Rough au idea:

Reader grew up with her mother and stepfather until the age of 9. Both of them had been laid off and couldn't afford to take care of reader.

So, her mother contacted reader bio father, bruce wanye

Reader mother explained the situation to bruce. And promise reader as soon as she and stepfather can find work + money. Reader would come back and live with them.

But that never happened....

Reader arrived 5 months after Jason death, even though his death was old, the shadow he left behind was fresh.

Reader was shown around the mansion by Alfred. Later that night, reader met bruce before he disappeared for an emergency.

As years went, reader was treated as a ghost in their own home..

It not really their home, is it?

Unlike at home, at school wherever they went during school hours, they were mistreated, bullied, and tortured every single day. Treated as a little bug who doesn't deserve anything

It doesn't help bruce, and the batfam is always busy. Never helped reader whenever they tried to call out for help they were ignored by loved ones who were supposed to help them.

Maybe if one person actually stopped and actually gave the emotional/physical love and comfort reader wanted, everything would have been different.

The accident wouldn't have happened

After, some time of constant nothing but pain, and sadness that really takes a toll on your mental health.

School got involved quickly after reader begins to talk to the counselor. The school decided to call cps. Soon, cps decided it was not safe for you to return to your mom house or stay with the batfam.

So, after talking to your new case worker, you were able to leave the batfam. And you put into a new foster family.

Honestly, under your new foster family influence, you were truly a different person! You were a bird taking flight, and nothing could stop you!

It really sucks after a certain night their family started to clip their wings

it’s a TRAGEDY that we never got acknowledgement of gwaine knowing about merlin’s magic, but it’s ALSO a tragedy that we never got gwaine nOT knowing about merlin’s magic but still being a ride or die anyway with ZERO explanation needed to fully commit to whatever lie the situation called for

merlin, limping up, covered in blood, still holding a knife: “listen, if anyone asks, i need you to say that i was with you last ni-” 

gwaine: “we fucked last night until dawn, got it” 

“n-no, you can just say we w-” 

“it was tender but passionate, and you said thank you at the end” 

Dragon merlin au

In this au, Merlin's frequent use of magic is causing a gradual transformation where he slowly develops dragon like traits (long hair, long teeth, etc..)

While he can manage the physical changes with haircuts and filing his teeth, the psychological impact is far more profound. He's becoming increasingly possessive and restless, exhibiting traits of a dragon guarding its hoard.

"Gaius, I don't understand why I feel so ill," Merlin says, his voice strained.

"Merlin, as a Dragonlord, it's possible you're experiencing hoard sickness," Gaius explains. "Dragons possess hoards of treasure and are fiercely protective of them. When deprived of their hoard, they suffer a debilitating fever until they reclaim it."

"A hoard? What could that be?" Merlin asks, bewildered.

"Think, Merlin. Has anything recently captured your attention or become particularly precious to you?" Gaius inquires.

Merlin struggles to recall, his mind clouded by a growing sense of unease.

As the months pass, Merlin's condition worsens. He struggles to fulfill his duties, his energy waning, and his personality shifting. He becomes short-tempered and withdrawn. The knights, Arthur, Morgana, and Gwen notice his decline, attributing it to a lingering illness. Arthur lessens his chores, and everyone gives him space, unintentionally isolating him further.

One night, the concerned group gathers secretly in Gaius's chambers, defying his orders to leave Merlin undisturbed.

"I can't believe we're doing this," Arthur mutters.

"Arthur," Morgana reassures him. "We're here to see Merlin. Besides, if Gaius catches us, we'll say we had urgent concerns."

"Still, this feels..." Arthur trails off.

"Relax, Princess," Gwaine interjects. "Everything will be fine. Don't pretend you don't miss him."

Suddenly, they hear voices and quickly hide. Merlin emerges, followed by a frustrated Gaius.

"I told you, I'm fine!" Merlin insists, his voice hoarse.

"No, you're not!" Gaius retorts.

"I said I'm fine!" Merlin's eyes flash gold, and a nearby vase shatters.

"It's alright, Merlin," Gaius soothes. "Here, try this new potion."

Merlin drinks the potion, then immediately vomits. "Ugh... I'm so sorry, Gaius. I don't know what's happening to me. It feels like I'm losing my mind."

"It's probably nothing," Gaius says, though his expression is troubled. "You just need rest and medicine."

The group witnesses this unsettling scene, their concern deepening. They realize Merlin's "illness" is far more complex than they ever imagined.

Making Valentines merch of your ship that's mainly focused around abuse, S/A, and class/racial discrimination (where the lower-class, implied POC is seen as chained to his abuser) as a cop and prisoner (with the victim being the cop and the abuser being the prisoner) is...a choice...

The number of people I have seen talking about how millie cheated is so worrying 😟

Like, guys, Millie characteristic (for the longest time) is that she loves her husband

Why in the world would she cheat?

She probably stressed/worried for 2 reasons

● Imp won't let her do her job now since she pregnant

Since it is stressful and dangerous, the 2 biggest things you should avoid being pregnant

(And I realized while typing this that the writers are going to have stolas take over her job and work with imp in the human world)

● plus, it clearly implied that Millie and moxxie never talked about the idea of having kids. Or they did, but they planned to have kids more in the future

So it got Millie stressful on what moxxie reaction will be and what their life will look now with baby in it

Uther after seeing Gwen and Arthur kiss: Arthur what the actual fuck has gotten in you?! Arthur: Father I - Uther: How could you- I mean is this because of me? Is your sole aim to defy me??! Arthur: What no that's not the reason Uther: Oh so you just randomly decided to betray Merlin with Morgana's maid? Right after I told him I approve of your 'BOND'. I'm not a fool Arthur, I knew that boy was too good for you. He would have given his life for you! MULTIPLE TIMES! You BETRAYED him. When all he did was protect you, even gave you a sword - literally not metaphorically speaking. Arthur: Wha- Uther: you have no shame HE IS ADORABLE ARTHUR

I'm continuing my very lengthy ff (after I finally finished my exams whoop) and I'm currently in a scene where Morgana thinks there is an intruder in the castle but it turns out it's just Percy and Gwaine making out in the middle of the hallway and I just wrote the sentence:

"How well I will sleep tonight, knowing, should someone decide to kidnap me again, they will be scared off by Arthur's troops of excited manwhores."

And how is your day going?

I just got the chance to see the valentine merch and I have to say I'm not really impressed.

If I have time this week, I might make some posts discussing what I did and didn't like about the merch.

Ive seen arguments about this line like “oh but we don’t know if her husband actually cheated or not soooo yeah”

and that’s true we have no idea because it’s not confirmed, however, I genuinely believe he did cheat. And I think this because the gay couple is super paralleled with Stolas and blizt

I don’t think the couple exist as fleshed out characters, I think they exist as a writing device to mirror stolas’ situation, otherwise what’s the point of them? (Especially because the family is animated exactly like blizts fantasy too)

another thing is blizt doesnt even ask her “how do you know if your husband cheated or not?” He immediately just defends cheating and doesn’t try to figure out the situation, because this scene isn’t fleshed out characters talking to each other and learning about each other, it’s just a weird character insight on blizt

just mentioning this because if this is correct then this lady has every right to be mad at her husband and the show sucks for just portraying her as a b**ch (im open to believe that im wrong though, I just think it’s weird to write a parallel situation but for the situations to end up being completely different to each other)
