Cole finds his true potential and what is the first thing zane says?? This mans has the audactiy to go "His relationship with his father must of been holding him back." WITH LOU STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO HIM!!!
can we say that they gave us back Jay? yeah, i would say so Even though it was like 30 seconds, was it worth it to see him in just one scene in an entire season? OH MY FUCKING GOD JAY IN A SUIT OAOCIIQISIVIIAJXOAOOW IM NOT GOOD NONONO LIKE MY GOD IM NOTHIGN THAN NORMAL FRO HIMM
OKAY OKAY, I am evidently very excited for his 3 second scene, where I could see again the ass hole that was my wife. and precisely because I'm already loving (and also very hating) the plans that could be for Jay in DR-S2, draw him in a super badass villan way, was all I could do.
i lovw hom so much
I'm just waiting for either ideas to come to me to write him as a MANAGER AKOCOWOICIQ or for someone else to do it, I need it and I especially need to talk about it just like all day (or all the year until next season, it depends..)
(oh and it is like the very very veeery first time drawing a suit and also its lights, so if it looks a bit messy I'm sorry.. soon I will post other cunty ass-hole manager Jay and hope to improve)
Headcanon that Jay was given a really fancy name by his birth mom and Ed and Edna just went with it, but it just did NOT suit him and they were always trying to think of nicknames but none of them stuck, and they were so relieved when he came out as trans and changed his name that they didn't even care that he named himself after a minor crime.
Some doodles of Jay and Morro’s parents I am so normal about these two Liberty Justice (the blonde woman) used to be the elemental master of electricity but quit being a ninja to be an actor. She’s currently a popular actor and one of the main actresses in the Starfarer show. She’s very secretive of her private life and appears to have no family members. She appeared out of nowhere one day and rose in popularity. All the public knows is that she is currently single and divorced. Tai Lu (the black haired man) used to be the elemental master of wind but was rumored to have died due to a dragon attack. Wu seems to have a clear dislike of him. There are contradicting stories about him and people have a different view on him, some say he was a hero, some say he was a traitor working for garmadon. Also unrelated note but Morro is biologically blond and there might be a chance that Jay is too but they dye their hair.
So theres this theory circulating that Cole is red-green colorblind, right? Due to that one joke in MotM where he mistook the Skull of Hazadur as glowing red instead of green. And ive also seen a lot of people speculate that it came as a result of the green scar over his eye that was left behind when he passed through the Rift of Return. So basically the theory goes that from season 7 onward, Cole cant distinguish reds and greens. Which is funny, when you consider that he has a red teammate and a green teammate.
And Crystalized suggests that the ninja color-code themselves in part bc they cant tell each other apart otherwise, so Cole perceiving Kai and Lloyd's gis as the same color presents four different possibilities:
Cole is the only person on the team capable of telling who's who without relying on the color of their gi, and is disappointed by everyone else's incompetence
Cole straight up hasnt noticed. He just thinks Lloyd decided to copy Kai and dress like him as younger brothers are prone to do. A bit inconvenient in combat but hey, he can learn to work with this
Once the team discovered his colorblindness, Kai and Lloyd did their best to make their gis noticeably distinct so Cole wouldn't get confused. Then everyone else caught on and liked the idea of personalized gi styles and decided to follow suit, which is why everyone's gis begin to look less uniform and identical later in the series as opposed to, like, their team look in seasons 4-6
Cole can't actually tell Kai and Lloyd apart but is just really, really good at guessing.
