🩷 15.06.2025 // I studied with a 90/15 schedule today and I'm feeling wayyy better than yesterday :)))
I did some physics, chemical analysis, a lot of immunopathology and some pharmacology! I'm glad my bf is here to help me do the past papers because everytime I'm reading one I'm panicking ://
I "only" studied 8 hours today but first I slept in a bit so it was nearly impossible to study more ahah (tomorrow I hope that I'll wake up earlier tho)
Also, tell me if you want more pictures of my cat as she spend all day in my bedroom, sleeping on my bed ahah
I had a lovely time with my friend D this weekend:
we went to a light & sound installation that was really impressive & fun,
had mala tang (I think I technically had mala ban?) for dinner,
tiny mock mojitos on my balcony before bed
and a delicious breakfast in my favourite café.
I'm now reading to bridge the gap between saying goodbye to D and meeting two friends for our museum sunday outing (museum sunday is a Thing in berlin and I love it).
we're going to see an exhibition on menstruation that's supposedly created with an intersectional feminist approach (which also means it uses trans inclusive language, very curious about that!)
Just because you have to study to achieve your dreams doesn't mean it can't be enjoyable
College has been a whole process for me. I did not know how to study, i did not know how to put effort into the right things, and most importantly, i did not know how to accept that my actions (or lack of) were the problem.
It took me years, but I've learned to accept that it's ok for me to need to study to be good when it comes to a subject, that college is a place for learning, not for being instantly good at something.
And now i can finally say that, without the subconscious frustration, i truly do enjoy learning new things, studying new subjects, and studying for the sake of knowing more, not just to pass exams.
It takes work, but it's all worth it.
good morning!!!! i got here in the hospital one hour early so i’m here in a nearby starbs, watching elementary yet again and eating my waffles. simple life pleasures. i had been so stressed lately i’m just taking it one step at a time. i hope my LRDR (labor room delivery room) duty today won’t be toxic.

When I study, it helps me a lot to write down the information, even if I don't go back to look at it, so it would've been a lot of paper waste on my part. I decided to get a tablet and I'm a huge Android fan. This is my Samsung tab s6, i got it second hand, and after one year of using it a lot, I still have no complaints!
Highly recommend it :)
(you can also attach a keyboard and make it a super portable 'laptop')
I request advice! I'll be starting on a new academic road this coming August and I desire to not use as much paper as I did in undergraduate.
For context, I'm a mathematics student for whom hand-typed notes are made more accessible by LaTeX but still not easily producible during a lecture, particularly if that lecture involves multiple operations, fractions within fractions, and symbols I haven't encountered before. In geometry classes, there is no hope. Moreover, practicing mathematics context is best done by hand, at least for me.
What I'm seeking are paper-less options that will still allow me to "hand write." I've seen iPad and Apple Pencil recommendations online, but I prefer non-Apple products. What has worked well for others, math or non-math?

Bus home: "Did you know I'm genuinely concerned I am unable to love?"
Study until you think you are perfect and then study some more because you are never perfect.

Got a new book today!
It's for a course i highly dislike, but the excitement of having a new book motivates me enough to study. It was a cold day outside, and I got to snuggle with a cat on our porch. Exams are closing in on me, but I have yet to panick about it :)
