The concept of Acht being Marina’s ex has made the plot of side order 10 times funnier. Acht, having absolutely no conscious thought for around 6 years, suddenly gets pulled into this strange place where they get their will back. But oops! No hope of escape until this rando kid and a robot turn up talking about their ex who ran away years ago. Huh! What a small world! ONLY TO FIND THAT THIS ROBOT IS THEIR EX’S GIRLFRIEND. AND FOR THE REST OF THE GAME THEY ARE FORCED TO STAND AWKWARDLY WITH THEM, LISTENING TO PEARL AND MARINA FLIRT, AND FREQUENTLY HAVE TO BE LEFT IN THE ELEVATOR WITH HER WHEN PEARL AND 8 LEAVE.

yesterday was very odd for me and im genuinely just... im in shock honestly. i worked from 6am to 10pm outside with my garden and me and a bunch of my family and neighbors were working on a barn and coop for the animals i may be able to get soon. usually, i am bed bound and i cant even get out of my house on good days. am i recovering?? this was so odd ive genuinely never been able to work that hard... ever! like im so sore and im in horrible pain and my skin burns but it feels good. im still giddy from it and its been 6 hours

i genuinely think gardening and farming might help me recover physically and mentally. i havent done heroin or fentanyl today or yesterday (tbf its 4am) and im just... i didnt even think about it. sure i was in pain but i was so focused it... didnt feel real. it felt like i was in a sped up youtube video.

My body is not my own

Yet still, I manage to survive

so many leftists have never thought about disability beyond "the ADA is good i guess!". seeing people use language like "brain damaged." "governor hot wheels." protests not being accessible. community gatherings above stairs, in spaces that can't accommodate power chairs, with no language access. i've missed so many #realleftistsonly events because they weren't accessible. and when i see leftists regurgitating the ideas they've seen and heard online and in real life without critically questioning *why* this is believed or *why* they're using this language, they lose so much of their credibility. you aren't a #realleftist if you spread ableist language and ideas without thinking about it.

I was wanting to make a post about my experiences going on a Disney World vacation as a disabled person but honestly I’d like to vent about something else.

If you are traveling to anywhere, and you have someone in your party with disabilities, you need to be as accommodating as possible. If you and that person may have different needs that conflict, you two have to discuss this and figure it out.

My brother has ADHD and probably several undiagnosed issues as well. I have Autism. Tourettes, Epilepsy, and FND alongside several mental health issues.

I get it. I wanted him to be able to enjoy his trip too. Issue is, I have higher support needs, and I sometimes can put myself at risk for a medical emergency if I am overwhelmed. Our family ended up prioritizing me because of this.

The issue arises when my brother ends up getting jealous because I happen to require more attention to ensure I am safe and able to enjoy myself. Also he just is… not understanding? He says I act like I’m “SPED” whenever I bother him. Though this can sometimes result in my brother feeling like everything gets centered around me or that I’m too demanding. He’s even told me he thinks I’m exaggerating how I react when overstimulated because I’m unable to mask well. He also did some other things that eventually would trigger me into having more anxiety and being at risk for issues, such as cursing me out when our other family members weren’t listening. He also accused me of having a victim complex. I was left scared to say anything because he told me that everyone would agree with him if I spoke up. I later learned this was very much not the case.

When we weren’t having conflicts, the trip went smoothly and everyone was very understanding. I was fortunate to get accommodations due to my autism. While I had my moments of overstimulation, I was able to make it through with some fidgets I had on a necklace, as well as a rental ECV to help with my mobility issues.

I’m trying to remain optimistic here, because some parts did go great. However, it’s difficult. Be honest if I do sound like I was being a jerk to my brother. I am guilty of being harsh.
