@hargrove-mayfields I don’t really subscribe to the idea of perfection but if I did I’d definitely use it to describe EJ. I’m honestly struggling to think of anything I haven’t already said to her but she is kind, her fics read like a storybook, the amount of empathy she has for Billy is indescribable, the way she treats her friends is beautiful and I feel so so blessed to have her in my life and to call her my best friend. Ilysm.

@shieldofiron Saf! God what can I say about Saf that I or literally anyone else in this fandom haven’t said like 1 million times before. We obviously know how smart and funny she is because of her memes and how talented of a writer she is because of her fics but Saf is also an incredibly sweet, generous and patient person. I consider it as truly a privilege to be her friend.

@thissortofsorcery Gabi!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve only known Gabi for like a month but when I say I already treasure her with my entire being. As well as writing fics of that incredibly high standard, I also just love how fucking kind she is, commenting on every fic I tag her in even tho she knows I’m gonna forget to answer. It might be the autistic hivemind thing where autistic folks are just very upfront and direct with their compliments but like omg, Gabi’s brand of sweetness is something else. Such an amazing new friend I can’t.

@half-oz-eddie Ivy’s blogs joy is actually infectious, genuinely get the goofiest grin on my face whenever I check it. Ik tumblrs being really frustrating for him rn so I just wanted to say to him how much I value his friendship, his memes, his fics and the joy he brings to this fandom.

Also I’m 100% writing Jewish Steve for you, we don’t get enough rep in any fandom especially not this one and Jewish harringrove is so incredibly special to me.

The more I see of the live action, the more confident I feel that Sanji's curly eyebrows were cut for functionality reasons and not because they would look too "silly."

I mean, look at Garp, the legendary high ranking marine! Here he is with his silly dog hat. How many newcomers are going to see this and say "What the hell is he wearing? Why is he wearing that??? Huh???????"

just some silliness on my part; I make up my own little this and that's as I draw normally - some which goes completely unnoticed because of how I draw, some which shows - and I like keeping it all collected + I always enjoy seeing what others roll with, so maybe someone will enjoy this too.

MERLIN notes: - I like to always keep his hair visibly curly, much like Colin's own hair is. I also prefer drawing it with some length; nothing crazy, just not the short-short stuff although I love how it looks in the show. - he's supposed to be a bit pale so I've landed in a cooler palette (hopefully) without making him look sickly or as if he's never seen the sun. - ARTISTIC CHOICE the outer lines of his eyes have golden specks/dots/pattern. nothing that would strike as suspicious as there's multiple people with yellow/light brown/golden patterns in their eyes. this is to play off that he's made of magic. these parts reacts by "sparkling" (I don't posses a better word for it) when hit by harsh light or as he experience strong emotions. - I loved how large his ears appeared especially in earlier seasons, so sorry but under my pen he'll never grow into them. same goes for his high cheekbones; in the series you can tell he's softening up in the face/doesn't look like a skinny fresh-outa-puberty kid no more, but I like the shape it gives with some hollowness.

ARTHUR notes: - his hair is also kept on the longer side, especially by the neck. his fringe tend to touch his eyebrows when I draw, or at least ain't far away haha. eyebrows are also fairy light. - I like the little fandom-agreement that he's tan from hours in the sun, so his palette is warmer; also adds a nice contrast to Merlin stylistically. with this in mind would he 100% have some sick tan-lines. - ARTISTIC CHOICE Uther's actor has (sectoral) heterochromia so bet I'll add that to any art of Arthur hereby where his eyes shows. a nice little family-thing which I would believe made him feel empowered as a child - a clear indicator to being is fathers son even at the worst of times. in later years, while having to try and fill his fathers shoes and try and right his wrongs all at the same time, I think it would feel more like a prison and taunt. - ARTISTIC CHOICE freckles under the eyes. a little dormant during winters and dark days but very much there during summers. the smaller kind though, and easy to miss unless you get close.
