I’ve been in such a funk since the concert. I’m not even sure I enjoyed myself that much. maybe I did. I don’t know
I'd phrase it more this way: it is made to remind everyone (mostly white people) that being queer, trans, or nonbinary is in no way tied to being white. Ex. Trans is not white which means being trans is not tied in any way to the white skin color, which some people tend to *forget* about. And this post is to *remind* them.
Although this is just a different phrasing of the same thought, I don't disagree with you.
Also, it would be cool to see an ND version.
How the types react to stress (based on defence mechanisms)
Esfj: reaction formation and dissociation
Estj: projection and repression
Isfj: withdrawal and denial
Istj: sublimation and displacement
Esfp: regression and denial
Estp: regression and acting out
Isfp: denial and turning against the self
Istp: acting out and rationalisation
Enfj: displacement and passive-aggressive behaviour
Entj: intellectualisation and projection
Infj: dissociation and sublimation
Intj: introjection and isolation
Enfp: passive-aggressive behaviour and withdrawal
Entp: repression and rationalisation
Infp: turning against the self and introjection
Intp: isolation and intellectualisation
Key to defence mechanisms (basics)
Repression: Feeling is hidden and forced from the consciousness to the unconscious because it is seen as socially unacceptable
Denial: Refusal to accept external reality because it is too threatening; arguing against an anxiety-provoking stimulus by stating it does not exist
Regression: Falling back into an early state of mental/physical development seen as "less demanding and safer"
Reaction formation: Acting the opposite way that the unconscious instructs a person to behave
Acting out: Direct expression of an unconscious wish or impulse in action, without conscious awareness of the emotion that drives the expressive behaviour
Isolation: Separation of feelings from ideas and events, for example, describing a murder with graphic details with no emotional response
Dissociation: Temporary drastic modification of one's personal identity or character to avoid emotional distress; separation or postponement of a feeling that normally would accompany a situation or thought
Rationalisation: Convincing oneself that no wrong has been done and that all is or was all right through faulty and false reasoning
Projection: Shifting one's unacceptable thoughts, feelings and impulses onto someone else, such that those same thoughts, feelings, beliefs and motivations are perceived as being possessed by the other.
Introjection: Identifying with some idea or object so deeply that it becomes a part of that person. For example, introjection occurs when we take on attributes of other people who seem better able to cope with the situation than oneself does
Turning against the self: Enables to deal with intense stress in the current moment by causing the self physical pain as distraction
Sublimation: The conscious decision to delay paying attention to a thought, emotion, or need in order to cope with the present reality; making it possible later to access uncomfortable or distressing emotions whilst accepting them
Displacement: Defence mechanism that shifts aggressive impulses to a more acceptable or less threatening target; redirecting emotion to a safer outlet
Intellectualisation: Concentrating on the intellectual components of a situation so as to distance oneself from the associated anxiety-provoking emotions
Withdrawal: Avoidance as a form of defence; It entails removing oneself from events, stimuli, and interactions under the threat of being reminded of painful thoughts and feelings
Passive-aggressive behaviour: Indirect expression of hostility
(Of course this doesn’t need to be true for everyone and we definitely do not only practice two of them but yet I’ve noticed kind of a pattern...)
continually awed by how american states function like separate countries
I held back on getting my gender changed in the state of Georgia because it required filing a court case and appearing before a judge to prove that I had transitioned enough to warrant calling myself male on my documents. there was a strong possibility they could deny me because I hadn't undergone any type of surgery (a requirement under Georgia law that is waived only sometimes), despite passing as male 100% of the time.
this morning I went to the Maryland vehicle administration building and they had a touch screen with buttons that said "male" and "female."
I paused and asked the lady "I can choose male, right?" and she looked at me (again, I'm just some guy with a beard) (and I think she misheard me) and she was like "Oh! Do you want to be female now?" I said no, my Georgia license (directly in front of her) says female, they wouldn't let me change it, can I be male now?
she said to just pick whichever I wanted. I got my updated license in 5 minutes.
So basically, there is mostly helvetica, futura and avantgarde, says a lot. Also, I wonder how was this info taken?

Hello, how are you? How did you learn how to pick locks and why? Thank youu
I'm as well as can be under current circumstances, thank you!
Well, short answer is, I got locked out/in one too many times and when my lil bro decided he wanted lockpicks I also got a set for myself. This one:
Depending on the size and finicky-ness of the lock some will work better than others. You learn to judge which ones are working better by the feel. And when you’re still learning I found that it helps to guess if you use the one with teeth similar to the lock key.
Bigger sets usually come with a transparent lock as well for you to learn, like this one:
And once you get the basic principles down it's only a matter of practice.
The pin tumbler lock is the easiest, the standard for almost every door and chain, and is the only one I know how to pick (though I should really learn the lever lock as well, we keep losing the keys to the old mountain house). I mostly learned by feel and, like, two gifs where someone explained the principles.
(I can also pick locks with two bobby-pins, but it’s a pain in the ass to work with those. They work in a pinch but you better arm yourself with patience first)
Anyway, there are tutorials on YouTube if you want to learn anything more sophisticated than that. Also a useful link.
Happy picking!
