It would be very helpful for people that want to hire this kind of goons, though. Imagine during a cliché warehouse interview somebody going "We also were given three and a half stars by Damian Wayne - AND we've improved on the tracker removal since, like he suggested".
the daily planet: “it’s been 0 days since last kidnapping’ how the Wayne family is coping with Damian Wayne’s recent abduction”
damian treating the interview like a yelp review: the use of handguns was idiotic, their ransom note lacked inspiration, their negotiation tactics were terrible, the food they gave me was of horrible nutritional value, 1/5 stars.
It's actually so funny because just today I read a post about why Putin did not meet up with an important social media guy (the one who created Russian VK and after it was taken over by the government to spy on people he moved away and created Telegram with the specific intention of it not being possible to use to spy). The message quite literally read "it's because Putin is an old-school KGB agent and simply does not comprehend how important Durov (the guy) is; it is incorrect to compare him with Trump, who uses Twitter, interacts with bloggers and had organised a takeover online". And then I go here and read this. The perspective decides everything, heh? 😁
(just to avoid unnecessary back-and-forth: I am not saying Trump is some sort of Internet guru or something, but expressing my amusement at the comparison of the two posts with completely opposite opinions that, however, do not actually contradict each other)
((I also am not sold on Putin being ignorant about Durov but that's neither here nor there))
Donald Trump had a “love story” for fake photos indicating that Taylor Swift fans are backing the Republican presidential nominee on Sunday.
The former president took to Truth Social to share screenshots from social media accounts that depict women wearing “Swifties for Trump” tees, however, a majority of the pictures appeared to be generated by artificial intelligence.
Hm. When Itachi got him with Amaterasu post-mortem I assume Obito either used Kamui to snuff it out with vacuum or just chopped his arm off and grew a new one in a span of seconds, which is badass. What would he do against a glue trap, though?
Theoretically, first such attack would not yield much since aside from scenes with Kakashi he wears a wardrobe worth of clothes (not gay at all, Kishi, good job as always), but attempts two, three, four would potentially have a chance. Is Obito's control of Kamui good enough to only move his bare ass and not the glue particles already among his skin/zetsu cells? Would he ditch the paper but actually be unable to get rid of glue? Is it why he wears a hellish amounts of clothes up until he uses Izanagi? Because Konan drenched him in glue and now all of those are stuck to him? Is it how Konan learnt about the way around Kamui?
And the main question: if he was unable to get rid of particles but really wanted to, would he just,,, pull his skin off? Like a snake. Would Orochimaru sue him because of Copyright?
konan has amassed 600 billion glue traps. she DOES plan to kill you.

Read somewhere that for Aztecs it was considered dishonourable to be unable to take their enemies in alive (because then they couldn’t be sacrificed alive but besides the point). Would be nice if we could think of the inability of five trained people to take in one inebriated lunatic as their failure at their job, even without being a part of a bloodthirsty cult.
Got permanently banned from a subreddit for saying law enforcement shooting someone dead in the street was still a bad thing even when the victim was a violent right-wing fanatic.
Gotta say, I did not expect that to be such a controversial statement. So repeating it here: law enforcement shouldn't kill people. Even violent assholes have a right to be taken in alive, and it's a failure of practice and policy when someone is killed in the process of an arrest.
I was looking for a specific post going through the tags in the archive and opened this one because I really hoped Tim was to explain Pokémon to Ras Al Ghul 😁
Please imagine Tim Drake attempting to explain Pokémon Go to an increasingly exasperated Bruce who is just Not Getting It
"empowering women by sending katy perry to space for 2 minutes" shut the fuck up. samantha cristoforetti was the first female commander of the international space station and she became an astronaut because of star trek. and there is a real chance she is a kirk/spock shipper
I thought it was Itachi first (the next moment I realised there was too much emotion present for it to be possible). However, can you imagine? Can you imagine??? Some n-th timeline plothole canon divergence thing, and the whole disaster of Uchiha Obito's Life™ happens earlier than planned, so it's Itachi in Sasuke's place. A comedy show in Disney Channel style with two disaster adults (who also possibly wouldn't admit they have feelings for each other, always a fun topping) adopting a Wednesday Addams × that kid from Horton and his baby brother who's into revenge and dramatic speeches. Five seasons.

What if,,, Ryuk came to Earth to watch murder clownery but halfway through decided he preferred star-crossed lovers slow burn romance. And then spent like ten episodes trying to get Light and L together, completely fucking over both of their plans because what can they do against him?
umm, canon
If you see this you’re legally obligated to reblog and tag with the book you’re currently reading
I personally like to cancel the canon HORRORS™ that i find to be illogical, unsatisfying, and lacking in proper resolution, and instead provide the characters with the ones that make sense in social and historical circumstances going on, therefore being far harder to shrug off and affecting every aspect of the characters’ lifes, making them see their society from a different, ugly side, lose all hope, embrace living with all of that, very likely abandon everything they’ve been living for for the last forever, etc. AND THEN they get a happy ending - the one, may I add, that they have been denied in canon despite the far lesser extent of The Horrors™️.
Though unsatisfying not-really-happy endings are also great, but only when they follow something that is more than a lukewarm tea of a plot.
writing fanfiction is wild. i could make these two characters do anything. i could make them get married rn. the possibilities are endless
I agree! The only people for whom it is okay to mention this is for us Ukrainians but only when we mock Russians who parrot their propaganda's bullshit about us being a "lost sheep" or whatever. And even so, I am feeling vaguely like Shan Yu from Mulan is going to appear in the corner and stare at me disapprovingly each time I mention again that Moscowia was created by a Golden Horde khan long after Kyiv Rus was established (and Shan Yu isn't even a Mongol!). It feels like an insult. Lets call Russians Russians and judge them for what they are today. "Sins of fathers" trope is no longer so popular, somebody give the Wall Street Journal writers a swift course in (truly) modern culture.
Fucking bizarre watching people try to eject Russians from whiteness in real time
