Do any of you ever perform so badly in a video game that you feel sorry for the protagonist?
sorry, I was playing a physics-based platformer and I think I gave the protagonist brain damage (for context, he wanted a girlfriend).
Does anyone ever have those dreams that make seemingly no sense, yet you still remember them perfectly? I thought that I would share one of my recent ones:
due to some work on the power lines nearby, my family were without electricity. to help mitigate the impact on people living in the affected area, the authorities set up an area in a nearby building (which was originally the town hall but later in the dream turned out to be a train station) for us to cook our food. My mum sent me out to roast some potatoes for breakfast (despite roast potatoes not being something that I consider a breakfast food), so I went to the building that was currently the town hall, although I got lost on the way. luckily, I met some of my school teachers on the way and they helped me find my way to the building (which was still the town hall at this point)
When I entered the building (which was now a train station), I looked for the cooking area (which is what I called the temporary kitchen in the dream), but ended up at a platform where a train showed up. I started to leave to head home and inform my mum that I failed, but ran into my teachers who helped me figure out how to get to the cooking area, and showed me how to access the upper floor, which was only accessible using a device that could only be described as "if a seesaw moved you perfectly vertically", but I was heavier than my teacher and went down instead, until I started lifting myself up the shaft, using the device and the weight of the teacher on the device to support me.
Unfortunately, I woke up after that, and never got to see what happened afterwards. this also means I never got to eat breakfast roast potatoes
I'm new to Tumblr, and I wanted to say hello to the people here.
