After our heart, singular. Awwww so precious 🥰. See, as an American, I would have said "after our own hearts"--plural, two people with two separate hearts. I don't know if it's a British thing, his using heart in the singular or if it's a wonderful way for Arthur Conan Doyle to emphasize the intimate closeness of Holmes and his Watson, but either way I love it 🩷🩷🩷

Reading Arthur Conan Doyle's original Sherlock Holmes stories in order is exactly like watching two people fall in love in real time.
In other words, "Thanks, babe! You know me so well. 🥰"
Sherlock being all flirty and cute with Watson because he doesn't want to clean up the tons of paper he's got scattered everywhere is....sigh...kinda relatable ☺️😂
I'm re-reading Sherlock Holmes and re-watching Good Omens for all the teeny tiny bits of goodness so I can know everything possible about my precious little OTPs 💕💕💕
