There was a time when I had to force myself to pick up weight and lift it up and down. Where the physical exertion made me feel weak and wanting to quit. Where I didn’t want to continue and it felt easier to just quit. Then I proved to myself that I could do it and that I was able to make changes and achieve my goals. Now I crave the burn and the strain, the hardship and the struggle. Feeling my muscles fatigue and fail and then rebuild and grow stronger. It’s become a part of me, it’s become an addiction that can only be understood by experiencing it for yourself.
