Chainmail is a kind of fishnets
Yes it is
Sometimes the game just hands you something crazy, you don't even have to work for it

Real. I never understood that concept but that might be because I had a rough start up with paganism then basically just stuck with spirit work for years (it's very nice for me, do reccomend for new practitioners and baby witches with ample research.) 😭
But honestly the idea of having a god "meant" for you makes little to no sense to me. I'm named after the sun and I just started working with Lady Hekate, who is the goddess of spirits and the night (among a LOT more things), which I find very very ironic lols.
Maybe it's the sense of belonging that people crave? Which I totally get and you do you, but....is it even the *best* choice for the practitioner? Someone could be working with Cerrunos because of their love for the woods but might have ideals and interests similar to Apollo or Thor, they could he totally different!
For the baby witches: People and their gods don't have to be "meant" for eachother, there may be similarities but honestly whoever you feel is right for you is always the best bet...JUST DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST!!!
genuine question for new witches and pagans joining the community: why are you so concerned about what deity is “meant” for you?
maybe i’m thinking too practical, but that feels almost… redundant? i’ve never gone seeking out any answer like that, so perhaps i just don’t understand the appeal - but i’m totally willing to learn!
seems like most of the older pagans and witches i know also never went looking the moment they joined the practice; the gods either came to them or they - like most polytheists - worked with the pantheon they felt most close too and went from there.
i didn’t spend money on an online tarot reader or etsy package to “see who my deity is???” isn’t that my choice to make? my autonomy to choose who i devote myself too? i guess i just don’t understand why working with the gods would be a higher priority than being spiritual with mother nature herself.
but obviously everyone’s practice is different, and i respect that, it’s not wrong to take that route. i just don’t understand why finding out the answer is such a need for beginner witches. you have so much time to figure it out, and to choose who YOU want to work with.
if anyone has any insights please feel free to send them my way! i’m always an open book :)
