everytime i think of fruits basket i get a tight feeling in my chest. it's such a beautiful story of overcoming abuse and healing. the sohma family suffered so much, especially kyo, yuki, hatori, and rin but they never allowed it to change them into terrible people.

yuki's development is one of my favorite parts of the show. because of akito's abuse, he was always scared to be his true self. He felt like he had to be perfect and never made genuine connections, but he was finally able to break free from that thinking and find his own path.

kyo and tohru's story made such an impact on my life. kyo suffered with his guilt and feeling like an outcast his whole life while tohru had to grow up quickly putting aside her own feelings for her mother's sake. they were able to heal each other and eventually fell in love. kyo's story, in particular, makes me cry to this day. he was a boy who couldn't help what he was; he wanted to be loved and valued, and it's only until tohru honda comes into the picture that he can finally feel worthy of love.

fruits basket is incredibly heartbreaking while also beautiful. kyo, tohru, and yuki will always be my favorite characters, and i will always hold fruits basket close to my heart!

what i love about kyoru is that even though kyo believes he’s so unlovable, tohru has shown time and time again that she cares for him so deeply. in small acts, in big ones, with her words, tohru will always protect and love kyo no matter what and he will do the same for her.

tohru’s hands covering the physical manifestation of kyo’s trauma represents how she helps him to heal from his emotional issu— [sirens blare as i’m dragged away]

one of the many things i love about haikyuu is the care furudate puts into each character. obviously the main characters are tobio & shoyo, but throughout the series we see the other members of karasuno and the other characters on different teams in hq have their own goals & dreams. i think it’s such a big sign of great writing when so many fans of hq have multiple favorite characters besides the ones on karasuno. characters like oikawa, kita, akaashi, bokuto, suga, & hirugami are my favorites because of how well written they are. they are so memorable, relatable, & so easy to love. it’s amazing to see a series where side characters don’t FEEL insignificant. they have their own goals and flaws like the main characters. furudate is so talented!!

katsuki bakugou has been a favorite of mine since i was younger. watching him develop throughout the years has been so emotional for me & seeing him change is so beautiful. he’s an incredible character that i’ll love forever. he saw his weaknesses, acknowledged them, and grew to become a better person & hero. his development didn’t happen overnight. it was written so perfectly. he changed slowly over time and watching it happen was amazing.

I always think of kagehina as dual protagonists. Hinata is obviously the main one and Tobio the deuteragonist but lately whenever there is new content furudate makes sure that each of them interact with the other characters respectively

like there will be a mention of hinata hanging out with his bestie kenma. While Kageyama consecutively would mention catching up with sugawara.

Shoyo would interact with atsm & oikw and then Tobio interact with atsuoi as well 😭 Hinata would mention natsu, then Tobio would also mention his family (although his is usually kinda bittersweet ? like them not being too involved in his vb careers but caring in their own way)

Idk where I’m going with this it’s just nice how frdt always think of them /together/ when it comes to the story ?????
