it’s the first official day of freshers week and i’ve got my uni opening ceremony is this morning! yesterday i also took part in my first uni tradition - the Pier Walk, which is where everyone walks down the old pier in their traditional red robes. it took FOREVER (literally stood around waiting for about two and a half hours) before we actually got to the end of the pier because there were so many people, but it was super fun and a great memory that i know i’ll have forever!
I had a lovely time with my friend D this weekend:
we went to a light & sound installation that was really impressive & fun,
had mala tang (I think I technically had mala ban?) for dinner,
tiny mock mojitos on my balcony before bed
and a delicious breakfast in my favourite café.
I'm now reading to bridge the gap between saying goodbye to D and meeting two friends for our museum sunday outing (museum sunday is a Thing in berlin and I love it).
we're going to see an exhibition on menstruation that's supposedly created with an intersectional feminist approach (which also means it uses trans inclusive language, very curious about that!)
Why is romanticizing school so hard please I just want to feel like Rory Gilmore

Got a new book today!
It's for a course i highly dislike, but the excitement of having a new book motivates me enough to study. It was a cold day outside, and I got to snuggle with a cat on our porch. Exams are closing in on me, but I have yet to panick about it :)
5/100 days of productivity
finally have the energy to do an intense journaling session before my gym sesh ~
Exam season is officially over for me!
I started studying during the year, trying to stay afloat (towards the end it was a bit too much too soon for me), and when exam season started i tried to be kind to myself.
I never gave up reading fantasy books, watching sports, going out with friends; if i got home late at night, tired after a day of studying out, i just went to bed, even though i could've forced some more studying.
It felt like i could've pushed more, spent more time going over the courses, but it was enough - i prioritized myself, avoided burnout, made studying more enjoyable and it all paid off.
This is me temporarily signing off
- a student who passed all of her exams with flying colors
You can do this too.
09.21.24 || all my studying photos look the same except the drink assortment which is very funny to me
Study study study
In two days it's my birthday and I'm stuck studying for exams :(
However, coloring the heck out of my books is helping with my morale (and the little doodles are also helping)
I will not lie, i tried to draw the opossum from memory. I discovered i dont know what an opossum looks like :)
I chose to waste time in a way I like, and everything aesthetic fills my soul
