if someone close to you is disabled, you have to take that into account when you go places with them. you have to think about accessibility, fatigue, pain, flare ups, etc because its exhausting and hurtful when people who say they love you dont bother putting the effort in to make sure you ACTUALLY have a good time.

[update: i made this post in the spur of the moment after my family did something very inconsiderate & hurtful while we were on vacation, and I was very upset and angry at how abled people treat disabled people, hence the "abled people are required to reblog" thing. I was not expecting this amount of traction, and I've removed that now, because a lot of people dislike the guilt tripping. I did not mean it to be guilt-tripping, i was upset and angry.]

Can we PLEASE stop posting about the knew owl house episode without spoiler marks AT LEAST until it's out in every country? I wanted to go into this episode completely blind as to have the full experience of sobbing over the end of this show, and I just learned that Luz apparently [spoiler] and [spoiler] [spoiler], something I should have only found out from the episode itself.

And if you think that just hiding the spoilers under a cut does anything, then you are mistaken. For anyone like me who clicks without thought because button, it's way easier to decide not to when I know that there's something I don't want to see under the cut.
