He got his anchor back in Wild Life :D
Ren: One of the most surprising things from the weekend was watching Martyn swim like an Olympic swimmer.
Impulse: Yes. Yeah.
Skizz: Yeah.
Ren: Like, he has the most insane form? He—it’s actually insane. He swims like an Olympian.
Skizz: Well he—
Impulse: He’s the most athletic person in a gamer bod I’ve ever seen.
Ren: Yeah (laughs).
Skizz: Yeah dude, yeah. He did a backflip! He did a backflip off the dock like it was nothing, dude.
Impulse: Yeah.
Ren: He did a backflip. It was so good.
Impulse: Insane.
Bdubs: (to Ren) You love him.
(Skizz and Impulse begin giggling, Ren and Bdubs joins in)
Impulse: He was-he was great, he was fantastic. Well, Bdubs—
Skizz: Martyn and Diggity, sittin’ in a tree—

I also think it would be beneficial for us to keep in mind that there is no 'main character' in the Life Series.
It's fully understandable and valid that not every person can watch every pov, obviously I don't expect them to. And it's natural that, if you're only watching some pov's, your analysis of the series will be colored through the lens of that person's perspective.
But sometimes I do feel like we lose a lot of nuance and important characterization when we let the most popular perspectives define the story. Very often I see certain characters glossed over, defined by one act that happened to be important in a more popular pov, or outright demonized in anon. Which I think is a shame.
The Life Series is a really interesting story because, being a series where every person records and uploads the same amount of content at the same time, every single person has a full and expansive perspective just like whatever pov you happen to watch.
And sometimes when I see people treat certain characters like an irrelevant side note or like a villain, I feel the need to point out that each of them has just as much of a story, complete with complex trauma and relationships and motivations, as anyone else, and I think sometimes general fanon ideas lose that nuance and layered storytelling by centering their characterization of characters from the perspective of the most popular pov's rather than from that characters own perspective.
Ren: Where's the tickler? (laughs) Thar it be. (in a pirate voice, or the same voice he used as the Red King) Thar, thar it be, let-let me go tickle some sand. You know...when I was a wee lad in the Black Isles...me and the Hand, we used to, we used to do a fair bit of ticklin', we did. Ticklin' of all kinds. Not just of the sand variety, oh no. Ye can speak to a fair fine-fair number of lasses in the Black Isles. They'll tell you all about the Hand and I's ticklin' days. Oh, they were glorious, they were.
Martyn: We'll-we'll get a good shot of this as well. Ren: I wish--I wish I could remember the words. (in the Red King's voice) Ah, me laddy. Martyn: Yep. Yeah yeah yeah. Ren: (in the Red King's voice) The Black Isles remember this night forever. Martyn: (in the Hand's voice) Alright me Lord. I'm gonna do it! Gah! (Martyn starts laughing) (in his normal voice) And then what was the big thing with the echo? Was it, (imitating Ren's Red King) "Red Winter is come, me Laddy!" Ren: (in the Red King's voice) Red Winter has come, me Laddy! (Martyn laughs) Scar: (maybe?) Here I come, Ren? (He mimes shooting Ren with a bow) Martyn: Doooh--no, we don't do the full ending! Scar: Not the King---! Martyn: Nooooo. (Scar mimes shooting him, and Martyn tries to defend with his axe, before falling back into his chair) Ren: Full ending replay! Scar: The timing! Ren: Perfection!
Martyn: --Right? So, this is a lo--(faux offended) what are you pointing at--why he's pointing at me?! What are you pointing at me for, bro? You point at yourself! Point at yourself! (normal tone) This guy. I'm stuck next to this guy all weekend, can you believe it? Can you believe it? (almost smug) We had-we had breakfast this morning. We had breakfast. He was like, (imitating Ren) "dude. I've been wanting to go to breakfast with you, like, forever." (normal tone) Had pancakes, syrup. Spot on.
