I just realized this chart contradictings my own HCs & Ocs so, I'm adding a lil note

Deathwalkers: they've lost their coloration over the centuries due to the river so now they're gray/a very desaturated version of their original color

Colors I think the different d(a)emon types would be!

Empathy Daemons: Pastels and white

Serenity Daemons: Dark greens, blues, and maybe some purples

Sadism Demons: Dark reds and oranges

Desire Demons: pinks, purples, and magentas

Shock Demons: Bright oranges, yellows, and sometimes reds

Strife Demons: Deep and muted reds and blues

Misery Demons: Blacks and grays or muted colors

Fear Demons: bright or muted blues and purples

Elation Demons: pinks, reds and yellows

Inchoate Demons: can be any color but the color is always a medium tone

You know what?? I think William was right. Like… 100% right.

He set up the assassination at the Summit to 1) secure better outcomes for his house including more land 2) stop money from being fed into Close Knit and 3) take some form of revenge for what happened to Vincent, Sam, and Lovely during the Inversion (something he has the right to do under Senguine Primero).

He didn’t tell Vincent. He didn’t tell Sam. He made their lives very stressful before, during, and after the Summit. I don’t think he chose to keep them in the dark lightly. He needed their reactions to be genuine because Sam and Vincent couldn’t handle acting surprised, not on top of their own moral superiority about the whole thing. I in fact think he was right to lie to them. They wouldn’t have been able to handle it.

Sam and Vincent are young and their reactions of those of young men. They haven’t lived a full human lifetime, let alone multiple. I think William made the decision that a 500 year old person would make. Permanent, tactical, decisive. You don’t get to be 500 years old by fucking around and making the kind choices. I think we should have all (Sam and Vincent included) understood before this, on some level, that William must have been capable of cruelty, otherwise he wouldn’t be alive.

I think William made an unsavory decision, the sort of decision that lets 500 year old lineages survive. I think Vincent is going to be faced with one of those decisions early into his time running his own house and won’t be able to make it. And I think he’s going to suffer greatly for that.

Anyway I’m a William apologist and I will not be shamed for it.

If I have one anime pet peeve, it's not the weird ass plots or the even weirder tropes it's when the anime adaptations say fuck the manga plot and make their own.

Animes like black butler where they go off the plot for seasons, causing people who don't know about the weird ass plot to be confused when drastic things happen to main characters that just get forgotten when the anime gets back on track.

Like I'm currently watching Blue Exorcist and I just started season 2 and thanks to whoever decided to say fuck the plot I spent a most of S2 Ep1 confused as a motherfucker trying to figure out what the hell happened to Yukio's Satan powers only to find out they aren't even manga canon!

I doubt any anime director's will see this but if any do, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T GO OFF THE MANGA FOR MAJOR PLOT POINTS THEN ACT LIKE IT DIDN'T HAPPEN😭 I have spent hours confused as to why characters act like major life changing events didn't happen just because you thought it'd be cool to throw the plot out the window for the last half of a season or two.

Fiction often influences how we think, especially young people, so seeing age gaps like that can cause people to think age gaps with children are ok and can cause kids to get into relationships like that causing them to be manipulated and get in traumatizing situations. Also people can point to unhealthy age gaps (like Ciel x Sebastian) to justify their grooming of children, so just because it's fictional doesn't mean it's ok.
