Merlin: *lets out a sad little sigh* I wish my life was less difficult.
Gwaine, already sprinting halfway across Camelot: SOMETHING TELLS ME MERLIN NEEDS A HUG-
I say let kill viv
Woahhhhhhh, let not kill anyone!?!?
Look viv has done some messed up and questionable things, but saying let kill her is fucked up!
Honestly, I don't know how to properly answer this question because this is just so messed up.
"To base characters after an animal isn't a bad idea. Especially if its a demon. But vivs designs handle that theme poorly, since it's sometimes difficult to recognize what kind of animal the character is supposed to be. (prime example: alastor, vaggie, mimzy)"

merlin, after successfully getting away with something that would have others executed once again: emrys? more like emRIZZ amirite
gwaine: ...
lance: ...
arthur: i can't believe this is my husband.
merleon as the round table parents
it started on a hunting trip, gwaine was teasing mordred and took his stuff and hid it. merlin told him very sternly to give it back and mordred said "thanks dad"
from then on they all started calling merlin dad
with leon it came slower and from lancelot. lance was struggling with his relationship with gwen and he confided in leon
leon helped him work through it and when lance left he clapped leon on the shoulder and said "thanks pops"
of course the others all found out about it and started calling him pops
neither of them fits into "mom" or "dad" categories but they each have a role
the kids go to leon when they need solid advice, when they feel like they cant handle something alone and they need a real answer to a problem
they go to merlin when theyre hurt (physically or mentally) and he helps heal them. they also go to him when they need someone to vent to and not get a real answer from, merlin is more than happy to bitch with someone and he'll hold your grudges for you
when on hunting trips, leon makes sure they have food and merlin prepares it and makes sure everyone gets their share
theyre equally protective of the kids and they'll work together to move heaven and earth for them
when they dont want to deal with the knights they try and pawn them off on each other. they ask merlin for advice and he says "oof that sounds like one for pops"
gwaine gets mad at arthur and goes to leon, who tries to give him advice, gwaine gets even more upset and leon calls for merlin because he cant handle the big shows of emotion
the kids all fight to be the favorite. arthur tells the others he has to be the favorite because he's king, leon grounds him for holding his station above the others heads
merlin's favorite changes based on how much trouble they've cause him
leon's changes based on how well they did in training
raising the knights eventually gets merleon together.
pov you insulted magic users in fron of arthur and leon, both of whom are married to magic users
I fucking hate the ugly gecko
Ok so i love Merlin magic reveals but theres just something special about Merlin Dragonlord reveals
The ones where Arthur finds out and suddenly realises "HolyshititoldMerlinthathisownfatherwasntworthatearwhyishestillatmysideimahorribleperson-"
And i've seen several versions of this reveal and what the responses would be
But i haven't seen one i had in my mind
Just imagine this: Merlin grows his hair out ("no, gwaine, im not copying your hairstyle stfu-") and grows a beard
And Arthur thinks it's hot that he looks oddly familiar but can't place it
He tells tells Merlin this and Merlin sits there in cold sweat thinking Arthur is connecting him to Dragoon or something
It takes Arthur a week (A whole week!) to figure out who bearded Merlin reminds him of
Theyβre sitting around the fire on their way to a quest or whatever
And Arthur looks at Merlin who's attempting to carve what looks like a misformed dog from a piece of wood when Arthur suddenly gets flashbacks to that time The Great Dragon escaped and they went in search for the last Dragonlord.
Balinor. Merlin looks like Balinor.
And now that he sees it he can't unsee it. It's uncanny how much they look alike. Almost like father and son...
And that is how Arthur realises that he never defeated The Great Dragon and that Merlin is in fact the last dragonlord and "shitshitshitmyfatherruinedhisfatherslifeanditoldhimnottocryaboutit-"
Ignoring the fact that Uther believed that Dragonlords were too close to magic Arthur confronts Merlin about it, and promises him it's alright, it will all be alright. And Merlin can barely get out a word before Arthur hugs him, both of them pretending that Merlin totally isnt crying.
Arthur takes any books on dragons and dragonlords he can find and gives them to Merlin.
(Bonus points if Merlin lets Arthur come along the next time he summons Kilgarrah for help and Arthur promptly kisses Merlin after hearing him use that voice because 'holyshithessohotwhattheactualfuck')
((Even more bonus points if they adopt Aithusa together))
EPISODE 4 OF HAZBIN HOTEL REVIEW!
~~~~~~~~
Tw: sa
I have never been sa, so I can not commentate if the scenes of sa in this episode were done right.
Some people said no, and others have said yes. I see both sides of this argument, but it is just one of those things where I can't speak on it since I never been through that. So I'm just not talk about the sa scenes.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Summary of the episode:
Angel struggles to keep up with both his work life and hotel life. So Charlie decided it was time to use her status to help Angel out.
~~~~~~~~~~~
My problems short formed:
β I didn't really like Charlie in this episode, I get what she was trying to do. It was just one of those things where it was done poorly.
β Why did Husk have to go comfort Angel when Charlie was the reason why Angel was upset.
β I get the whole Husk is the bartender. You spill your dirty laundry on, but like, how did he expect Angel to open up when earlier in the episode he spilled everyone problems.
β does charlie even know Val is a dangerous person?
~~~~~~~~~~~
My problems long formed:
β I get what Charlie is trying to do in this episode. She just went the wrong way about it.
She came off a bit childish for wanting to have Angel at the hotel. But I get it! She wants Angel there to help him. The problem is that Angel has a job, and he is going to work odd hours sometimes. And it is not like this fact was hidden from Charlie.
Charlie knew Angel had a job, so again, she should've done something different. Like asking Angel for work schedule to work around it. Instead of going straight to his workplace, unprepared.
β this where I came to the question, does Charlie know that Val is a dangerous person?
I mean, we, the audience, know that Angel is in the hotel to get away from Val, but does Charlie know that? Maybe Angel didn't tell her the exact reason why he signed up for the hotel?
Anyway, Charlie shouldn't have gone to Angel dust workplace unannounced. Then, after being allowed in! She kept messing around the place and bothered the workers.
I hated that, especially that scene where she kept messing with the mic guy about her hotel, like come on, girl, it not the time nor place. You came here to help Angel not promote your hotel!
β Now, after all that, she started to cry. And then, when Angel finally snaps at Husk. Her and Vaggie are like, "Husk, that wasn't very nice of you!"
And it like, "huh?" All Husk did was trying to give advice to Angel. And, of course, it just went the other way. Charlie sent Angel work place on fire!!!!! I think they both owe Angel an apology. So both of them should've gone.
while revising some of my ocs, i realized how odd it is that everyone in the hellverse either speaks english or has it as a secondary language. putting aside the reality of hazbin/helluva being tv shows produced in america by americans, there should be a LOT more characters who primarily speak a language other than english or use outdated english (and no zestial doesn't count the mf was in like one episode). i also want to see more bilingual characters that aren't spanish. where are the french-americans. where are the russian-americans. it can not be hard to find voice actors who speak a language other than english and spanish.
