Actually, no, about that last anon - transmasc culture is accepting all transmasc people, regardless of the transition they have, if they don't transition or if they do it socially or only medically or ANYTHING. Transmasc culture is accepting all trans men and transmasculine people. Transmasc culture is standing behind your brothers and siblings, regardless of pronouns, appearance, disability, race, money, or the way they present their gender.
Transmasc culture is being masculine or androgynous or feminine. Being all of them. Breaking gender stereotypes. And transmasc culture is saying a big fuck you to the people who want you to be masculine so they can demonize you like a cis man despite being trans, or saying a big fuck you to the people who want you to be feminine so they can call you 'men-lite'.
You're a full ass person, man or nonbinary man or man-adjacent, and you DESERVE to be RESPECTED like a whole ass fucking person.
Transmasc culture is standing with YOU.
hey guys. my name’s chris. i was born christina. from the time I was five years old, I knew I was trans. and I spent my high school years being picked on for being too boyish. Art was my escape. Through art, I could draw my body exactly how I wanted it to look.
This year I turned 18, and finally told my mom and dad I’m trans. I wanted to do it before Christmas, so I could spend my first Christmas out of hiding. I knew my parents would be upset, but I didn’t expect them to kick me out.
Sadly, they turned on me. they said they loved me, but that i’d be a bad influence on my five-year-old brother. a big part of me is relieved that I’ll be out of the house, but the other part of me is freaking the fuck out. i’m jobless and broke. i have three more weeks before I have to pay rent and groceries all on my own. I’ll be looking for a job, but in the meantime I'm desperate to have the security of a month’s rent.
Please PLEASE help me. if you can even give $5 … it will help so much.
Your identity is more important than the comfort of transphobes
one time i told a friend “hey we cant be friends anymore if the second you learn my deadname you use it for me.” and then she shut up and never did it again.
Most of you know I am a transsexual. I do not hide it and I have never tried to.
I am also a college student. Like many Americans, I cannot really afford to be there. Many trans people like me cannot afford higher education either.
Transgender people don’t have the same kind of opportunities that cisgender people do. Either you live a lie and torture yourself because you know your family will forsake you if you say anything, you tell them everything and are kicked out, or you are lucky enough to get a neutral to positive response. Yes, neutral is lucky.
The trans folks that say nothing and live in agony being unsupported and trapped can maybe go to college but know that if they say anything their tuition might be out the door, that their parents or family or guardians will throw them to the wolves. So they either suffer in silence or end up committing suicide.
The trans folks that came out and were kicked out have basically no chance at ever going to college. You might be able to get government and private loans, but you’ll be drowning in debt by the end of it all. Debt you may never be able to pay off alone.
The remaining lucky ones most likely still come from low to middle income families that can’t really afford college anyways. It is a borderline no-win scenario.
How is this fair? Can’t everybody see this is cruel? This is a struggle faced by all queer people, but is intensified by the trans label. We are easy targets.
I was once talking to a girl who was also queer, but not trans. I said, “Rae, in my state, it is illegal for me to use a public restroom. It is illegal for public institutions to give me my life saving medication. I have almost no rights. We are witnessing a modern-day segregation.” I live in Florida.
She turned to me and said, “You know it’s hard for me too. There are like, no gay bars in my city. No fun ones anyway.”
I felt like I had been slapped. I never really talked to her again.
Of course, all queer people face oppression, but for her to dismiss the violent and dangerous actions that are being taken against my people in favor of her own problems highlights a deeper issue with the attitude towards trans people.
We are an afterthought.
We are different.
Other people are so far removed from the plight of trans people that they do not recognize how privileged they are by comparison and damn it I refuse to be an afterthought for much longer.
I do not want to live in quiet, secret moments anymore. I do not want to be in the shadows and behind closed doors. I want to feel comfortable out in the open. I shouldn’t have to hide. Let me wear what I want and be what I am. Let me hold my boyfriend’s hand in public. Let me be able to take off my binder or just not wear it at all. Let my people have healthcare and basic human decency. Let us get an education and let us use the goddamn bathroom. Let us. Let us. Let us.
Weird bug I found as a kid bit me
Why are you trans: wrong answer edition. Tell us why you're trans, wrong answers, though :)

