a place for them to live. This was later changed when the Primordials chose to start creating more life.
Dragons - Dragons were created exclusively by the Primordial Life, and are still Life's favorite creations. There aren't many of them, mostly because power-wise they are ranked first below the Primordials, being essentially the second strongest beings in existence. Each dragons represents a different aspect of life.
Nature's spirits - Not deemed significant enough to be titled as gods, Nature's spirits are immortal beings with power who simply never managed to either gain enough mortal recognition to become proper representative gods or simply weren't deemed worthy by other gods.
First victim of infodump ! Kieran/Roe, personification of decay.
Kieran is the son of the (celestial pantheon's) goddess of motherhood (a star) and the divine core of decay. He was conceived through less than consensual ways, hence why his mother couldn't get herself to raise him. She left him out in the woods at the base of her pantheon's home mountain, where he was later found & saved by the personifications of sleep, hunting, and animals. He was raised by sleep, from whom he got the name Roe. Due to reoccurring threats from nearby forest spirits against Sleep, who was part of the celestial pantheon at that point in time, Sleep was escorted from the mortal realm down to the underworld where he would be under the protection of that realms ruler for his own safety. Sleep wasn't allowed to take Roe with him, which is why Roe was left behind in one of sleep's old temples, where he was later discovered by Phoebe, the Sun's second son and at the time god of prophecy.
Roe & Phoebe!! ↑
Roe never properly learned to speak by that point, which is why Phoebe ended up renaming him Kieran because he couldn't find out the little guy's name.
Phoebe ended up staying with Kieran in Sleep's temple. He did this not because he actually bonded with Kieran, or even because he felt bad for him, but rather because he could tell that Kieran was the future god of decay. A prophecy he clung to at the time was that, using Kieran's power, he'd be able to make other celestials mortal and vulnerable. Phoebe wished to have this power because, out of all of his siblings, he was always the one most neglected. His elder brother & sister were their father's closest advisor & second in command respectively, meanwhile Phoebe was essentially completely ignored. He wanted to have just as much, if not even more power and influence as his siblings had and he wanted other gods to finally respect him. His plan was to do this by overthrowing his father and taking his place as ruler of their pantheon.
All stars have wings, and Kieran would inevitably, once he finally discovered his full potential and powers in a situation that was more than stressful (an attempt by Phoebe to overthrow his father, which Kieran was dragged into because by that point he'd become utterly attached to phoebe) finally discover his own wings.. only to then have them instantly ripped out by nobody other than Phoebe, who used the fact that they now essentially worked the same way as some magical artifacts, to weaken his father and force him into taking the form of a sword, which Phoebe would of course claim as his own weapon. He proceeded to stab Kieran, since he deemed his powers too big of a threat now that he'd betrayed him and tossed him right off of the celestial pantheon's mountain.
Timeskip ahead to ages later, Phoebe does manage to keep up his position as ruler of the celestial pantheon, using the sword he'd turned his father into.
Kieran however, managed to live through his injuries, and decided to interpret Phoebe's betraying him as Phoebe not wishing to stay with him because he believed Kieran to be too weak... so after improving on this issue, Kieran decided to confront Phoebe again. This ended with Phoebe realizing that he really couldn't defeat Kieran in terms of power and, since Kieran decided the best way for him to prove his power was by threatening violence against Phoebe if he tried to leave, he'd probably have to manipulate his way out of this.
Their relationship is anything but healthy. Phoebe keeps Kieran around, declares him his partner for no other reason than to ensure his own safety. Later on also because he realizes Kieran is quite useful as a bodyguard & weapon. He vents his frustrations over his own situation by putting as much pressure on Kieran as he can. He constantly questions Kieran's love for him, does anything and everything in his power to make Kieran more and more insecure which just leads to Kieran clinging to him even more.
Kieran stays with Phoebe because he has a massive fixation, borderline obsession with him. Phoebe was the second person in his life who cared for him and then ended up abandoning him, and Kieran wasn't going to sit back and let that happen like he had when Sleep had left him. He is deathly afraid of being abandoned like this again, and therefore either makes sure to do absolutely anything Phoebe tells him to do in an attempt to keep him happy, or straight up threatens him to "show off how powerful and worthy he is of affection". They both have to get therapy. Separately and wayyy far away from each other.
Kieran fun fact ! In canon, there is a huge debate on whether he should, as the god of decay, be considered a god falling under death's court or life's court. This debate is mainly lead among the dragons.
Dragons! This is the dragon considered the leader among dragons, representing the inevitably of death and how it's practically just another part of life.
Bits of dragon trivia: In their human forms, all dragons have fancy hats/headdresses. These are actually the only pieces of clothing they wear. The rest is simply their bodies morphed into looking like clothing. Each of the dragons have a different type of sword. They don't actually use these in combat, and rather as a symbol of status.
