Logically speaking, I would pick seat #3 because I'd be surrounded by some of my favs in every direction *and* I'd be sitting next to crewel-sensei <3

I would have picked seat #7 because I love Azul and Jamil so much but they'd just make me feel sooooo single. Like no thank you 🥲 (plus I'm claustrophobic and am afraid of heights so unfortunately the window seat isn't the one for me)

I also wouldn't want to be stuck watching Floyd drive Riddle crazy the whole flight (I'm obviously avoiding seat #8 like the plague because I REFUSE to be seated between those two lmaooo would definitely end up getting caught up in the crossfire 💀)

Any digital artists out there with advice for someone who wants to really start learning? I’ve only done typical pencil and paper but I’d really love to put my ipad to use. Any recommendations for apps? Techniques to get the lines to be smooth and not jagged messes lol? I constantly am admiring y’alls work on here and want to improve myself!

Right now it’s a victim of DNS (Domain Name Service) spoofing. This means that a malicious party is trying to steal traffic from FFn by purchasing a very similar domain.

So if you want to read fanfiction and not see leaves, you have have to type out “www.fanfiction.net”.

Adorable Polar Bear Plays in Flower Fields

Canadian photographer Dennis Fast took advantage of his stay at the Canadian lodge Churchill Wild in Manitoba to capture this rare sight. Popularly known for its proximity to polar bears, Fast took snapshots of an adorable polar bear playing among the fireweed field. The bear is seen rolling among the lush field, as well as eating some of the stunning plants.

Polar bears are known to be one his favorite subjects, which he captures on ground level, unlike other photographers.His main objective as an artist is to capture wildlife sceneries and adventures, which are rarely experienced by others. 

Starting this new year off terribly with gaining weight, but I'm gonna look on the bright side and say that I managed to keep it from going back to 260lbs and still am. I hope I'll lose at least 50+ pounds by the end of this year so I can be at 200 for the next and then lose another 50 so I can be at a healthy weight.

I don't write fanfiction so my input here means f all, but the fact that people are using AI to write fanfics (basically stealing people's writing) is horrible to see. I love reading fanfiction and watching writers grow and improve, and the thought of people trying to replace such a beautiful thing with ai is heartbreaking.

ai writing is not okay.

it’s literally theft. just like how ai art steals, ai writing steals. it’s using authors’ very real work to generate whatever you type in. and this also needs to be said as well.

writing is a form of art. fanfiction is a form of literature.

seeing this all over my fyp is REALLY discouraging. fanfic itself is already a labor of love and we love it when you interact. but please do not use ai writing for your fanfic needs when this writing literally steals from fanfic authors.

Fanfiction is becoming people’s primary form of entertainment right now because most media right now is so cheap, bland, recycled, and sponsored by people who love money more than the source material. Fanfiction is written for free by people who genuinely love what they’re writing about. That’s why it’s better. That’s why it’s more satisfying. Fanfiction is a home-cooked meal made for yourself and for your friends. Media today is junky fast food spoiled by too much grease and the knowledge that the people producing it are being criminally mistreated and underpaid.

They have the live streaming service, why tf are they concerned about it being kid friendly all of a sudden?

This is great and all,but they need to fix the in app links cause after the update everytime you click on an in app link instead of opening in the app like it used to,it opens in a browser instead.

We’ve added some new blog badges for purchase in TumblrMart: “Goncharov Enthusiast”, “Commissions Open”, and “Coppy”. Go check ’em out! Today, you can only have one of these badge types visible on your blog in a stack, but stay tuned for updates on this.

The notes count on posts has gotten a little design refresh to make it clearer that it’s tappable/clickable.

We’ve added a new search index for URLs used in posts, so you can search for a specific URL on Tumblr and look through posts which link to that URL.

Our public API docs have been updated with info on how to mute push notifications and activity about a post, more to come in the actual Tumblr interface for this!

🛠 Fixed

Fixed an issue with the post form on web where the 140-character limit on tags was being treated as exclusive, only allowing tags up to 139 characters. The full 140 characters are now allowed, as intended.

Fixed an issue that could cause a thumbnail with mature content to appear in blog activity when someone used a GIF of yours in a post containing mature content. The thumbnail is now hidden.

When using the API to get the list of notes on a post, the blog’s “avatar_url” object is now included, like for other similar API endpoints.

We fixed a bug on web that was sometimes preventing the quick reblog/queue action for just the first post on your Following feed.

We’re aware that the Android app still has some issues entering 140-character tags, we’re working to fix that as well. Currently, you need to press “done” to enter a 140-character tag.

We’re working to update the Theme Garden to highlight themes that are “NPF Compatible”, meaning they’re set up to make posts from all of our editors look how they’re meant to look. You can read more about what we mean by this here.
