( I generally don't know that much about sonic or zonic . Sorry so I try to make a story. Sorry if I get off topic or don't describe sorry )
Zonic the Zone Cop had always been serious about his duties, donning a special uniform complete with a helmet and gloves in his dull metallic blue that contrasted strongly with the bright worlds he protected. His life simply revolved around maintaining order in the multiverse, but that focus left little room for anything else.
You came into his life on one of those routine missions. An anomaly had popped into the No Zone, causing chaos through the dimensions. Zonic needed help. The first time he approached you, it was strictly tactical-you were different, a puzzle he needed to solve. It wasn't long before you discovered you possessed a special kind of power-one that made you both a target of allies and enemies.
The initial tension that had existed amongst you would eventually melt into something warmer. Zonic's serious demeanor would soften whenever he looked at you, your laughter breaking through his walls, and those moments of shared glances turning into something palpable. On one evening with flickering lights from a dimensional portal as the background, you shared stories about your lives.
You had told him about your dreams, about your fears, and about the void that followed you. Zonic listened with a heart that tugged at every word you said; he was impressed with your strength, your resilience. But he also knew what was at stake: his growing attraction to you went against his mission. You were an anomaly, a threat to the multiverse's stability.
When the No Zone finally decided that he was compromised by your bond with him, Zonic was faced with an important decision: destroy the threat you posed or fight for what he had grown to hold dear. It came down to that one final, desperate moment when you unleashed a power you had been concealing. Still pulsating with energy enough to save or destroy all he'd worked for.
"Zonic," you said, voice trembling, "if I am the menace, then I will go. I would not want to bring disarray upon this place."
He shook his head. "You are more than that. I cannot let you go."
For the first time in his life, Zonic found his duties colliding with the intention of his heart. All his life, he had guarded order up to this day, and this emotion was new. Right and dangerous.
You were pitted against the villains who threatened the multiverse in an epic battle. You both combined your skills in the fight against those very forces that Zonic had sworn to defend. The battle was fierce: Zonic fought like a determined hero, while you manipulated your powers to create pathways through chaos.
Just when victory seemed at hand, the multiverse began to shudder. The choice loomed: sacrifice for the greater good or fight against the system he once served. Zonic came to a conclusion.
"I'll take the risk," he said, catching your hand. "We'll face this together."
You two called upon your powers one last time, in that final burst of energy to rebalance creation, but at a terrible cost. Zonic felt a piece of himself get sucked away as the multiverse finally righted itself.
After that, memories flickered like stars of what you had shared. Alone, Zonic stood amidst a void where you had been, his painful reminder. Yet in his heart, love endured—a more constraining force than duty.
He would press on with the quest, but now, with your essence upon his heart, he crossed the obstacles love had, and vowed to protect the multiverse-for you.
Zonic stood on the cusp of the void, the echoes of your existence lingering in his brain. He had so believed in the clear-cut lines and stark demarcations of duty and responsibility. But here, those demarcations were blurred. A heavy feeling in his chest was there to remind him of what he had fought so hard to protect. You were more than just an anomaly; you had become his anchor to a chaotic multiverse.
He remembered the first time he encountered you. It had been a routine mission, one which had become anything but. You were different from anyone he had ever encountered. Your laughter cut through tension that enveloped his serious world. It was disarming. Zonic had tried compartmentalizing his feelings, focusing solely on the task at hand. Yet, every moment spent with you chipped away at the walls he had built around his heart.
And then, as weeks mounted, Zonic learned about your past. You had faced struggles that would have broken others, but you rose with each scar a testament to resilience. He admired that strength. It was something he had never fully understood until he saw it in you. You were not a puzzle to solve, but a force of nature. Zonic had found solace in your stories during the quiet moments, when the chaos of their missions faded into the distance. You'd shared with him your dreams of a world not ruled by chaos, where you belonged. He wished he could promise you that world.
But over him loomed duty, like a storm cloud. The No Zone had its verdict clear: your existence was a threat, a menace to the multiverse. Zonic knew that weight well on his shoulders. He had always chosen order over emotion. But now, faced with the possibility of losing you, everything began to be questioned. Was he really capable of sacrificing what he found? With the thought, a cold thrill ran down his spine.
But when finally the villains appeared, they were unstoppable. Zonic fought hard; his will was stronger than ever. But it was your power that turned the tide. You were carving paths in the chaos. You had become a partner in the best way. Yet as the battle wore on, the multiverse began to shudder once more. A reminder that their bond was precarious. Zonic felt a creep of fear-loss, failure.
In that climactic moment, as you both were unleashing your combined energies, Zonic made a choice. He grasped your hand, grounding himself in the decision he had made. Consequences would be paid together. The power surged, and he felt everything shift. The multiverse stabilized, but at a price: a part of himself was lost now, etched into the fabric of the universe.