Anele, dragon representative of death's inevitability.
Based on capability of killing, Anele is the most powerful amongst the dragons. They are however also a sort of jab from Life at Death, considering that what they represent is Death being a part of life and therefore not worthy of being it's own being. Anele lives in a large cave near one of the mortal realms entrances to the underworld, occasionally acting as a guard for it when they're bored.
Aion, the dragon representing utter absence of death.
Aion is a straight up insult against death. He believes that death shouldn't be a thing, that it is nothing but a disgrace to life's magnificence. Aion has the ability to make any being absolutely untouchable, unreachable to death. Death expands through mortal beings dying, Aion can chip away at Death's existence by removing it from deceased beings. He could technically do this in a larger quantity, but Life itself doesn't allow this.
Zoya, dragon representative of life's cruelty/merciless nature.
Zoya was formerly a daughter of the celestial representative of death, a demigod on a journey to meet her father and become a goddess herself. On this journey she ended in a village being terrorized by the dragon of cruelty, and decided to fight it in an attempt to save the village people. During this fight, Zoya died, but due to her family relations to one of death's representatives, the dragon was killed the moment it came into contact with her after her death (She died being in it's maw). Life was of course angered at the death of one of their dragons, and decided that Zoya would be taking the place of this dragon as punishment for her actions.
Dragon swords!!!
Yap OVER!!! Nvm if there's any misspellings or autocorrect mistakes pls I'm half asleep ... there would be so many more drawings here but augh image limit
✦ Childhood ✦
Koren was born in Hoenn, after Eilara, Amia, Yuki and Koy and before Emi, Yuriko, Meris & Reira, making him the total middle child. He's Koy's twin and the only boy among his sisters. When he was born, his mother was extremely disappointed that he was a boy, which ended up translating into neglect. His older siblings were usually the ones taking care of him, since in his mother's eyes he was a disgrace only for his gender.
As years passed, small mishaps would happen and Koren’s mother slowly grew convinced that he was a curse to their family. He didn't know how to convince his mother he was just a child obviously, causing even his sisters to turn against him at one point. The only one who didn't believe their mother's delusional bullshitting was Koy Σ(゜゜)
One time, while Koy and Koren were out playing together, Reira ended up dying because she basically flew down a cliff. (ow.) And in her fury, Koren's mother blames it on him and makes him and Koy back up, throwing them both out! She tells them to go away, to a different country because she's tired of being cursed by this “child of pure evil” as she constantly refers to him. Koy takes Koren's and her things and they move to Unova.
✦ Teenage ✦
After arriving in Unova, Koy tries to apply to all sorts of jobs, only to be rejected since they're both only 15. They manage to get by with pickpocketing And what-not, until someone from Team Plasma saw them, felt obligated and took the two in.
Koy is ecstatic about this, since their new adoptive parent is very caring (more like, indoctrinating them to team plasma's views) and is eager to join Team Plasma fully. Koren on the other hand remains skeptical, but it doesn't take long for him to be manipulated too,,
The two join Team Plasma once they're both 16 and Koren just has a love at first sight internal gay panic when he sees Fridolin (this isn't based on anything at all,,,,, NU UH)
Koren ends up basically clinging to Fridolin, calling him anything besides his actual name because of his really bad memory and the two end up getting together yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They also fool around a lot and ditch work, only possible since Fridolin has totally amazing convincing skills.... ( ̄∇ ̄’)
When it comes to the fall of the initial team plasma, Koy tries taking Koren to safety, only to be fatally wounded. Koren panics, trying to save his sister with anything possible but just ends up watching her die instead.
Due to the gory scene, he throws up and collapses on top of her dead body and ends up having a dream where he meets Giratina. He clings to this dream and gets turned into basically Antichrist’s personal prophet/vessel since he clings to the belief that he is actually of importance. ( like how peony was possessed by Calyrex to speak to the player,,, yk???) mmmm
Boyfriend is of course terrified by this, which Koren doesn't understand. When Fridolin ends up being indoctrinated more heavily and distances himself Koren goes into a frenzy because he's under the impression it's his own fault for ever interacting with him, but is literally unable to stop himself from ( at least trying to) clinging onto Fridolin, going from joking nicknames to either Sage, Lin or his full name, trying to acknowledge their hierarchy difference thinking that's what he wants (it really isn't—)
While he's just chilling one day (having hallucinations as usual) one of his sisters approaches him, proceeding to try and kill him, under the impression that Koren is still a curse upon their family because of Koy's death. She thinks cutting off his arm will make him lose enough blood to die, but he survives. He then builds himself a prosthetic robot arm because I just REALLY like characters that are part Android lololol
ELABORATION ON GIRATINA'S AND KOREN'S RELATIONSHIP???
