one of my fave parts abt aftg is how realistic it is. like they're all college kids, 18-20 ish. they're just teenagers. like yeah obviously neil is going to retaliate on live television without thinking about the repercussions. obviously they're going to rely on their most violent friend for protection from the mafia even though he's just a 20 year old bipolar kid with a heavy ass racquet. obviously the trojans are going to have a cardboard cutout of a dog with a stupid name that they treat like a real pet. obviously they're going to take tourist photos when they go pick up the random dude from arizona that's going to change their lives forever. god i love them. god

I need help finding a Andriel fic.

Ok so. I read this fic a long time ago and thought of it a couple of months ago but I haven’t been able to find it since. It takes place when Niel and Andrew are pro players and on different teams. Their rivalry is very well known so Neil’s teammates are protective of him, but at some point they find out that they are married. Neil’s teammates still don’t like Andrew so they think that he was forced into the marriage or it’s abusive idk. But it really gets to Neil and he freaks out and he only calmed down when Andrew makes Neil talk about his fathers death to remind him that he’s safe now.

At this point idk if it was deleted or if I completely made it up but I need help plz

Jean wouldn't call Jeremy with Mon cherie or mi amor, he would only use those endearing names with people he wants to piss off (cough neil) or people like catalina or laila as a friendly way!! He will use it to taunt them.

He can't fathom calling Jeremy any cheesy moniker so he instead calls him stuff like petit salaud or garce!! Everytime he sees Jeremy he flushes and lets out a string of curses in French bc he doesn't know what to do with his emotions.

might be reading into it too much but you know what? I think Jeremy not being able to have a real golden retriever because his family is allergic is symbolism for the fact that Jeremy’s family isn’t happy with the current Jeremy that they have and instead he has to put up a fake cardboard version of himself to please them and everyone else. But that might just be me 🤷‍♀️

its so sick to me that the rumors of jean sleeping his way onto the ravens are widespread but not one person has stopped for a moment to remember that jean started playing with them at 16 years old.

many obvious reasons that andrew found it so surreal coming back after getting sober and finding neil still there but one of the ones nobody talks about is neil’s reaction to the nest. like he just straight up did not care. yeah weeks of torture no big deal. like that has to be a headfuck… kevin is shitscared at even the mention of the nest & andrew knows the depth of kevin’s fear more than anyone and neil comes back looking like a different person with a million fresh injuries & is just like yea whatever :/ ??? ?? ???? andrew had to have been thinking who the fuck is this guy and just how Stupid is he. no wonder he hates him
