Aurelian is not one to blush easily, but when MC surprises him with affection or care, he becomes flustered. When MC suddenly takes his hand and gently kisses his finger while gazing into his eyes and professing, "I love you," Aurelian's composure falters.

Elara:

Whenever Elara summons the courage to make the first move with MC, her confidence wavers, and she becomes flustered.

But when she gathers the strength to ask, "Would you like to spend some time alone with me?" and the MC responds with an honest and heartfelt, "Of course, Anything for you," her heart fills with warmth and happiness.

Kazuo:

Kazuo may not be easily prone to blushing, but he does feel flustered inside when the MC displays their badass side, especially during their hunts or when they work together to complete tasks.

When the MC emerges from a hunt, covered in blood and sweat, and declares, "Okay, we're done. Let's head back, Kazuo," he can't help but feel a jolt of excitement and nervousness.

Though he manages to maintain his stoic exterior, on the inside, he's screaming.

Aiden/Ava:

A's reaction to MC presence is almost comical, as they become flustered and blush at the slightest touch or interaction.

Even the most mundane activities, such as MC doing a task or MC playing with A’s hair, can cause A to shiver with nervousness.

Their heart rate increases, their palms get clammy, and they become powerless in MC presence. It's as if MC has the power to turn A’s world upside down with just a single glance.

SC:

“Every touch, every breath, every glance sends shivers down my spine, igniting a raging inferno within that only you can quench…”

This update is a massive improvement for new readers rather than warranting an entirely new playthrough. If you have any saves right before the Ceremony, you can find the most content there! However, the changes and additions are all over the demo.

Minor rewording for Karen encounter.

MC can now openly grimace when mortals call for MC's attention in Chapter 1. Previously, the only real negative reaction to them is turning away, which is open for any interpretation as to why MC does so.

When mortals ask for MC's help, MC can snap at them to speak quickly.

Most choices suggested you are friendly with Nero, so added a couple of options that are neutral towards him, leaning towards dismissive.

Rewrote a line that says you waved to Nero goodbye. It simply says that he departs.

Added an option to be frustrated with the conversation about mortals, when the only other non-positive options about mortals were about being completely disinterested.

Added an option where the MC says they can take care of themselves or they don't need other people worrying about them so much.

When choosing to be touch averse, selective, or not touch averse, you can now choose to be selective and not want to touch Rafaele, which initially was not an option.

If you are the Universal Eye, you tell Salvatore about the Universe being in pain and they dismiss it, you may be able to refuse conversation with them. They might keep talking to you, but you won't respond to them.

Can decide your relationship to your parents. Can also decide if you're open about your feelings towards them or not.

Variations in how your parents speak to you while preparing and during the Ceremony if they are aware of your bitterness towards them.

Can again openly express disdain for mortals or keep your feelings to yourself when answering Rafaele's question, when originally those options were absent

Can storm off from Ciocana if you do not express positive feelings about the dance, especially if you are touch-averse.

Added blue, pink, purple, and no hair options to Chapter 1, not available in the prologue.

Added red and gold eye colors to Chapter 1, not available in the prologue.

Added clothes option to Chapter 1 to wear to the Ceremony.

ROs will comment on your clothes if they particularly like it during the Ceremony (each have 3 out of 6 clothes they like.)

Added pronouns before the Ceremony. You can have multiple pronouns, remove them, and add multiple of the same kind to increase its chances of frequency.

Kazuo Sakuragi [RO] - The Loyal [M]

Kazuo was a kind and helpful member of his village until a lycan attack killed his family and turned him into a lycan. After months of fear and anger, he was helped by the protagonist to adapt to his new life. Kazuo joined the warriors and became fiercely loyal to the protagonist. He vowed to find and kill the lycan that destroyed his life.

jokes aside (but is it really a joke? 🤪), SC has a cute side to them. They get surprised if MC takes their flirting seriously and dominates the conversation. Oooh. 👀

☄️ COMET - what do people assume about them? are they right?

Let's stick with the MC's perspective on them since anything else would be spoiler territory (🚨). In the beginning, with the knowledge that the MC had as a warrior, they thought they were a demon. However, in reality, no one had ever seen a demon before, other than in old books or in accounts of elderly scholars who had gone crazy after their experiences. As a result, their words could not be trusted. What if they were just hallucinating due to old age? Or could it be that they became insane because of their encounters with something else?

🎁 PRESENT - what types of presents would they be most happy to receive? are they good at gift giving?

I apologize to anyone who will pursue a romantic relationship with them. They try so hard, but they're the worst gift givers ever... 😔 But you know what they say, it's the thought that counts, right? 🥺They've never received gifts from anyone before, so anything they get, they'll adore. I mean, even a pair of socks. You'll see them wearing those socks all year long until they wear out. (They can be quite wholesome behind all that mischief.)

💥 COLLISON - what emotions do they have trouble dealing with?

Empathy towards people other than MC. For instance, if MC helps someone in need without expecting anything in return, SC might see it as a pointless gesture. They just don't understand why MC would go out of their way to be helpful when there's nothing in it for them. It's something that SC struggles with, and even though they might say they get it, deep down, they really don't. But at the same time, they don't want MC to think badly of them, so they'll go along with it, even if they don't really believe it.

those of you who have followed me for a while may have noticed that i took quite an extended absence from tumblr and i've been a bit cagey about why that is. i have been trying to be more thoughtful about the parts of myself i share with strangers on the internet, mostly as a way to guard against people who aren't very nice.

all of that being said, i've just finished my entry for the neo-twiny jam and i think the reason will be pretty obvious for everyone who plays it: i had a baby! (congratulations to me etc etc).

coming in at 494 words, this project has been a really cathartic opportunity to reflect concisely on one of the best and hardest things i've ever done.

with that, i hope you enjoy nine months out.
