Q insisted on a taste test... (= 3 =) though i did not approve! (O w O) i’m done baking all the cookies for the great cookie-request holiday bakeathon!!! just a quick break while they all fully cool and it’s time to ice!!! <3 <3 <3
OMG!!! XD so many cookies were baked today!!! (O w O) i got most of the requests filled already! and all the latest ones - as well as any that come in between now and tomorrow at noon (PST) - will be added to tomorrows to-bake list! (-^ O ^-) i can’t wait to decorate all these! HEHEHEH!!! <3 <3 <3 thanks so much for all the fun requests guys! i’m excited to show you all the results! (O w O) hey fam!!! <3 <3 <3 it’s the most baking~est time of year!!! (for me anyway! hahaha! XD) and i really want to spread some sugar based joy around!!! (-^ O ^-) i got warmed up the other day with a big batch of traditional chocolate chip (under the supervision of Steevie and Q!) but it’s time to step things up and get to the real holiday cookie business!!!!
i love to give cookies and sweets as gifts, but it’s not something i can mail~ STILL!!! i’d like to make one for everybody i can!!! (^ O ^) so between now and tomorrow at noon (PST!) please send me your sugar cookie requests (off Anon) and i’ll make one special for you!!! <3 <3 <3 i have HUNDREDS of cookie cutters! like… (O __O) SO MANY!!! but the major themes are “holiday”, “ninja” (i have ninjabread men! XD), “cute animal”, and “random” (of which… there are some TRULY random shapes! HAHAHAHAH!!!) so please!!! (O w O) send me an Ask with the category of cookie you’d like me to make for you and i will @ everybody who sent a request in the photos of the finished cookies!!! (-^ w ^-)
i will also post my family’s recipe later! (-^ O ^-) it’s just a basic sugar cookie recipe~ but i’d like to share it with anybody who’s never had them before! <3
so a very, very happy holidays to everybody! even if yours are a little messed up (as mine are!) and things aren’t exactly picture perfect with your family (as mine certainly isn’t!) lets all find ways to enjoy our time together and to treat ourselves and each other with kindness! (-^ w ^-) sometimes, if you don’t spoil yourself, nobody else will! so go out and do something nice just for you! and then go do something nice for someone else too! spread the love! <3

OMG!!! (O w O) so because of my self-imposed restriction against playing Pokemon Go until i had my big projects finished i only just started today!!! IT WAS SO FUN!!!! <3 <3 <3 of course, i picked Bulbasaur!!! because there is no world in which i WOULDN’T pick that adorable kitty/plant monster!!! and i’m only level 4 right now, so i can’t pick a team yet, but you KNOW i’m gonna go Instinct!!! <3 <3 <3 From day one my gut told me i had to be on team Instinct!!! and even when everybody started calling it the Hufflepuff of Pokemon Go - no matter how much i tried to tell myself i was going to go Mystic - yep... i’m Instinct all the way! HAHAHHAAH!!! I can’t wait to hatch my first egg!!! I wonder what it’s going to be!?!?! <3 <3 <3
too good to be true?!
even though it’s silly to put a lot of stock into the idea that the universe balances things out, somehow... i still can’t help but feel a little anxious when a whole bunch of nice things happen all at once!!! HAHAHAH!!! (-^ O^-) there was so much good news in the last few days and i received so many kindnesses that i didn’t feel like i deserved!!! (^ ____^) so now, i’m like~ “alright universe!!! what do you have in store for me now?!?!?! DO YOUR WORST!” LOL! LOL! LOL! XD
why is it so hard to just accept that sometimes lovely things just happen?!?! hahahah! cuz they do!!! just be sure to let the good things in when they come around! don’t turn happiness away when it’s knocking on your door! it might not feel real, but don’t tell yourself you can’t have it!!!! that you didn’t earn it! happiness isn’t earned! it’s something we all have the right to, and it sneaks up on us when we live our lives in the best way we can. so save up all the good feels, especially if they’re rare!!! turn them all to diamonds in your mind and no amount of sadness will be able to break them! they’ll sparkle in the back of your mind even on the really dark days <3 <3 <3 <3
