okay, so due to an unexpected visitor coming my way this evening i won't be able to update anything until sunday afternoon.

so on sunday i will be dropping the two last chapters of "like a bludger to the heart" and adding the final chapter to the spanish version.

hopefully i will be updating "a través de los años" with the two remaining chapters of second year on monday.

as for "strangers" and "marauders", i will start working on it at some point after that. ideas are in my head already, i just need to find the time to sit down and write them down.

IM BACK! ✨🙇🏻‍♀️ I know lately I’ve been absent from my socials. And I’m preparing a content to talk a bit about this with open heart! I needed some time and that’s it. It was refreshing and so good for my mental health.  Briefly speaking, I was again entering on a exhaustion on making art everyday. And constantly doing it was turning really harmful for me. I was starting to get anxious, and with that a burned out sensation was starting to grow. And for a person that had a burn out stress over and over again, we start to be expert on this topic (sadly). After realizing that I might have a mental break over it I stepped back and took a time off. (Still was doing commissions)  Well, that’s it!  Hope you guys like this Sirius Black… kind of representing a bit of my art frustrations! 😂 and hope you guys don’t abandon me yet!

don’t get me wrong, i’m 100% sure orion defended his wife with claws and teeth, specially when it was sirius the one fighting her.

i imagine sirius rebellious strike reminded walburga too much of herself so she was definitely worried how he would turn up. and because of that they bickered often. and while sirius also picked up fights with his dad, orion didn’t react as badly unless he felt sirius had gone too far with walburga.

he might not thought it as: that’s my wife you’re disrespecting, boy, but more importantly that’s YOUR MOTHER.

orion understood the sacrifices walburga made for the sake of her family and while he accepted with dignity the fact that she might never love him, he did protect her (not that she really needed it).

that’s the reason walburga don’t mind that much, cause he’s present in all the ways she needs him to be.

and that’s why when and if ever he is unfaithful, he goes out of his way to pick a witch outside their circles. but with druella is personal, it’s has to do more with himself than with her wife.

just in general i think that however wrong and misguided their actions might be, pure blood families, especially old ones like the blacks and malfoys, valued their families above anything else.

there’s a reason they got to be MOST ANCIENT but also, there’s a reason the family finally crumbled.

(we all know if sirius had survived he either wouldn’t have had kids or would’ve done MUCH MUCH MUCH differently).

i think walburga wouldn’t care for orion being unfaithful as long as 1) he was discreet about it and 2) he didn’t get involve with anyone near her circle. after all, their marriage isn’t rooted in love.

problem is, orion and cygnuss have been feuding ever since they were kids (orion is closer to him in age than walburga) and finally he decided to start an affair with druella, who happens to be not only is his cousin’s wife but also the one woman walburga despises the most (she never wanted for her to marry his brother).

meanwhile alphard knows all this is happening and stays as far away as possible from all the drama, cause even if he tells his sister, she would find a way to blame him somehow, shot the messenger and all that.

remus: she came to one of our concerts once. i mean, she came every time she could. but that time she went full glam. brought a few of her models friends with her. sirius pulled them onto the stage.

james: i wanted lily up there too, but she said if i started flirting with her right in front of everyone then they’ll start questioning who the others were. made her regret it though (laughs). people next day thought me and mary were a thing.

peter: that was the last time we saw her wearing her hair long. she jumped on the platform with me. flirted with remus and sirius both. dance with all her friends, but people could only stare at her. she was dynamite. i don’t even think she was on something. i don’t. it was just her pure energy.

james: sirius pulled her to the front. made her sang with him the chorus.

remus: people went nuts. none of us new she could sing. her voice was raw, a little raspy, like she had pebbles on her throat but somehow they melted on your ears.

peter: she disappeared from the public eye for a while after that.

James is not a deadbeat dad: I hate when people say that

"Dumbledore had to take his invisibility cloak because he was going out so much," No. Dumbledore borrowed James' cloak so he could research it, he asked to borrow it, and James let him.

"He leaves to go on motorbike rides with Sirius, leaving Lily and harry alone" Also, no. That was a prequel for a reason. It took place three years before Harry's birth and when James was still in Hogwarts, maybe not even dating Lily yet. And even if he was dating Lily, he can still go out because he wasn't in hiding yet.

"He forgot his wand on the couch" Key word. Forgot. He wasn't in a life or death situation, it was just pure death. He voluntarily risked his life to give Lily time to go up those stairs, knowing he'd die. He told Lily to take Harry without him. If you're going to say James is an idiot for forgetting his wand, don't forget, Lily had no wand upon her either. James was scared and clearly had no time to get his wand because one distraction could've made Voldemort pass him.
