You have no idea how happy this made me!!

The final is on Tuesday and I am starting to feel the burnout. I’ve been working 8 hours every day and then coming home and doing chemistry for another five, and I’ve been doing 8-10 hour studying on Saturdays and Sundays. So waking up to you message this morning before I got to work on the final review absolutely made my day! I came back to look at it on my breaks and thought about it when I started getting frustrated. Thank you so much for thinking about me. It was so sweet and kind and I appreciate you so much!!! I hope you don’t mind hugging because I really, really wanna give you one!

Tech is a Giant Schnauzer

This is a breed I didn’t know about before my discord friends suggested it. They’re very loving and playful. They don’t adapt to change terribly well, but they are very smart and trainable, since they are a working breed. It’s like these good doggos were made for Tech!!

He is a retired service dog, but you would never know it for how poorly-behaved he can be. He has a flagrant disregard for house rules such as no dogs on the furniture, and no being under the table during mealtimes. Tech knows how to open the cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms, and the fridge door too! So Crosshair has had to childproof everything. For some reason Tech especially likes to steal strings. He doesn’t do anything with them, just hoardes them in his dog bed. He will take shoelaces off shoes if you’re not careful!

The reason Tech had to retire is because he has late onset PRA, and has been going blind for the last few years. He doesn’t let it get in his way, though! He relies more heavily on his hearing and smell, and he’s just as curious and excited to explore and cause trouble as he ever was.

Omega is a lil blonde dobie with the biggest puppy eyes you ever saw!!

The back gate was left open once and Hunter got loose. He spent a day away and when he came home, he brought a lil puppy with him! She had no tag or chip, so after a vet checkup, she got a new set of tags and her own, puppy-sized bed next to Hunter’s (though she much prefers Hunter’s bed, especially when he’s in it)

(We decided that Hunter was a German Shepherd, but I love dobies and I couldn’t help myself. Maybe I’ll make a shepherd Hunter later)

Drawing all the expressions was an absolute blast! I’ve been spamming the discord WIP channel with them for weeks

Here’s a WIP since I know I’ve been kinda quiet lately. Chemistry has been really hard🥺

APPLICATIONS OPEN!

Thank you all so much for your patience! Applications for page artists, writers, chefs and merch designers are now open! In addition, the mods have decided to expand applications to include spot artists and writers! These contributors would be paired with someone else to create text like notes on a recipe (spot writer) or small art to illustrate a story or recipe (spot artist).

NOT ONLY THAT but there will also be TWO digital add-on portions to the zine! One for recipes that are all things baking, desserts, brunch, drinks and more! (More information on what can be submitted in the application).

The second add-on will be a Clone OC Showcase! Following the theme of the zine, contributors will be allowed to create artwork or stories for their OC's! Spot artists may also apply for the OC add-on and be paired with a writer to illustrate their writing.

You can apply for however many positions you would like but may be limited to where you are accepted due to only a certain amount of spots being available in the physical zine. The digital add-ons will have open spots.

This is how you apologize for Art Crimes!!!

Did OP trace someone else’s art? Yes. Did they do it because they wanted to profit off the art? A little: the posted it on social media, after all. Did they transform the art significantly enough and with the clear skill of an artist who knows how to use a reference? Yes. They clearly know how to draw and proportion things.

WHEN THEY WERE CALLED OUT DID THEY APOLOGIZE AND REPOST THE TRACED ART IN CONTEXT WITH ALL THE WORK BOTH THEY AND THE ORIGINAL ARTIST DID? YES!!!

Should OP have traced the art? No. They are clearly an excellent artist themself who could have done this on their own using the original artist’s art for reference rather than a base. And they’ve owned up to it and given credit where credit is due.

Ell hates getting wet but she loves the rain. Where she grew up near the desert coastlines on Savareen, it only rained a few times a year. She loved to go running in the runoff that filled the arroyo. Now, whenever the Temple gardens have a shower scheduled, you can be sure she’ll be there with an umbrella to splash in the puddles <333
