Cha chaa teng (tea and food restaurant in Cantonese) in Hong Kong is akin to diners in America - cheap and cheerful local fare.
Egg and spam instant noodles. Fish ball noodles. Milk tea. Pineapple bun. Etc etc.

Joined the PauseDraw event in Tokyo yesterday. It was great just sketching with other people next to a little quiet pond. Before we started, we did some warm up exercises - the not-looking-down-at-the-sketchbook kind. These are what I did... they turned out looking like some sort of Matisse pastiche.

Illustration for Prospect Agency’s soiree in May 7th, Brooklyn. I somehow managed to complete it without a proper working space. I worked on it at a Starbucks (with spotty wifi) and at a hotel room in Wakkanai (the most northern point in Japan).