Alone, he stood after the battle, his memories of you flickering like distant stars. They were the reminders of what he had sacrificed. Yet in that emptiness, something else pulsed. Love. It pulsed within him, a defiant glow against the shadows of duty. Zonic vowed to carry your essence forward. He would protect the multiverse, not just for order, but for the love that had transformed him. It was a new purpose, a new fight. The mission would still be there, but now guided by your spirit.
This was actually awful. Sorry for the shoddy art.. I used absolutely 0 references because it was a memory challenge.

Hello!!! Can I request a sonic and shadow comforting the reader after her boyfriend broke up with her? Sonic and Shadow have feelings for the reader but whether or not they tell the reader is up to you! :) Thank you!!
A/n: I assume you meant like together, but idk.
It had been hours, maybe more, since the breakup. The words still echoed in your head. "This isn’t working." So simple, so emotionless. It made you question everything. Just like that? Did they ever even care?
Now you sat curled on your couch, clutching a blanket around you like it was the only thing keeping you from falling apart. The TV played a random show in the background, but you weren’t watching. Instead, you just sat there sulking, replaying every moment that led up to this heartbreak.
What you didn’t expect was to hear a familiar tap-tap-tap on your window.
Sonic.
"Yo, Y/N!" Sonic’s voice rang out, cheerful as always. You turned your head, sniffling as Sonic perched on your window ledge like it was the most natural thing in the world. "Mind if I come in?"
You wiped your face quickly with your sleeve. "What are you doing here, Sonic?"
The blue hedgehog grinned, hopping into your room with practiced ease. "I could feel the gloom all the way across town. Thought I’d check in on ya." Then he paused when he got a closer look at your face, red eyes, tear-streaked cheeks. The grin faltered.
Oh.
You looked away, embarrassed. "I’m fine."
"Yeah, and I’m slow." Sonic’s tone was sarcastic as he plopped down onto the couch next to you. "C’mon, spill it. What happened?"
You hesitated. Sonic was your friend, someone who always managed to make you smile, even when you didn’t want to. He leaned forward, his eyes fixed on you with genuine concern.
"My boyfriend broke up with me," you mumbled, voice shaking despite yourself. "Just... out of nowhere. I don’t even know what I did wrong..."
Sonic’s expression darkened for a split second, something uncharacteristic for him, but he covered it quickly, leaning back against the couch like he was trying to play it cool. "His loss."
You sighed. "Sure doesn’t feel like it."
"Trust me. I’ve seen a lot of losers, and this guy? He’s one of ‘em," Sonic said, pointing his thumb in a random direction like your ex was out there somewhere. "If he couldn’t see how awesome you are, then he’s well, not the brightest."
You managed a small smile at that, sniffling again. Sonic noticed and immediately grabbed a tissue box from the table, shoving it into your lap. "Here. Don’t drown the couch, ‘kay?"
"Thanks," you said weakly, dabbing at your face.
Sonic shifted a bit closer, his carefree nature dimmed by genuine concern. "Look… I know it doesn’t help much right now, but you’re gonna get through this. Breakups suck. They’re messy, and they hurt." He scratched the back of his head like he was picking his words carefully. "But you’re one of the strongest people I know. You’ll bounce back. And when you do, you’ll look back on this and realize you deserve way better."
You swallowed thickly. "It doesn’t feel like I’m strong…"
"Hey, strength isn’t about never hurting." Sonic nudged your arm lightly. "It’s about getting back up, even when it feels like you can’t. And I know you can."
The kindness in his words made your chest ache. You turned to Sonic. "Thanks... Really."
He gave you a soft smile. “Anytime, Y/N.”
Just as the moment settled, there was a knock at the door.
You blinked, confused.
Before you could move, Sonic smirked knowingly. "Oh, I know who that is."
You got up slowly, opening the door to find Shadow standing there, arms crossed, eyes sharp as ever.
"Shadow?"
"Hmph." Shadow looked you over, taking note of your puffy eyes and slumped shoulders. "You didn’t answer your phone."
You glanced back at the couch where your phone was buried under a pile of blankets. Shadow seemed to notice, stepping inside uninvited. He locked eyes with Sonic, who waved casually from the couch.
"Took you long enough, Shads," Sonic teased.
Shadow ignored him, turning his attention back to you. "What happened?"
You hesitated again. Sonic answered for you. "Her boyfriend dumped her."
Shadow’s fists clenched at his sides, but his voice remained calm. "Is that so?"
"It’s fine," you said quickly. "Really. I don’t want to talk about it anymore."
Shadow stared at you for a long moment before shaking his head. "No, it’s not fine."
You let out a shaky breath, trying to hold it together. "I just… I don’t know why it hurts so much. I feel like I wasn’t good enough."
"You are."
The conviction in Shadow’s tone startled you. He took a step closer, his usually cold demeanor softening in a way you rarely saw. "Don’t let the actions of a fool define your worth. You’re better than that."
"See?" Sonic chimed in, grinning. "At least we can both agree on something!"
Shadow shot him a glare before continuing. "Dont compare yourself with me."
You let out a shaky laugh.
