“Any clues as what you think is going to happen next session?” Robin asks as she steps into the auto shop and offers the halfblooded a cup of his disgustingly black coffee as she takes a sip from her frapuccino. Their last session had ended rather abruptly by an emergency and now they are about to enter a rather big battle with all their characters at different levels of health which is unfortunate for all involved. “I have some potions but not quite enough for everyone I think.”
"Get a grip, we are at war. I know sex is all new and novel for you, but it will still be there after we defeat the drows," Robin calls out, rolling her eyes at Zahrya's incredible sense of timing. There is a time and a place for everything, and the middle of the battlefield is surely not the time for sex, unless he had the audacity to think they were losing. But if that were the case, she would be more pissed about his lack of faith on their abilities than his desire for one last desperate fuck before he died. "Frankly, I couldn't give less of a fuck of your hot date, considering that we have yet to defeat any drow of importance. "
Between the Chancellors being inside of each other and the sensation of crushing the earth beneath their combined power, Zahrya fell out of the Titan leaking nectar like it was the height of spring in spite of his exhaustion. Luckily he didn't fall too far before being scooped into an enormous, scaly bosom which he happily found comfort in. "Chancellor, His Majesty is giving us a wonderful soundtrack for what the mortals call a hot date," Zahrya responds from atop Alastor, barely turning his head to acknowledge Robin. Zahrya's magic reached explosive magnitude when he and Alastor came together, so he was irritated that he had to remove demonic scales from his lips to speak. "I cannot believe you'd interrupt our couple's time for something so trivial. Clearly, I have more urgent matters to attend to than the locations of the others," Zahrya continues, never halting his stroking of Alastor's horn for a second. Yes, Mery's continued destruction of Rome had him feeling incredibly fertile. He never knew war could be so erotic.

“Bit of a gut punch,” he offers Robin a sour expression for if she’s too paint him as a complete evildoer, the Archer is not about to exhaust himself fighting against such imagery. He’d thrived off of fear and anger, it led him to this pivotal moment of their friendship where now they were mere strangers once more, torn apart by violence spurred by hatred and confusion. “You must think I’m doin’ way more than working for them. I don’t have any clearance into those labs,” it’s a half-whisper considering she’s jumping right in when they’re on the line for coffee, but he’ll settle for duking it out with her as he waited.
“You know, that does it make me feel a bit better for trusting you for so long,” she muses thoughtfully as she settles by his side to wait for the line to move. It is almost amusing to hear him struggle to half-whisper, not realizing that she had thrown a privacy spell around the two as soon as she had stepped closer. Robin wasn’t careless, for fuck’s sake. She knew the meaning of subtlety, but she also was petty and vindictive, and worrying Wade just a little bit was far too amusing for her right now. “The fact that you do have morals, I mean. Makes it easier to believe you are just incapable to withstanding peer pressure, and not willingly malicious,” she comments carelessly before rising a brow. “The labs are not the only suspect thing of the whole organization and you know it.”
"Would you believe if I say that my current courage is thanks to your actions?" Robin coos almost playfully, eyes cold and death as she faces the human she had once trusted and taught but had done nothing but betray her since the moment they met. There is no denying that she had been a naive fool, far too fascinated with humanity to see the vipers hidden beneath the shape forged by Prometheus to look just like them. The once perfect vessel to the gods, reduced to cockroaches at Eden's fall. They could not kill them all, but there was no need to. As enterprising and creative as humanity could be, their deaths were as easy as plucking one heart string and watch their entire circulatory system collapse as a result. Perhaps there was good amidst their kind, but Wade had always been a hypocrite, willing to put the blinders on and ignore reality just to adhere to his stubbornly idiotic viewpoints. Perhaps humanity as a whole was rotten, and there were individuals that were good, but no matter how many delusions Wade filled his head with, the truth was simple: he had long since lost the right to call himself a good man. All that was left of the young man she had once helped trained had suffered a slow suffocating death since he reached Rome, and died as his knife sunk on her side. "I must thank you really, if weren't for your betrayal, I wouldn't have gotten the idea of my Autumn Boon. Did you not like it? I made it specially for you, so that you knew what it felt to have a dear friend stab you in the back."

"Oh, dear. Are you alright, Wade?" Robin wonders mockingly as she sits next to him at Killjoy's bar and sends him a faux concerned looked as she takes him in slowly. There is something different about the human, danger blaring on her sense as she sits next to him, but she does not knot it comes from her boldness at entering a hunter friendly establishment or something more. Regardless, she has paid precautions, having mentioned of her desire to purview the establishment to one of the vampire marshals and Davheira, and with the new laws, she doubts any hunter would risk to attack her all too openly. And if they choose to do it in the dark? She will be ready and grinning, knowing they took the bait. " You look a little yeasty, as if you had just battled a fungal infection."