So it's popped up in my feed uncredited again.
I made this fun design and posted it on redbubble awhile back. and then people started reposting the picture, removing the water mark and not crediting me.
It looks pretty simple but I put work into this. On top of that I'm a Black disabled queer who has no money right now. If they had linked it back to my shop I wonder how many more sales I would have.
Be mindful about sharing what look like memes, this picture looks pretty clear at being a redbubble sticker design. Also I've seen "memes" where it was clear so much work was put into it reposted with 0 credit. It might seem not that harmful but for us creators, especially when we create to help supplement our income it heartbreaking.
Dear whoever stole my work originally, you put the effort to remove the watermark, why couldn't you put the link back to my store? It's also very "funny" stealing a design about paying trans people for their time/energy and actively stopping the trans creator from making money.
Please share to help spread the word
different from my usual content but im posting this on all of my blogs (that i actually use regularly) to help spread it around
Thank you!!
i love you, trans guys who don't or can't pass. i love you if you can't grow facial or body hair, if your voice is high and you can't or won't lower it, if you refuse to cut your hair short, if you can't bind due to health reasons or just won't, if you can't afford HRT or surgeries, if you have softer rounder features, wide hips, big breasts or whatever else strangers can't seem to get past, i love you. i love you, the man you are, and the way you show the world what different men can and do look like. passing is not your rite into manhood, you are a man regardless of whether or not you ever pass or even try to.
anyone of any gender or identity can use whatever pronouns they want. trans men can use she/her, trans women can use he/him, nonbinary people don't have to use they/them or neopronouns, genderfluid people don't have to alternate pronouns, anyone can use they/them, it/its, ze/hir, xe/xem or neopronouns, cishet people can use whatever pronouns they want. anyone can use whatever pronouns they want
pronouns are not locked or tied to genders. destroy the binary in your mind that dictates that pronouns have an assigned gender, presentation, or identity. they don't. the only thing a pronoun set means about you is that you like to use those pronouns. have fun, be yourself
My father is going to kick me out due to not helping out around the house enough, I have severe executive dysfunction and I can barely take care of my own room alone, I'm planning to move out and live with my partner but I don't have enough money saved up because art isn't doing very well right now
I'm 20 and only have 500 dollars to my name right now, I can't get a 'real job' like he wants from me
If you know anyone who wants furry art or just wants to donate to a cause then share this post
Donations and commissions are both available in the link below
This site has been going around Twitter trans accounts quite a bit lately, so just pointing out here too that it'll do fuck all, they're exploiting trans people at a time when hrt is particularly hard to access and please don't give them your money
Exactly.
Happy pride month to y’all. Wishing only good things and nice parades. Support us so we can organise the parade as well. The link below. May everyone be blessed. Share and reblog. Lets fight homophobia together.

So Arizona launched an “education hotline” that allows “concerned parents” to report “””critical race theory””” and other things like ~gender identity~ being taught in the classroom
It would be a shame if the number and email were spread to bad actors looking to prank call the AZ Department of Education

Hey y'all, I'd appreciate anyone from the UK signing this petition to allow trans/nonbinary kids to stay closeted from their parents if they're out at school. It's obviously very important that children be able to keep potentially dangerous information about their identity away from their parents, and explore it safely in a school environment.
If it reaches 10k votes the government must respond, and 100k means they need to debate it, but any votes are good for raising awareness and profile.
If you're not from the UK please share this so others see it

Monday, May 15th: Hello everyone, I’m Gemma, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I'm still struggling to pay my rent which is two weeks overdue.
As most of you are already aware from my previous posts, I have been struggling financially these past few years due to Covid-19 and my welfare benefit (Universal Credit) being under continuous reviews, which is due to my worsening mental/physical health and the UK’s controversial changes to how benefits are assessed and assigned. And after a lengthy health assessment, I have been declared not to be fit for work, however, I am still waiting for the outcome of my Adult Disability application, which I applied for back in January.
To be quite honest, these past few months have been absolute hell for me, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by. However, due to my outstanding debt, my benefit last month was taken and I wasn't able to pay my rent or utilities, and the funds that I received to pay off everything were recently taken by more overdue bills and fees. (I missed a council tax payment and was charged for the full years amount.)
If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much. Thank you so much for all your help!! ❤

Howdy y’all, It’s been awhile since I’ve updated my gofundme or talked about it for a myriad of reasons but finally found the time and spoons to sit down and do it. I hate to post it at all but I could still very much use any support I can get, and wanted to give my thanks for all of the attention and support I’ve gotten up to this point. Any interaction on this post is super appreciated, thank y’all so much.
I just signed up to offer mutual aid to other trans people in distress though the Trans Resistance Network (US focused). There are tons of ways to help, many of which do not cost money.

Hey everyone!
Queer person here trying to get top surgery before the political transphobia burst in my country as it is happening in the US and UK right now.
Any amount donated helps, every share is crutial.
Thank you so much guys!
Since this post was so popular and people seemed to like my ideas, here - have a poll about it! (Options are given as Abbreviation // Stands for // Pronounced)
If you are non-binary but prefer using binary honorifics, please feel free to note that in the tags as well! Binary folks (cis or trans) are welcome to reblog as well (and feel free to note that in the tags) 😊
Also don't forget to fill out the Gender Census if it applies and you haven't already, and feel free to add in any of these options if you want!
Please reblog for a larger sample size.
Only had one bathroom growing up
Cause I heard that people actually did have gendered bathrooms in their houses and I'd love to know how popular that actually was. Please answer only if you actually had this split, not if you've seen it in others. I anticipate the rate will be skewed, but I think the results will be interesting nonetheless.
Hey everyone if you have a second to stop and read my story. Even if you cant donate share this along.
I recommend trans people who live in Missouri to watch this… Things have been getting worse. Make sure to check the your state here (It was bad enough they were attacking trans youth but at this point they’re now going after trans adults) PLEASE if you are cis and know of any transfolks let them know and share this video with them. Things are getting scary for us out there. PLEASE share this to let other transfolks or others receiving gender-affirming care to know where is safe for them. The USA is trying to Ban us out of existence. ❤️ Remember to stay safe. You are important, you are loved and you’re not alone. ❤️
