Anyway I'm not gonna touch that internalized lycanphobia with a ten foot pole. Being turned by your partner is something that can be incredibly intimate as long as both parties are consenting and the one being turned is 100% sure they want it. Literally the only downside to transforming once a month is the pain, but midol works just fine. No one with these "lycanthropy bad" takes ever wants to discuss the legitimate positives that come with this "curse" lmao.

These could apply to any earthly god or goddess really, so feel free to borrow any ideas that speak to you! And please tell me about how you worship your deity, I'd love to know 💚🪲

Going for daily, mindful walks. Sometimes I'll listen to music, other times I'll just listen to the world around me.

Wear a lot of greens and browns, as well as recycled and more sustainable fabrics (a lot of my clothes are also thrifted, and I try to avoid overconsumption)

Decorate my space with earthy colours, posters and pieces of the earth - I have crystals, bones, pressed flowers and even rocks and twigs in my room

Learn about nature and the world around me - I am a zoology student so my academic career is also a devotion to Mother Nature but I also learn about what animals I can see locally, I study when and where flowers bloom and how to tell when rain is coming etc

Reconnect with my more primal side - a significant part of my work with Mother Nature is reognising and accepting that humans are animals, and we behave as such; we cannot allow ourselves to become seperate from wilderness. To me, this involves connecting with my intuition and gut feelings, recognising my emotions and desires and working with them

Making and wearing daisy chains or flower crowns

Creating art inspired by the world around me and myself

Caring for animals (that includes other humans) when I can and it's safe: from helping a snail move across the path, to making sure a dying bird can rest peacefully, to giving food and money to the homeless

Loving myself, though it isn't always easy

Spending time outside with my hands in the dirt or streams, speaking with the trees and birds and listening to their replies

Do you know what staying locked inside a basement with barely any sunlight does to a child's immunity system?

He's as pale as snow and his body has developed an aversion too much natural light and heat (he keeps the AC on in his room all the time in Purgatory Hall) because his body is just used to it.

His childlike reaction to any games the brothers or other characters might play or even his usual cheerful reactions to general chaos happening in the house - it shows exactly how the smallest things make him happy. And to someone who grew up with nothing but his own company, anything is fun.

The way he's just willing to come over just for a hug - he's so touch-starved it hurts. And we also see that physical touch gives him comfort especially when he's upset.

Perhaps the only comfort he could have was wrapping his own arms around him to keep warm. And you'll notice it when he hugs you, he lingers longer than anyone else and doesn't let go until you do.

Remember this from the "Just Kidding" event? It was stuck in my mind for a long time because the moment I heard the usually confident and carefree Solomon revert to this in his child form, I knew something was very very wrong with his childhood.

And man when his backstory was revealed...it's so much worse than I imagined. I just to want to hold this man forever.

And look at how he reacts when has to let go of a pet he merely kept for a week (in the Raise event). He forms connections so deeply even in such a short amount of time, dedicating so much time worrying and overthinking about the other's welfare.

Is it any wonder that he's the one who chased is down through time? You think this man here would ever be okay leaving you alone if he doesn't know for sure that you are safe? Yeah never.

That confident, shit-eating grin is just for show. Behind closed doors he's a scared child clinging tightly to the person he loves so much because he's afraid he'll wake up alone in that dark basement again.
