i live roughly 4,155km away from the closest point of australia, and these fires are so bad, they turn our skies red, and leave everything under a cloudy haze of smoke. the air quality in aussie itself is sitting at over 20 times the standard hazardous levels, over 400 million animals are dead, the fire has burnt over 5million hectares of land, over 1400 homes have been destroyed, and 24 people have been died.

Ok like I’m here for the whole “if it doesn’t make you happy, don’t do it” movement but like, be smart, yeah? Don’t just quit your job out of the blue, even if it is soul sucking, get another job first. Don’t just kick your roommate out because you aren’t getting along, talk to them first. And don’t say absolutely everything that pops into your mind, because discretion will save your ass on occasion. I’m not saying you can’t live authentically, but be smart.

Carmen Liu, trans woman and entrepreneur, has launched a lingerie collection for trans women.

She says:

“I had this business idea circulating in my mind for two years, thinking of how I would design the lingerie if I had the opportunity,” she says. “I wouldn’t say there was lightbulb moment as such. The idea hit me due to pure frustration of not being able to buy lingerie. Once I got the green light I began working 16 hours most days to cover every detail and possible option that would benefit and bring positive change to our community.”

This is a line that also fits transgender women who have not had  gender confirmation surgery.
