Top 10 (Johnlock) ships

So, @msholmes02 tagged me on this (Thank you ❤️). I decided to break this blog’s dynamic a little and do this Top 10.

To not get too far from the theme of the blog, I will tag a top 10 Johnlock ships

1) Granada Holmes (The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes)

I think this is one of the best Sherlock Holmes adaptions and the relationship between (Both) Watson(s) and Holmes is a marvel. They so soft and tender to each other. (And it’s the closest to the canon)

2) ACD Canon

I would put this on first too, but there is something to Brett’s, Burke’s and Hardwicke’s acting and forces me to put this on second position. But still, their relationship in canon is so beautiful and pure and makes my heart melt.

3) BBC Sherlock

Besides everything that happened in the series, this is still one of my favourites. I won’t criticise everything that I think is wrong with the series, because this is not the place for me to do so. But oh! If they had taken advantage of the things they had…

4) The Great Mouse Detective

The movie is awesome! Like, if you didn’t watched it, do it like immediately. And their relationship between Basil and Dawson is so funny and wonderful.

5) Richie Holmes

Despite the distancing from the book, their relationship in this saga does not lose to the other adaptations, in my opinion. They love (and hate) each other. And their dynamic is hilarious.

6) Russian Holmes

They are married, this is all I have to say.

7) The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes

The movie is really great. It shows a perspective from their relationship that few dared to show. But, it shows a Holmes visibly pining, and a Watson that is (purposely) obtuse to it.

8) Rathbone’s Holmes

It’s a classic and their relationship has its moments. It’s not something that you can smell the romance. But the films are quite good.

9) Miss Sherlock

The newest of Holmes adaptations have interesting perspectives on Wato and Sherlock’s relationship (They are similar to BBC Sherlock and somehow totally different). And in my opinion it promises more in the others series.

10) House and Wilson

For those who doesn’t know, the House and Wilson characters are based on Holmes and Watson. Whoever watches the series falls in love with their relationship. Wilson is the most important person on House’s life and the contrary is also truth.

It’s the last… I think-

I was recently watching Merlin and every semi merthur scene I kept thinking "kiss. Just kiss" lol. Your art gives me life when the show producers weren't brave enough to put in a merthur scene.

How to use the bucket Arthur likes to use every opportunity to kiss Merlin from above (because no way Merlin is a few inches taller)

Why Bioshock should be a Netflix series

1) more time compared to a movie.  Each Level could be an episode. (with some levels getting 2, such as Welcome to Rapture, Fort Frolic, etc)

2) No worries about ratings. Netflix has shown it doesn’t care about E/G, and Bioshock has to be R.  There is too much blood and death. Not to mention the Little Sisters and Big Daddies being who they are.

3) The Audio Dairies can be flashbacks.  Some of them will have to be either simplified or cut (such as the ones about codes to get into rooms) but we could see Rapture’s rise and fall play out in bits. Maybe some can be added to show stuff form the novel or just to show stuff that were only talked about in a diary? (If I remember correctly, there is no audio diary FROM the take over of Fontaine Futuristc for example)

4) Clarify a lot of canon.  Stuff from Burial at Sea, seeing Eleanor and Delta, etc.  Even places from 2 that weren’t seen or mentioned but would help the story and plot.  (such as the amusement parks, the trains, etc)

5) More Tenenbaum, Ryan, Fontaine.  We get to actually see them play out and react, unlike in the game. We SEE Brigid come to her realization and change.  Ryan’s figuring out who Jack is. Fontaine setting up his little empire.  Suchong experimenting.  Sofia Lamb, Dr Steinman, Diane McClintock, maybe even Elizabeth and Booker.

6) More focus on the effects of splicing.  Why people Splice. How people first realized what was going on.  Etc.

7) the Civil War in all of it’s horrible glory. The Mind Control, the shortages, the people trying to escape, the houses, Ryan and Atlas going at it from their glass towers with everything they got and all the people dying in the middle.

8) Big Daddies and Little Sisters!

I just think it could really work.

okay around 3:35:00 is when Tyler’s talking about the haunted bathroom and creepy noises in their house (earlier he mentions that he’s not living with Mark anymore) and while he’s talking about the creepy attic noises Ethan’s like “i live with you why do I not know of this” or whatever

3:39:19 where Tyler confirms that him and Ethan had to pose for the picture and they discuss the making of the “Love Too Soon” play scene

4:19:30 is when the screen was blacked out and you hear Tyler saying “i told you to leave your clothes ON, ethan”

around 5:07:00 is when Tyler talks about his favorite memory of Ethan and them going to a haunted house together

7:30:58 is Tyler talking about going up to try to massage Eth

at like 7:33:50 when tyler’s ass appears and Ethan’s like “hhh i hate that” and kathryn’s like “what youre not used to looking at tyler’s butt yet”
