Enji todoroki; I would like to steal his knee caps and cronch them like chips in front of him while making blistering and prolonged eye contact

All Might; That man did not do right by Izuku midoriya. What kind of professional hero leaves a civilian (and minor and minority) who was previously unconscious and suffocating without medical help on a roof alone after bluntly crushing their hopes??

Kai Chisaki; it’s not enough. I don’t know if anything could be enough but it’s not enough.

Eri; I would die for this child and strongly desire to spend all my disdain for her “guardian” spoiling her.

The MHA faculty (and All Might, again;) who thought it was a good idea to not inform a minor’s teacher (and basically guardian) that he literally just got his quirk and has absolutely no control over it instead of letting false assumptions build?

Bakugo; homie literally chill. Also why do consequences just not exist. Forgiveness is cool but so are justice and learning moments.

Inko Midoriya: sweet as she is, the blindness to the amount of physical and emotional abuse her child was experiencing, the lack of any emotional support for any version of his future… it’s giving neglect.

Also.

The quirk laws??; First of all, I don’t understand. Second of all, I still don’t understand. What about self defense? What about latent abilities? What about the ability to help others in emergency situations? Or people who have quirks that have nothing to do with other people? How can you just say no one can use quirks in the out of doors?? When most of the population has quirks???? That’s like making it illegal to have your eyes showing?

Story time:

So one time I was at a summer camp and a kid brought a bulk package of pixie sticks with them (they’re flavored sugar in paper straws). They were sharing them with everyone but the counselors and leaders were not a fan of having a collective of like 100 sugar high 10 y.os for a week straight.

The pixie stick kid divided the bag amongst his cabin mates and what ensued in the following week was 100 10 y.o kids having sugar drug deals. There were shady secret meetups. Ziplocks of pixie sticks buried in hidden locations for pickups.

Kids were biting off pieces of the stick and chewing the sugar out so counselors couldn’t retrieve the sticks if caught. You just shoved the whole thing in your mouth and spat out the wrapper after.

I feel I should also mention this was a bible camp. A bible camp of pixie stick dealing 10 y.os.

Writing when ur on the drug called exhaustion is a Time because you will be trying to write a normal or serious line like "As he walked away" and your brain interrupts you for its state mandated ad break to insert "As he waddled away, waddle waddle, and he waddled away waddle waddle waddle~"

Did anyone else think Czechoslovakia was pronounced “zetch-luh-vahkia” or was that just me being the fool I am

Arright my more experienced friends, I need some brainstorming. Some ideas, if you will.

One of my favorite sweatshirts has finally gone from “I’ll just say this spill happened today” stained to “This is a paint shirt” stained

But. So has a whole load of my laundry. So! I want to save, at the very least, the whale and some of the flowers (embroidered directly onto the fabric, from Jeana Draws).

I have no idea what to do though. If it was a patch, I’d remove it and place it somewhere else. If it was just the sleeves or just the body, I’d just remove one or the other and see new bits on. Alas, motor oil and a machine washed chapstick have attacked both.

Any ideas on how to recycle these bits into something else wearable?

Thoughts on English names in Korean

I have been trying to Konglishify English-speaking-people’s names and it has come to my attention that most of the traditional spellings that are provided are not how the name owner would prefer it spelled.

I think the issue is that translators are prioritizing the spelling over the pronunciation.

Also people just have preferred variations to how someone would say their name if the normal lettering is unavailable.

Examples of preferred spellings, from ppl i have asked:

Diana: 다야나

Robby: ㄹ오비

Jessica: 제세카

David: 데옏

Keep in mind that not all ppl would necessarily prefer this, this is just individual preferences.
