GUESS WHAT!!! i made a banner for my au xP i drew the boys' mugshots because the police HATE vigilantes. casey goes adventuring/patroling with them regularly, i LOVE casey SO MUCH guys. i'll make another cover banner for the actual chapters, also the mugshots say 2013 because the series starts in october 2011 and progresses from there (2012 is still the most important year though)!!! the series spans over a few years in-universe so don't be confused if their designs start off a little different :D

Bro why is my own fanfiction and headcanons actually making me sad. Like the idea that tamon never would have known for sure that he wasn't just hearing things and that ghosts actually were real. Sure, he could hear them, but he never had anyone else to confirm that what he was hearing was ghosts and not just figments of his imagination. Same with kanzaki. Neither really would have had confirmation until they met the other Phantom Busters, and they finally could know that they weren't just hallucinating. Especially because both of them were implied to have been bullied or ostracized in some ways, it could have been due to the fact that people figured out they could sense things in some way and thought they were crazy. Growing up and having no way to dispute that would have been so demoralizing. Not only did they find friends in each other but also proof that they weren't crazy

This is probably the longest I've ever spent on a digital drawing, I've been working on and off basically all day.
I was supposed to spend today writing my first entry of Febuwhump (also gonna be PB), but got inspo to draw instead.

A little info on this au:
I don't have much, but I do know that the rest of the gang is gonna be as follows:
-Seer Kanzaki (for obvious reasons)
-Faerie Korekishi
-and either Wolfwalker or Siren Tamon, I can't decide
Honestly I didn't really think up a lot of lore for Mogari when compared to the others, uh, basically he's just got the spirit of a dragon and can transform into one. He's a Spirit Dragon type, which means he feeds on Spirits (functionally the same as ghosts) for strength and possesses some similar abilities to Spirits (i.e. able to enter the spirit realm and become intangible)
