The war has entered its ninth month and everything is getting worse π
Please help me get my family out of there and protect them from war and bombingππ
Isa: Donβt worry, you have to treat an electronic like you treat a patient on life support.
*unplugs the TV, then plugs it back in again. nothing changes*
Isa: Yeah, that didnβt work with Jake either.
Hi, love ! Not sure if youβve already seen it but I posted your request :) Thank you so much for requesting and I hope you have a good day!π«Ά
thank you so much for writing the fic!
you can taste the fucking irony
Isa: Do you take constructive criticism?
Jake: Not without crying.
just learned that you can't have a happy ending without beginnings, so rest assured i will pour my heart out in sad scenes and write dumb comedy shit for funny scenes.
Isa: Do you know a turtles only weakness?
Jake: No... well, their slowness.
Isa: Their weaknesss is they can't roll over when they are on their backs.
Isa: Now I have a plan.
Isa: If I duct tape two turtles together, they'll be unstoppable.
Isa: Jake... you've been cuddling with me for over and hour now.
Jake: *muffled* mm hmmm :)
Isa: Fuck. I should be annoyed but you're adorable.
Isa: Jake, do you think I gained weight?
Jake: No, I think the living room got smaller.
Something I learned in these last seven months is that when children get war-related amputations, they need further surgeries as they grow.
I'd read it on Twitter so I looked it up to confirm (and it's true) but a lot of the search results were hospitals and doctors trying to explain the process to parents and what to tell their children, what kind of care they'd need after, how prosthetics would work.
I just saw this adorable little baby on Twitter (you can click to view the video, it's not gory, he's just a super serious little dude)
and I thought, fleeing from Rafah must be one of the most traumatizing dangerous situations you could be in right now as a healthy adult, let alone a baby with multiple amputations in famine conditions.
There are no working hospitals to speak of in Gaza, healthcare workers keep being killed off, aid keeps being blocked, many of the amputees have no one to look after them, there's still constant bombing and shelling and shooting.
UNICEF reported 1,000 child amputees by the end of November.
i just realized im spilling my own incorrect quotes on here...