Koren's soul has a splinter of Giratina embedded deep inside it so technically he's Giratina??????
Giratina (obviously) wants it back, but Koren would have to die for that to happen, because he doesn't know how to just “give it up” since Antichrist doesn't wanna tell him smh.
If Koren is one thing though, it's being extremely hard to kill. So Giratina gives him a butt load of Hallucinations every now and then to try and make him Khs
Look at him he's so glorious. Anyway this is all just a beta lore thing I will write it in full detail (someday)
Everyday I beg my (future)-husband to let Korelin have a happy ending /silly
If you ask me I'll give you Koren fun facts. Only if you ask, though. (─ u ─)

Tyrant infodump/loredump because he means so much to me,, and a bit of elaborating on his pokemon form's design... yapping because I can
Also colored this because hell yeah
Writing down everything again because uhhhhh yes
Tyrant was created by Arceus as a counterpart to Volo, serving as a sort of demigod representative of pokemon, while Volo represents humanity. Not only that, but Tyrant was created with the intent of him being a kind of embodiment of innocence and childishness, he was supposed to be a beacon of positivity and gentleness among the already rather chaotic dynamic of the creation trio. He was however also tasked with a "hero" type of role. If there was a major problem, threat and the likes of that which humans alone couldn't deal with, it would be Tyrant's job to take care of it.
This duty didn't pair well with Tyrant's aspect of childishness and youth, though. Not because he couldn't do it, simply because it didn't exactly go well together. The very first time in which he had to prevent a disaster which humans couldn't on their own was back in Hisuian times, when he had to fight Volo, his own brother, to prevent the literal destruction of the world (pla plot and stuff)... Volo was in a way everything to Tyrant. The only real family he'd had, the person he could always come back to for support, someone he could rely on. Volo left Tyrant on mount coronet with the words that he was "old enough to care for himself" now. Tyrant wasn't, he wouldn't ever be.
Volo's disappearance completely shattered the bubble Arceus had raised Tyrant with, that certainty that everything would always be alright in the end. People around him celebrated the prevention of the world's end, but Tyrant's whole world had pretty much been destroyed after that fight on mount coronet.
After losing Volo, Tyrant became fixated on the idea that he had to be independent, that relying on other people was something completely unforgivable for him to do. He was a hero, chosen by Arceus, why would he have to rely on anyone?? Problem with that is that it's not how he works, independence and maturity was never intended for Tyrant. He is a child, if not physically, there will still forever be something childish stuck with him, in his mind.
He did still cling to Lian for a while, up until Lian's death actually, after which Tyrant reverted to living full-time as a pokemon. And even then, he distanced himself from other pokemon, never allowing himself to quite bond with any of them.
He rejoins human society during bw times, and fails miserably at it. Physically, by then, Tyrant is in his early to mid twenties. It takes him a while, but he does manage to figure out how to actually act his physical age after a while of awkward fails and coaching himself at it. That only worsens his already terrible mental state! Tyrant convinces himself that this is the perfect life for him, he convinces himself that, because Volo's whereabouts and wellbeing are still not exactly known, he has to manage watching over humans as well as pokemon. He should be old enough to take care of himself, so he should also be old enough to take on this duty. That's what being an adult is all about, independence and duties, at least that's how he's explained it to himself.
He copes with this existence very poorly, or not at all. He regularly has breakdowns during which he cannot control his shape-shifting abilities and trashes nearly anything around him, or moments in which he reverts to his form as a child, which he just beats himself up about because that's "too immature for him". Tyrant wasn't made to function without Volo, or at least any other caretaker, by his side. And so he doesn't function without those.
He's not human, and he will never quite be an adult, that is how Arceus made him to be. Tyrant's attempts at forcing himself into a strictly human life, as an adult at that, does nothing but harm to him.
Now the design yapping...
Tyrant is supposed fit in with the creation trio while also looking much more like an actual animal, and more innocent.... a lot weaker and more meek than the other deities. He's a little lamb wrapped up in a blanket of fur, basically. He's of course still supposed to look a bit off, more powerful than, like, your average Wooloo. But I definitely tried my best to let him keep a bit of a cutesy design??
He's not small in comparison to humans, he's about at Arceus' shoulder height (he can alter his height but I'd say that's the closest to his natural height).. but smaller than the rest of the creation trio!! I also wanted him to be a bit more Arceus-ish with the .. collar thingy around his neck, because he is considered Arceus' son.. I don't think I quite managed to do that?? Aside from that I wanted him to look like a package. A little bag. That's why he has those bow-like things.
Fun fact, the only part of him that's soft is that bag-looking part. That's wool-like. The rest of him has more of a smooth surface.
That's all :]]
