How to make yourself feel again 

Sit outside and feel sunlight on your skin. Focus on the feeling and let your imagination go free. Don’t think about what is stressing you. 

Go for a walk barefoot on the grass and breathe. 

Have a technology break and just sit. 

Drink a glass of cold water. 

Read your favourite sad book. Sit and immerse yourself in the story. 

Listen to your favourite meaningful songs. Preferably use headphones and blast it. Sing along to the lyrics and focus on the words and melodies. 

Read poetry gently. Really think about what it means. 

Sit and cry. Just let everything out. 

Reminisce the past. Think over everything. 

Write all of your thoughts and feelings down.

Differences between aces, aros, and allos

The ace spectrum is an umbrella term for anyone who does not feel sexual attraction, feels it weakly, or experiences it in a way different than "the norm." The aro spectrum is similar, but with romantic attraction instead of sexual attraction. Allos are people who are not on the ace or aro spectrum. This survey was made to see what kind of differences there are between ace/arospecs and allos. Mainly to see what's common among ace/arospecs and what's common among allos. (Or if we're more alike than we think!) Most questions involve sex or romance, so fair warning if those subjects make you uncomfortable. I went a bit overboard on the amount of questions, but almost all of them are multiple choice, and optional. This may take anywhere between 8-15 minutes, depending on how many of these questions you answer, and how much thought you put into the long answer ones. You can quit this survey at any time. There are so many things I’ve wanted to know regarding just how different (or not different) aspecs and allos are from each other, and I know I can’t be the only one wondering such things. So I made a survey open for everyone to take! Whether you’re acespec, arospec, or allo. I need responses from ALL in order for the results to be any good. Anyone can take this, and even if you don’t, reblogging or boosting this survey is much appreciated!

(I’ll probably post results once I get a satisfactory amount of responses. I feel like some of this could end up being valuable to aspec communities!)

dress up just to study, chew on the caps of your highlighters while you scribble notes in the margins of your books, put your feet up on your desk and drink cinnamon tea with too much sugar, learn calligraphy and write your favorite quotes on pages of old books and tape them to your wall, drink wine and read in the bath and use that bathbomb you keep forgetting is in your cabinet, play your favorite music play classical music play music from the 20s and dance down your hallway just because, call your friends and read aloud like each word is the most important one on the page, see if you can light enough candles to not need to use a lamp and open your window even though it’s cold, go for a walk and see if you can take a turn you haven’t taken before, live life as a challenge of how fun and dramatic a tiny world can be
