(O   w O) hey fam!!! <3 <3 <3 it’s the most baking~est time of year!!! (for me anyway! hahaha! XD) and i really want to spread some sugar based joy around!!! (-^   O ^-) i got warmed up the other day with a big batch of traditional chocolate chip (under the supervision of Steevie and Q!) but it’s time to step things up and get to the real holiday cookie business!!!!

i love to give cookies and sweets as gifts, but it’s not something i can mail~ STILL!!! i’d like to make one for everybody i can!!! (^   O ^) so between now and tomorrow at noon (PST!) please send me your sugar cookie requests (off Anon) and i’ll make one special for you!!! <3 <3 <3 i have HUNDREDS of cookie cutters! like… (O __O) SO MANY!!! but the major themes are “holiday”, “ninja” (i have ninjabread men! XD), “cute animal”, and “random” (of which… there are some TRULY random shapes! HAHAHAHAH!!!) so please!!! (O   w O) send me an Ask with the category of cookie you’d like me to make for you and i will @ everybody who sent a request in the photos of the finished cookies!!! (-^  w ^-)

i will also post my family’s recipe later! (-^   O ^-) it’s just a basic sugar cookie recipe~ but i’d like to share it with anybody who’s never had them before! <3

so a very, very happy holidays to everybody! even if yours are a little messed up (as mine are!) and things aren’t exactly picture perfect with your family (as mine certainly isn’t!) lets all find ways to enjoy our time together and to treat ourselves and each other with kindness! (-^   w ^-) sometimes, if you don’t spoil yourself, nobody else will! so go out and do something nice just for you! and then go do something nice for someone else too! spread the love! <3

(Something a bit different, based on requests from patrons Diana Bartosh, Jacy Stesney and Luis Graciano who all asked for some form of comforting comic and this little bird just popped to mind.  I’ve been thinking about not indulging blind optimism while still pushing back against feeling helpless/ overwhelmed, I hope this spellamthing gets at that, the words feel a bit earnest and embarrassing to share but maybe that’s alright! )

(O wO) i only got to make one thing at work today~ but it was a bouquet for a garden-party wedding!!! IT’S SUPER BIG!!! (T 3T) i’m not aloud to take pictures at work though... so i had to sneak one from the cooler... else i’d show someone holding it... boooo... WAIT! i know how to draw! LOL! XD

i didn’t meet the bride, but this is what the maid of honour wanted ~ so i hope she has strong arms! XD
