one of my fave parts abt aftg is how realistic it is. like they're all college kids, 18-20 ish. they're just teenagers. like yeah obviously neil is going to retaliate on live television without thinking about the repercussions. obviously they're going to rely on their most violent friend for protection from the mafia even though he's just a 20 year old bipolar kid with a heavy ass racquet. obviously the trojans are going to have a cardboard cutout of a dog with a stupid name that they treat like a real pet. obviously they're going to take tourist photos when they go pick up the random dude from arizona that's going to change their lives forever. god i love them. god

if I was vanessa and I watched my ex bf maintain eye contact with his live in wolverine from an alt universe who was very literally “made” in a lab (and wades wet dreams) take their shared dog, give wade a nod of encouragement & for wade to slide his hand up against mine i’d think the next words out of his mouth would be “do you want to join our polycule”

I just started rereading All for the game and I started to wonder what coach Hernandez would think of Neil vs the media or his reaction to what the news said about Baltimore

Like imagine what he must be thinking after a year of knowing this kid who move under the radar and all of a sudden he’s running his mouth off in front of the press and has public beef with Riko.

THEN imagine how he would react to finding out about Neil’s family. Like how would he feel????

Idk I think this could be really funny and maybe even a little sad but somebody plz recommend fic with something similar

Mayhaps I just have way too much hubris, but I feel like we as a fandom could make that "100th place" climb higher if we just intentionally create and consume more fanfics

I thought about Andrew, who falls asleep on Neil on the couch or in a bag chair, and Neil is completely immobilized for several hours, he even has to skip training

Maybe half the time Andrew just lies with his eyes closed, pretending to be asleep (and enjoying the feel of Neil's body underneath him)

god i feel so stupid. i just realized:

How many times do you think the Foxes have joked about similarities between Kevin and Wymack before they knew? They’d laugh about how “you’ve perfected Coach’s look of disappointment” and Kevin would stare off into space for a moment, a little bit wistful, a little bit pleased, before play on the court resumes under Wymack’s direction.

Imagine Andrew hears from Wymack and Abby that Bee is having a bad day. He's graduated so she's not his therapist anymore but they keep in contact. He suddenly posts up on campus with gourmet hot cocoa, breaks into her office when he knows she has a break, says not a single word, throws himself across the couch-

but Bee is already smiling (it's so small, she really was having a bad day) and so, as far as he's concerned, Mission Accomplished
