I redid this older comic I made for my storytelling class based on this post. Have some cute wlw love in your day.

Hey.. I'm a 18 year old boy who always wanted to be a girl. Since I can think i always wanted to be like one of them. But i never really found any courage to tell anyone and maybe even get help with that 😔

I am reminded of a move quote: “The way this works is, you do the thing you’re scared shitless of, and you get the courage after you do it.  Not before you do it.”

That line is immediately followed by: “That’s a dumbass way to work.  It should be the other way around.”

A big problem with us as humans seems to be this notion that courage is something you just have inside you and can call on it at will.  What courage really is is the expectation that everything is going to work your way.  That expectation only comes if you either had everything work your way in the past or by loading yourself up with false confidence.  Since I don’t really approve of false confidence… I’m sorry to say that you’re probably going to have to make your first moves while still being afraid.

There’s good news, though.  You’re on the cusp of moving out into the world on your own.  Whether its off to college, into the military, or getting a decent job and independent living arraignments, soon you won’t have to answer to anyone if you want to wear a skirt around the house.  After that… maybe a walk around the neighborhood or a trip to a grocery store or library.  You can take all the baby steps you want, then as your successes grow, your confidence will grow.  Then, once your confidence as a woman grows, you can start thinking about the bigger steps.

One other thing I’ve learned over my years of working retail, too, is that most people don’t really care about what you’re doing.  Most people in the world are too tied up in their own lives to really come down on you for what you’re doing.  And the ones that do?  Most of them are just taking out their frustrations over something else on someone they think can’t fight back.  That, or they’re trying to distract everyone else around them from something about them that they’re ashamed of.  In either case, none of it is your fault or something you are doing wrong.  Whenever someone has something to say, its really all about them.

So… you do you, but start in little ways before moving to the big leagues.  And while haters gotta hate, try to remember that they’re actually whining about something in their own lives, not your’s.

Desperation Scale

I found this online, and it’s my favourite one to use. :)

0: No urge to pee whatsoever; thus, your bladder is very empty, or you’re completely not thinking about it.

1: The slightest of urges, not enough to actually distract you from anything.

2: The first feeling of a clear urge. Still comfortable.

3: A clear urge that remains whenever you’re not doing anything interesting.

4: The kind of urge that starts to be uncomfortable.

5: You’re aware of the urge almost constantly, and really feel like you should be doing something about it. Usually a bit of shifting, squeezing thighs together

6: At this point, you’re very well aware of the urge. It’s enough for you start squirming or fidgeting more consistently, maybe crossing legs.

7: You are almost certainly feeling the urge to squirm and fidget constantly. Tightly crossed legs. You’re thoughts are basically: ‘gotta pee gotta pee!’

8: You are `bursting’. You know you can’t hold much longer. Can’t sit still easily if at all, maybe using a hand to help.

9: At this point, you’re not wetting just yet, but you’re close to it. Maybe leaking. Doing everything to hold.

10: You’re peeing.
