jean moreau :
absolutely hate how I’m sitting in my bed giggling about a bitch named Kevin. Kevin. Kevin.
life goes something like this: you meet the best and the worst of yourself in other people. you come to terms that you are the universe experiencing itself. you get overwhelmed at 3 am being so close to seeing through the veil. you get what you give. and then, the next morning, you do it all over again, all over again, all over again.
'kevin has no redeeming qualities'
what does he need to be redeemed for
“everyone interprets characters differently” unfortunately so true! thankfully I was blessed with an intense preternatural insight into their core beings (watched and paid attention) and I don’t have to worry
neil and jean are a bonded pair of shelter cats. to me.
"I'm gay" "I'm straight" ...okay? I'm nothing in my soul if not obssesive
the five homoerotic love languages:
- intimate stabbing
- outright obsession
- confused pining
- "no one knows me like you do"
- lifelong promises that always sound suspiciously like wedding vows
we need a cuteness aggression equivalent term for when you see art of your favorite character you like so much that you sincerely cannot think of anything to put in the tags that isnt "im going to start biting off my own fingers"
i cannot stop thinking about the parallels between jean and neil. about how jean's story could have easily been neil's, had his mother not taken him and run. we see glimpses of jean's fire and, dare i say, attitude, with his povs during tsc, and how carefully he masks it all after years of abuse and torture. yes, neil is a fighter, but so is jean. when he was first sold to evermore, he pushed back time and time again until he was too tired to go on. if neil had been sold the way jean had, with nobody to save him, i think they would have ended up on the same path. they both mirrors of what could have been
yk i'm so happy neil josten is in a profession where he repeatedly has to sign his name on things and papers because no one would love reinforcing his name more than he himself. he doodles it. he practices it. his notebooks full of it. he's got a professional signature and a casual one. he loves his name more than anyone else.
