Hello!

Quick update: The cold is gone, but I still have coughs, but they're manageable lol. Also, I finally finished my project and submitted it! Ahh freedom at last.

The second thing I want to talk about is that I finished most of the ROS portraits on artbreeder. I just need to write their info and the ROS will be finally done!

Now I'm taking a little break and playing totk. Off topic, I really want to buy RE4 the remake someday.

Who blushes the most? What can the MC do to make them blush?

Aurelian:

Aurelian is not one to blush easily, but when MC surprises him with affection or care, he becomes flustered. When MC suddenly takes his hand and gently kisses his finger while gazing into his eyes and professing, "I love you," Aurelian's composure falters.

Elara:

Whenever Elara summons the courage to make the first move with MC, her confidence wavers, and she becomes flustered.

But when she gathers the strength to ask, "Would you like to spend some time alone with me?" and the MC responds with an honest and heartfelt, "Of course, Anything for you," her heart fills with warmth and happiness.

Kazuo:

Kazuo may not be easily prone to blushing, but he does feel flustered inside when the MC displays their badass side, especially during their hunts or when they work together to complete tasks.

When the MC emerges from a hunt, covered in blood and sweat, and declares, "Okay, we're done. Let's head back, Kazuo," he can't help but feel a jolt of excitement and nervousness.

Though he manages to maintain his stoic exterior, on the inside, he's screaming.

Aiden/Ava:

A's reaction to MC presence is almost comical, as they become flustered and blush at the slightest touch or interaction.

Even the most mundane activities, such as MC doing a task or MC playing with A’s hair, can cause A to shiver with nervousness.

Their heart rate increases, their palms get clammy, and they become powerless in MC presence. It's as if MC has the power to turn A’s world upside down with just a single glance.

SC:

“Every touch, every breath, every glance sends shivers down my spine, igniting a raging inferno within that only you can quench…”

Is the upcoming update a rewrite or just a part 2 to the current prologue?

I saw the update post and I was like wait- didn't the prologue already get dropped lol. Am i mistaken or would you not consider what you already have, a prologue. or is this actually Chapter 1?

I understand why you're confused, and it's my fault for not explaining it clearly, lol. The upcoming update is specifically for the Twine version, which includes an improved prologue with added mc customization. Going forward, Unshackled will be developed exclusively in Twine, and the Dashingdon version will be deleted once it's released.

As for chapter one, it's still a work in progress, and I am aiming to finish and release it soon.

Okayy! I was waiting for this, let's break this into two sections:

How would the (current) ROs react if the MC is suddenly being flirted with?

Aurelian: Imagine Aurelian becoming very annoyed, his jaw tensing and unknowingly tapping his foot impatiently on the ground. His mind would race as he tries to think of ways to defuse the situation. He might feel a surge of irritation wash over him, thinking how dare someone else try to charm the MC. (Aurelian might feel the same even as "friends" this boy smh 😌)

Elara: Elara would likely observe the situation and assess the intentions of the person doing the flirting before taking action. She may approach the MC and engage them in a conversation to redirect their attention elsewhere. She would subtly signal to the MC that she is aware of the situation and offer support if needed. If the MC is on the romance route, she may feel disappointed and disheartened but would still approach the situation in the same way.

Was King Aurelian the one who imprisoned the MC, or was it his father?

This is spoiler territory, but I can confirm that it was Aurelian who imprisoned the MC. However, the why's and the how's will be answered in the demo, hopefully. 😏

so the royal family has an 'angelic' background that enables them to live longer, like centuries. And for Aurelian's family to rule for six generations, that means a long time! are there other dynasties before them? or current dynasties?

absolutely! There are other dynasties that rule their own kingdoms besides the Caelum family. Some of them are even more dominant than the Caelum family in areas such as power/magic or other aspects.

I'm making a map for the game, and I can't wait to finish it and share it with you all. But since I'm not really a pro at this stuff, I'm watching some videos and reading tips to make sure it's accurate and easy to read. Gotta make sure it doesn't turn out to be a mess lol.

Could we get an option to select multiple skin markings/scars/tattoos?

You’re alive.

One survivor amongst thousands of dead. The actual death toll (if there was ever a record of it) is unavailable now. The world ended in 2026.

Now, four-hundred and twenty-three days later, you’re here. In the outskirts of Scarswater, Ohio; you live in what used to be a small farming community. Once full of life and a bustling economy, but even before The End, the area had been steadily gentrified. Dead fields, closed businesses, and now, a beautiful wasteland of parking lots and unused plazas.  

Whatever caused it is unknown. Of course, you could ask everyone you know and they would all have their own ideas about what happened.

All that you know for certain is that in January of 2026, everything stopped working. Cellphones, computers, televisions… all electronics went on the fritz before shutting down entirely. After that, people started disappearing. Animals, too. And then went the crops, mass death of acres and acres of valuable foods and materials. All gone within six months. Mass hysteria ensued, people got scared, started hoarding goods. Everyone and their mother had a gun pointed right at the road, just in case anyone got any funny ideas.

And all of that was before the bizarre sightings.

The… things. Gooey, tar-like. They absorb, and absorb, and absorb.

You wondered, for a bit, how they could eat so much. But that thought has long passed. They have no limits, no voices, no care in the world except consume. How long until they finally consume you, too?
