However, it was a particularly terrible night for her that day.

Her research had gone extremely haywired, and despite the best efforts of Albedo to cheer her up, she still couldn’t move on from how her most recent experiment on cecilias seem to be not working.

You had the keys to her house, so she wasn’t surprised to see that her house lights on.

She was surprised to see you sprawled out on the dining table, sleeping soundly though.

A veggie ham bake was on the table, with a cheer up note telling her to not give up and that she’ll eventually reach her goal

I think she really reflected that day on how much you did for her

And she’ll melt, so so hard as she drapes a blanket over your sleeping form.

How did she not realize that? Actually, Sucrose might be so shocked that she’ll run several experiments before she realizes that yes.

Don’t get me wrong it’s just that,,, even when the both of you are closer, she just doesn’t like the strange feelings of nervousness that she has around you!

It makes her feel vulnerable and all, and it feels really weird

As Ayaka begins to slowly make her way back to the Kamisato Estate, she couldn't help but smile a little as she thinks just how wonderful her day had been. Though the two of you had spent a simple day together, Ayaka still marveled at how many precious memories the two of you had managed to make together in such a short amount of time

While she had often imagined what it would be like to experience a festival in person, she knew it would never be possible for someone like her. Both Ayaka herself and the Kamisato name were far too well known to allow for such unruly public conduct. It wouldn't be proper etiquette for someone of her social standing to walk around and enjoy the festival as though she were just some ordinary girl and not the eldest daughter of the Kamisato Clan.

Or at least that's what she thought until she met you. While the day had started out with the two of you simply trying to find her mother's old friend, Ayaka never knew just how many new wonders she would get to experience in just a single day. (A day which seemed to end a bit too quickly for her liking).

From eating pizza together, to telling each other your fortunes as the festival came to an end, it had been a very long time since she had last felt so free; and it had been largely thanks to your company that made the day so enjoyably memorable.

As the moon began to slowly reach its peak, and the two of you said your goodbyes before going your separate ways, Ayaka comes to an immediate halt when she hears you softy humming the music she sang when she graced you with her impromptu dance. And for what feels like the millionth time that day, Ayaka once again attempts to stop her heart from beating so quickly as the moments with you seemed to replay endless as she walks home.

As Ayaka stopped to glaze up at the moon, she realized she wanted to see you again. She wanted to experience what life was like by your side. She wanted to see the festivals of other lands and taste the foods they make, to tell you of her true feelings and to share her burdens with you and to offer you the same comfort in return.

It was the first time she had ever felt this way so she couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and trepidation. Perhaps it would be best to simply start small and invite you to Komore Teahouse for some tea and hotpot should you be willing

To get away from it you went to the Komore Teahouse. After entering a room you stood in front of the wall clearly feeling defeated.

She looked at you and asked if you were okay but it felt like you weren't listening or you just plainly ignored her. So she stood between you and the wall asking again but her tone was more serious.

You just rested your head against her shoulder as your hand supported you against the wall.

You admitted to the fact that you just felt down because of the rain that had ruined your plans.

While she did listen to you she was more focused on the position the two of you were in.

"I see- uhm I understand how you feel but-" her embarrassed tone made you look up, that's when you noticed that you pinned her against the wall.

You immediately pushed yourself away from her and apologized. She didn't mind what had happened in the slightest and the two of you continued your little date.

She always liked it when you got confident with flirting. It's mostly because even though teasing is harder- once she hits the right spot she can see really great expression of flustered denial.

Since they pushed you Ei was pushed as well and she ended up with her back against the wall and you automatically placed your hand against it to stabilize your balance since you were almost about to fall.

As soon as the theif turned around to see if they were still being chased they saw Ei and freaked out. Thus they got captured.

Both you and Ei focused on that before you both turned your heads as the case solved itself.

hu tao tries her best. she believes that death is simply just part of life, there's nothing to be upset about since the dead are only crossing over, but when she finds you sobbing in your home after the late passing of one of your family members she's speechless.

when facing someone crying over death, which is something hu tao deals with almost daily, she opts to try and explain why sadness is pointless and unnecessary. but seeing you break down for the first time made her realize one thing.

she hated, hated seeing you cry.

she approached you slowly, unsure and inexperienced, not really knowing what to do or where to start. she shrugged out of her heavy coat and placed it gently over your shoulders, patting your back lightly before sitting down next to you. your eyes widened when meeting hu tao's uncharacteristically soft gaze, free from her typical mischief and playfulness, leaving only affection and sympathy. a gentle smile on her lips as she enveloped you into a hug.

"he crossed safely," she murmured, hands rubbing calming circles over your back.

after you had received the news you had tried to put on a brave face, trying your best to stay strong in front of the strongest woman you knew. but sara, being ever-so-observant, saw right through you, though you still refused to allow yourself to be vulnerable.

sara was worried about you. while she wasn't accustomed to loss through death, she was all-too aware of the loneliness. she wanted nothing more than to tell you that she was there for you, that you were able to be open with her, but strong words of affection and comfort were not her strong suit.

however, one night she woke to your muffled crying, your body turned as far from hers as possible as you cried late-night tears into your tear-stained pillow. she sat up abruptly, starling you as you started babbling apologies, but you were quickly cut off by her arms quickly wrapping around you. she pulled you into her, holding you tight, her sudden display of affection catching you off guard. she simply held you for a while, struggling to find the right words, only running her hands up and down your arm soothingly, pressing intermittent kisses to the top of your head.

as soon as he heard the news, thoma was all over you. he had immediately rushed to town to pick up some comfort food, making sure to grab all of your favorites before making a beeline for your home. however, when he got there, he found you huddled under the covers in your bedroom, your soft cries just breaking his heart.

he set the snacks down on the bedside table before sitting next to your quivering form, patting your back softly.

"love?" he whispered, gently pulling the blanket away from your face so he could press a kiss to your forehead.

upon seeing him you practically leapt into his arms, clinging him and burying your face into his chest. thoma wrapped his arms around your waist, rocking you slowly.

for thoma, your happiness was his top priority. knowing that you were hurting hurt him too, and all he wanted was to make you smile again.
