EPIC: The After Story... | Chapter 2: Reunion and A Distant Returning. —

[POV: Kaliza.]

*I see a crowd of people, lined up on shore, and I feel a smile take shape on my face. The few that stick out are my family, my best friend, and her family.*

*I look at the distance between myself and the sandy ground ahead. It wasn't that much further...*

*Within moments, I feel a jolt, as the wood of the boat collides softly with the docks. I let any others that came with me filter off, before walking off deck myself.*

*I am, in a short instant, hugged by my brother, Telemachus, and my mother, Penelope. Then, here comes over Lily, and her husband. I even get to say hello to the baby...*

*Then, I set my eyes on a younger boy, and a man...*

"Um, hi," *Astyanax says, shyly, as he approaches me. At the current moment, I had no idea who this boy was...*

"Hello, little one. What do you need?" *I ask, with a faint tilt of my head. My long blonde hair shifts with my movements.*

"I-... I'm your younger brother ... Adopted, I mean... My name's Astyanax!"

"Hm, well, then, nice to meet you! My name's Kaliza," *I smile, softly. I had to mentally admit, he was really cute...*

*I then look back at the man, and stare for a few moments. A sense of familiarity fills me, even if I have no idea who he is,*

"Father?" *I question, as if I just knew...*

"... Kaliza," *Odysseus says, with a small, almost nervous smile.*

*I feel tears sting behind my eyelids, and I quite suddenly embrace my dad. He was home. He even knew my name...*

*I get a sense of the others around me smiling at the sight, especially Telemachus and my mom. This was nice...*

[POV: Lily.]

*I watch my best friend, with a wide, gapping smile, while I rock the tiny human in my arms. My husband spoke, and we all turned to look at him,*

"We've made dinner at the palace, Kaliza. So, if you all would like to head up, I'm sure we all would like to."

"Of course! It is chilly out, after all," *I hear both Kaliza agree and comment.*

"Well, let's go then!" *Telemachus grins, and I and the others watch as he begins to race up the road towards the palace previously mentioned.*

*Kaliza takes off after him, and I softly laugh,* "Be careful! Don't fall!"

[POV: No one.]

*The family and friends quickly follow after the two siblings, Astyanax catching up quicker than the others. They all pass two others, not acknowledging them at the current moment...*

"Whoa-... Hm, I see they're off in a hurry... Hang on, was that Kaliza?" *One asks, looking at the other.*

"Right... I forgot she was returning today... Just more to deal with, Maggie," *The other says, with a deep sigh.*

"Oh, that makes sense... Anyway, we can worry about them later... Come on, Luci!" *Maggie said, before continuing to walk.*

*Luci followed, closely behind... She glanced over her shoulder once, before looking back ahead. Something felt off. Like, something. Or... Someone. Was coming back, but, from where?*

TALK ABOUT A FREAKIN' LORE DUMP?!

Here’s some lore on Az’s dead siblings. With Az too! :D

Eniko: The disgraced. The forgotten. Second to Naiko, Eniko is everything Naiko wasn’t. Selfish, dishonest, arrogant. Touched by the grace of darkness, Eniko stole the power his brother, Naiko, wielded. But, despite this, he could not handle this. And so, Eniko settled for a lesser than: gravity manipulation.

Luvidia: The kind. The caring. Luvidia was the glue that held the siblings together. Third born of the eleven, second favored of the stars. Luvidia also inherited the grace of energy in its purest form; Emotion.

ONia: …

ZaZani: The cold. The uncaring. The most useless of the eleven, ZaZani was a direct contrast to his elder sister, Luvidia. Graced with the ability of emotion, ZaZani sought to rid existence of the gift of feeling.

Zaizvo: The prodigal son. The God amongst Gods. Also known by Azrael, Zaizvo was the child favored by the cosmos. At his birth, his form was touched by chaos, granting him a power that was just as spectacular as it was dangerous; unpredictability. There was no end to what he could do, and this made him an unnatural force. Though favored, he was never loved, and his siblings revered him because of his gift. All but one; Eniko.

Runi: The wise. The knowing. Runi, the smartest of his siblings, shared his knowledge and wisdom with the eleven. He was the brains, the back bone, the only thing that kept them going with a plan.

RuAzure: The torch. The ember. One of the four shining stars, RuAzure embodied flame. So much so that her form was shapeless. A simple ember amongst the roaring flames of the other shining stars.

NaiAzure: The weak.. At the bottom of the shining stars, NaiAzure was regarded as the weakest of the eleven. She did not harbor any hate, nor love. She felt nothing, she was nothing. This, however, was not by choice.. Her flames were merely for show, its power being nonexistent.

Remiel: … The feared. The slayer of Gods. Second youngest of the eleven, Remiel was the power behind the shining stars. You see, Remiel didn’t command ordinary flame.. No.. She was special. Just as her elder brother before her, Remiel was also touched by chaos. But.. her power.. Her flames.. Cursed to be ever black, tinted with a vile crimson hue, her flames burned hot enough to burn the very souls of whoever, or whatever comes into contact with it. If she touches you with her flame, you are done. It’s as simple as that.

LaLazure: The merciful. Just Remiel, LaLazure held powerful flames. Unfortunately, her flames were only second to her elder sister. Her potential was vast, but she was simply outshined. A pity..

Here's a new OC :3. His name is Shroom

Late night cannot sleep EPIC thoughts with Sunny:

Odysseus, at least, in the Gigi animatic for Monster, looses Polites bandana. Symbolizing that he has finally moved on. Yet, just because he got rid of what he thought was the problem of that part of his trauma, it never actually did.

Telemachus was always pushed around by the suitors, and that makes you wonder. What if he would still creep through the halls, trying to hide when he was doing so, and had to be reminded that they were dead, and that they wouldn't be there to bother him anymore?

Penelope was never seen for her intellect and cleverness, just as she shows in WYFILWMA towards Odysseus when she tests him with their wedding bed. All except for Antinous. When he puts together that she's been buying "someone", as he may be thinking, and as we know this someone is Odysseus, so that "someone" can claim the throne before they have a chance. You could put together that he finds her actually quite smart for causing them to believe this was possible for a common man for such a period of time. In the end, it was most likely the worst man of them all to actually realize how smart she is, out of all of them.