It was good to have someone to lean on when things weren’t going well. Vincenzo was lucky enough to say that he had a few. He knew his mother would always be there for him no matter what. There was also August and Emory. Even though August was…well, August. He had never judged the witch before and he was sure to never do it for the rest of the time he was around. However long that would be. They would have to speak again at some point, but he wasn’t sure he was ready for that yet. Not right now. The witch was one of his dearest friends though. There was only so much time left both of them had. And they were tethered to each other now, bonded in something Vinny hadn’t even grown to fully understand yet. That was only one facet of the things he wouldn’t understand. Another was how someone like Robin was even giving him the time of day. Or even had in the past.
“That’s good to hear.” Maybe it would be good to have her around. Better than being stuck in this fucking hell he had gotten roped into. No, he would stop thinking that. Vincenzo hadn’t wanted mortality, but it had been thrust open him too many times to count. Whether he wanted it to be replaced by death or immortality, well, he was more uncertain about that than anything else. “Right.” That was all he said for a moment as she spoke. “Kind of. Not really. I had roommates. Haven’t really bothered to see them in a while though. Probably ‘cause of the whole, ya know, death.”
...
“Yeah, that ought to complicate things,” she agrees with a grimace as she glances down at the table and up again to face Vinny. A million thoughts slot themselves into place as she tilts her head in consideration. There is little she can do for him in the courts and the Otherworld, for even now it would be a rather terrible idea to invite him to step beyond the mortal realm, but that does not mean she doesn’t have options. With everything going on the Eye, she has a considerable number of safehouses hidden for her fellow fey, but even that seems lacking when it comes as an offer for Vinny. Instead, she does have — .
Well.
“If you would like, I happen to own an apartment in Rome. Most of the time, I do not reside there and thus it sits empty. All I ask is that the mess is kept to a minimum,” she comments gently, expression calm and fond even as her lips twitch as his continual referral to her undead status. Perhaps one day the reference will be amusing, but she is not quiet sure. “And of course, you will have to be alright with me dropping by more often than not, as it’s where I spend my free time more often than not.”

“I heard of the party to welcome Pluto back into the land of living once more, it sounds like it might have been delightful.” There is a secretive smirk on her lips as she approaches the Mars vampire she had frequent encounters with. “If you are willing, I would love to hear all about it.”

Dark eyes settle on Raja as she takes another sip of her martini, now taking her sweet time in responding to the fuming Autumn fey. She only looks back to her when a good-looking man with pointed ears interrupts Raja’s walking and offers him a drink, steering him towards the ballroom and briefly meeting Aurora’s eyes.
“... That isn’t just any human, that’s my family. Of course I gave him every protection.” Stern eyes soften into something akin to worry as she sighs and turns her attention to the other fey, Fen’harel’s distant family. Robin was one of her favorites in the Autumn nobility - more modern than many of her peers and with an admirable understanding for life that far extended the Otherworld. But she was also loud, and Aurora’s attention was stretched far too thin that night to focus on arguing with anyone. “I promised his mother that I would let him learn about the world completely on his own but, unfortunately, being ignorant in Rome now will just let him killed far quicker... So I’m speeding up the process of making him not ignorant, Robin... I don’t like it anymore than you do.” A pause. “Though I am grateful you care enough to say something.”
"Aurora, darling, dearest. Should I say that I have no words? But that would be lying, I have all the words, beginning with why and ending on what," she shakes her head in what can only be described at exasperation at the younger eladrin's actions. Before she even finishing speaking, a hundred and one plans form on her head, a hundred and one other possibilities in which Aurora could have revealed the truth to the poor human without risking his safety to a hungry crowd. Despite it all, though, she stays her tongue, deciding against further irritating the Chancellor when she already seems too stressed for words. “I will not utter another word, then, however I do suggest you begin phrasing your promises so that a loophole can be exploited, that promise of yours is not going to help him, even if it is what his mother wanted. After all, do you know if that is what he wants?” Then she shrugs. “Just doing my job as a good Samaritan, there is no need to thank me for it.”

“You can ask.” Yavie offered, for the first time since their conversation had started he offered a smile that was light, but brief. Their experiences obviously weren’t universal and though they came from the same season it was easier to count their fewer similarities than their vast differences. “But he’s a criminal, someone I should probably avoid anyways.” He took a sip from his drink, would that it was so easy to simply get the man out of his head. “I don’t think people would approve.”
...
“In that case, who is the fool that has captured your affections?” Her curiosity wins, once given permission, and she can’t get herself to take back the question because truly, she wants to know. Even more after Yavie continues speaking, the curiosity coursing through her veins as she speaks, head tilting in consideration as she tries to think on possible men that match that description. “A criminal? Surely, there must be something worthy on this man if you fell in love with him, even if it was only with the idea of him.”