"See? Thats the spirit! But you know what you need? Ice cream. And a movie marathon. I vote action movies."
"Absolutely not," Shadow countered immediately. "They needs rest, not mindless chaos."
You let out a small laugh at their bickering. "Both sound kind of nice, actually."
Sonic beamed. "That’s the spirit!"
Shadow sighed but didn’t argue. "Fine. But no ridiculous stunts."
The two of them spent the rest of the day with you, Sonic cracking jokes, Shadow keeping a careful eye on you. They didn’t leave your side, not until you were smiling again.
A/n: I think I made sonic and shadows feelings too subtle...

“Hey, you know everyone already left, right?” That familiar blue blur the village knows and loves comes through the doorway, crossing his arms and leaning against the sofa as he looks you up and down, obviously skeptical about your continued presence in the hut. “What’cha still doing here? I thought Sticks was really urging you to go.”
You shrug your shoulders, letting a yawn slip out as you wave him off, shutting your eyes as the hammock swings gently at your movement. A nice, sundown nap is in order.
“You didn’t feel like going with them?” You don’t bother opening your eyes, but give him a curt nod as you feel his presence beside you, hearing the tapping of his foot against the hard, wooden floor. “Well, why don’t you just come with me then? I’m about to run a couple laps to and back from the beach.”
Booooringgg. You click your tongue in disapproval, but open up an eye to peek at him, curious about the fact that he invited you to hang out with him in the first place. Usually he’d just bug Tails about things like that, or challenge Knuckles to a couple rounds of golf. Well, maybe you’re just a last resort, considering the fact that you’re the only one here…
“That doesn’t interest you either, huh?” Sonic tilts his head, his ear twitching at your silent agreement with a nod. Words aren’t even necessary. No point in wasting your breath on them.
He pouts, staring at you silently putting his gloved hands right on his hips, cocking his head to the other side as his foot keeps on tapping on the floor. After a few beats of silence, he nudges you in an annoying manner, causing you to let a small curse slip between your lips as you gaze up at him.
“Alright, scoot over.”
What?
Sonic grins as he shakes the hammock, forcing a yelp through your lungs as he urges you to make way for him, climbing inside the hammock to snuggle against you before you can even utter a refusal. Idiot.
He chuckles, a cheeky, clearly amused grin on his face as he presses his cheek against yours, a soft purr rumbling from within his chest as his playful demeanor falters for a moment, enjoying the warmth emitting from your body. If you weren't so bugged out with him currently, you would’ve teased him for his animalistic behavior, but the thought slipped out of your mind the second it entered once you feel another purr ring from him. Lucky bastard.
You scowl, nudging him away from you. You were having a nice, relaxing time, and then all of a sudden he wants to butt in like this?
“Oh, what?” Sonic grins at you, relishing in your embarrassed expression. “You’re acting like you don’t like it. I know you do.” Your scowl doesn’t falter with his statement. And what brings him to that assumption?
“Cause if you didn’t, you could’ve pushed me outta here already.” Sonic murmurs, that stupid sly grin popping back on his face as he straddles over your figure, before you can utter a protest to his statement, and he leans down to kiss your neck, letting his tongue lap up the spot briefly, before leaning more towards the right to suck gently, nipping at it with his teeth.
Oh.
You flinch at the wet feeling plastered on your neck, but soon settle down, stifling back a groan as he draws his tongue across your jawline, leaning so close to your face that your lips briefly touch against each other.
“You didn't need to go with the others anyway.” He says, a small growl behind his words. “It’s more fun with me, yeah?” Sonic groans at his own impatience, leaning in as soon as he finishes his sentence, running his tongue against the tip of your fang with a small growl following afterward, pleased at your reaction to his advance once you reach your hand over to hold his, intertwining your fingers with his as he pins it down to the hammock.
Suddenly, Sonic angrily nips at your bottom lip, almost begging for your tongue to make contact with his, and you comply with his begging as he whines softly in the kiss, clearly happy with your decision, though he’ll never say it out loud. His ego’s much too big for something like that, but displaying his affections for you in a hut where anyone from the group could walk in is just fine. Hmm.
The kiss is cut short as Sonic breaks away, panting softly above you and chuckling softly. “Sorry. I dunno what’s up with me today…” Maybe some self-evaluation would do him some good.
… Who’re you kidding? You know you don’t care.
Sonic’s soft breathing mixes with yours, along with his soft kisses against your cheek, shifting slightly on top of you as his leg straddles your body, cuddling and bringing you closer.
What a loser.
You groan in a fake annoyed tone, muttering curses towards him as he laughs beside you, yet you snuggle closer to his chest and those curses turn into gentle kisses leading up his chest, tugging away his brown bandana with your teeth, and you relish in the sound of Sonic’s laughs cut short, and his breath hitching in his throat, his hand resting itself on your hips before making its way up your own torso,
Eh. This isn’t so bad. You should stay back and just relax in Sonic’s Hut more often. Alone.
Yeah…
